      @LeGrandMugu 25 дней назад +3

      That’s exactly why you didn’t understand why Lando was so disappointed. He had (as he’s had for quite a few races now) the best car; he should have won that race, especially considering that Max mentally broke him, forcing him to stay behind until the pit stop. If Norris had won the race and Verstappen finished 4th-since, given his pace, that was actually quite ambitious-Norris would have gained 13 points; instead, he only gained 10. Norris didn’t study anything; he chickened out on the second maneuver and stayed safely behind Verstappen, losing the race as a result. When you’re running at the pace he was, you’re supposed to win the race. In fact, Verstappen in the McLaren would already be well ahead in the championship-that’s the difference between a British journeyman and a world champion.

    Why are people surprised when a dominant champion is ruthless? Its literally a prerequisite. Anyone at the top of ANY competitive field, the elites of the elites, usually score as the most machivellian people youlld find in humankind. Racers at this level are no different. I dont care for such people in day to day life, but as on screen entertainment in sports, sure. I mean thats the whole point to see people COMPETE. Stop moralizing and whining if youre going to spend your time watching a dumb rich kid sport. Just enjoy it for what it is.

However in this particular case Norris knew exactly what he needed to do in order to get his nose in front at the corner knowing Max would push him wide, it worked. The second incident was an obvious "dive-bomb" designed to achieve nothing positive except to either cause contact or force Norris off the track, Max was never going to make the corner and whether you agree or not makes no difference. The stewards, and to be fair, the vast majority of those involved in the spot at race weekends saw it for what it really was and acted accordingly. Personally I would have disqualified him for dangerous driving, but that is just my opinion so I accept the stewards decision. Similarly I totally disagree with the penalty for Norris at but accepted that the stewards did, in their view, the right thing. Interesting though that the Drivers Association submitted their concerns about stewardship because all, except the 4 RB drivers, disagree that Norris should have been penalised. We can all agree to disagree but in the end the points stay the same.

    Max is not only the fastest driver, also the smartest. He will do everything to win. Winning the championship he knew to either take Norris out, or at least give an advantage to Ferrari so Norris could not win the race. He managed to do that. He had the third or maybe fourth fastest car this weekend. So normally he should have finished P5 anyway. Norris should have easily won this race with that car. So P1 (25) vs P5 (10) would have meant 15 points. Now with Norris finishing P2 (18) and Max on P6 (8), he only closed the gap by 10 instead of 15. Norris did not have the guts to race anymore after that. Yes it is dirty, but Max is maximizing points and also setting an example for next races. The difficult thing for the stewards is they can only give him a penalty (20s is a lot), because they can't prove dirty driving.

      Senna crashed with Prost on purpose, so he would wij the championship. So did Schumacher. Crashgate for Alonso.
      Champions play dirty. That's why they are champions.

    I like Max, I like all the other drivers and teams. (Except Ocon). But the driving and sportmanship he showed today was very poor and unsporting.

    He sound like "give me the fastest car than I will win" if not I will have fun and show how to drive no matter what kind of penalty I will get. He is one of the fastest driver of all time but he is turning in a strange way.

    How can a Brit (Herbert) be a steward when another Brit is fighting for the championship?
    It's like a footballmatch England - Netherlands with a British referee. 😂

      I knew as soon as Herbert was one of the stewards that Max was going to cop it. Not saying he didn't deserve a penalty for turn 8. But 2 x10's ?

    All ok when it goes your way.. but a world champion trying to drive the opponents off the track... is he really champion material..... we all watched the FIA blunder and give him his first title.. come on.. good to see him having to fight. Him v Lewis in a Ferrari... come on.

    Let’s see if the hew motor will add something extra for Max. But the penalties given were ok but 2 time 10 seconds and then stating that these are standard? Last week it was 5 seconds. Stewards and FIA are a disster for the sport. Anyway, Max will do his thing to maximize every race nd Lando together with Zak are still crying babies and will lose both titels 😊
