He can't lose - he has a full on meltdown if something doesn't go his way and it shows with the divebomb at T8 today.
Also considering the fact that norris divemombed and had no chance of making that corner. The other incident was 10sec penalty for max but he maybe thought norris would give the position back
Great comments from Max, be absolutely sure, the FIA will also have heard them and will take note for future races. Norris played him at his own game and madmax came off worse 😅
@@kproc12 😅😂, desperation causes people to do desperate thing and Max is doing what he sees as necessary to win the championship 🏆., I can understand that. However in this particular case Norris knew exactly what he needed to do in order to get his nose in front at the corner knowing Max would push him wide, it worked. The second incident was an obvious "dive-bomb" designed to achieve nothing positive except to either cause contact or force Norris off the track, Max was never going to make the corner and whether you agree or not makes no difference. The stewards, and to be fair, the vast majority of those involved in the spot at race weekends saw it for what it really was and acted accordingly. Personally I would have disqualified him for dangerous driving, but that is just my opinion so I accept the stewards decision. Similarly I totally disagree with the penalty for Norris at but accepted that the stewards did, in their view, the right thing. Interesting though that the Drivers Association submitted their concerns about stewardship because all, except the 4 RB drivers, disagree that Norris should have been penalised. We can all agree to disagree but in the end the points stay the same.
The Brits can't win on the track but whining enough can get a steward to help off track. Sky (chirper) sports commentary so biased. 20 seconds is ridiculous,
His own race engineer told Verstappen a few races ago that he wasn't going to indulge his whinng, and twice called him "childish" on an open mike. I have been watching F1 since the 1960s, and I have never seen anything like that. I have seen bad drivers, and I have seen good drivers (Senna, Prost, Schumacher) deliberately use their cars as rams to take out other drivers. I haven't seen Verstappen do that (yet). But he came close to it today. I have never seen any driver force other drivers off the road as much as Verstappen. And I have never seen any other driver with such a spoilt-brat attitude when talking to his team. You have poor judgement.
If any one think if Max gives an F aboutt Johnny pervert and the biased stewards they need to get their heads checked. Those penalities, atleast the magnitude, were ridiculuous.
Turn 8 deserved 10 seconds. Dangerous driving, no two ways about it. If he hadn't had that meltdown then he probably wouldn't have got any penalty, they would have let the drivers sort it out. But nope. Melt down. 20 seconds, prevented LN from winning so I guess job done.

I wish Max would of taken Norris out because it would of cost him more if the stewards see it as deliberate, it’s not been done yet but they have the power to deduct points and give out race bans and if that’s what it takes to rain him in then so be it. Such a weird argument, did you even watch the last race. Lando got a penalty for gaining position off the track. Not pushing someone off twice and gaining position slightly different huh. Although 20 seconds was too much
1: I'm pretty sure they changed the rules because of last week. 2: It was blatant overly aggressive driving because it happened 2 races in a row, and twice in the same lap...
Max is not only the fastest driver, also the smartest. He will do everything to win. Winning the championship he knew to either take Norris out, or at least give an advantage to Ferrari so Norris could not win the race. He managed to do that. He had the third or maybe fourth fastest car this weekend. So normally he should have finished P5 anyway. Norris should have easily won this race with that car. So P1 (25) vs P5 (10) would have meant 15 points. Now with Norris finishing P2 (18) and Max on P6 (8), he only closed the gap by 10 instead of 15. Norris did not have the guts to race anymore after that. Yes it is dirty, but Max is maximizing points and also setting an example for next races. The difficult thing for the stewards is they can only give him a penalty (20s is a lot), because they can't prove dirty driving.
Looking at the comments, it's really low quality, it's right to get a penalty for dirty driving. Is it normal to try to cut the points of your competitor to the point if you're obliged not to drive dirty and you break that obligation? If Hamilton or Alonso had done that, they would have criticized him, and Max said, "Oh, well done." It's like this. LOL
Senna crashed with Prost on purpose, so he would wij the championship. So did Schumacher. Crashgate for Alonso. Champions play dirty. That's why they are champions.
He sound like "give me the fastest car than I will win" if not I will have fun and show how to drive no matter what kind of penalty I will get. He is one of the fastest driver of all time but he is turning in a strange way.
How can a Brit (Herbert) be a steward when another Brit is fighting for the championship? It's like a footballmatch England - Netherlands with a British referee. 😂
All ok when it goes your way.. but a world champion trying to drive the opponents off the track... is he really champion material..... we all watched the FIA blunder and give him his first title.. come on.. good to see him having to fight. Him v Lewis in a Ferrari... come on.
Let’s see if the hew motor will add something extra for Max. But the penalties given were ok but 2 time 10 seconds and then stating that these are standard? Last week it was 5 seconds. Go back to the old style tracks you can’t get away with so much and verstappen is like Schumacher old school and the best driver in F1
Yeah Verstappen is like Schumacher. When it suits you, use the car as a ram.
Yes he’s like Schumacher if you can’t win take your opponent out and that’s exactly what he tried to do today, I hope he tries that with the Mercedes drivers who have nothing to lose.
He's going to try take Norris out each race. His only way to ensure a WDC. If Norris can't finish he can't score.
Huge Max fan but he was out of line in this one. He deserved the penalty. Funny how quickly he gets over them, once he walks away from the track it leaves his mind. He will be world champ this year
It was a calculated risk, he always expected those penalties. Except maybe fewer seconds.

I love Max, but he totally should’ve given the position back and taken the 10 second penalty for pushing Norris off track, likely would’ve finished ahead of the Mercedes

Why should he care? He managed to deny norris an extra 7 points. Max has no care in the world about his driving standards. At the end of the day, he stopped norris winning at all costs, albeit being very dirty.
Exactly, I don't see why no one manages to see this
Norris stopped Norris from winning. He was too slow. It’s that simple. You’re a clown
Which is why he also needs some penalty points on his racing licence for dangerous driving. That is the only way he’ll start to care

Lol you can't be serious😂😂 no way you are speaking highly of Max's character😂😂

Its because he knows the Fia does everything in their power to let a Brit won the wdc. And he is stronger then that. That's why.
LOL
