I've noticed a lot of youtube reactions leave out Kait looking at the monkey bomb head, and the slides of the tower's vents. We all knew you cant kill the cash cow. Then you frame by frame like an insane person to see the pink shimmer path just before the explosion.
YES!!! 100% confirmed by Amanda Overton now.....MADDIE WAS NOXIAN ALL ALONG!!!!!! And I feel so vindicated now that it was also confirmed by the lead writer!!! Maddie was a plant all along!! - Maddie called her "commander" before Ambessa actually named her Commander - Maddie was the first to beat her chest - Pulled from the car-thing during the memorial attack by huge Shimmer suit dude and NOT killed - Maddie was in bed (god that still makes me sick) trying to get Cait to see Ambessa is trying to “protect them” - Maddie was eaves dropping at the door when Cate & Vi had their argument about Powder - Maddie was carrying the bomb…and also sabotaged it - Maddie showed ZERO remorse or hesitation in pulling the trigger Then there is what Ambessa told Vi in Episode 6...."your absence provided a vacuum I was able to fill." She could have been meaning herself...but it is 100% confirmed now that she meant Maddie. Cait wasn’t anything to Maddie…she was a job.
9:19 so the deal with “Maddie” is that she is a Noxian and infiltrated Piltover and the Enforcers around the time Ambessa first arrived in order to get close to Caitlyn because her mother was the head of a very wealthy and influential family as well as a councillor. Her job was to spy on and be ready in case they needed to threaten or send a message to Cassandra. Then when the attack on the council happened and Cassandra died, the plan shifted. That’s why Maddie lied to Vi and acted all heroworshippy (think about it, back then could you really see Cait use her family name to open doors or to threaten anyone? Cause that’s what Maddie said she did) in order to get Vi to stay close and to buddy up a bit. Then she was the first “Piltie” to begin doing the Noxian salute to encourage Cait to become the dictator. After Vi and Cait broke up, she became the rebound in order to be the closest person to Cait and to make sure she didn’t actually turn on Ambessa. If you remember her talking to Cait, she never really pushed for Cait to go against Ambessa only to personally take a step back and she didn’t really push all that hard (she basically was gauging Cait’s mood for Ambessa to know where to push). I personally believe that if Cait had actually made any call to end the alliance with Ambessa and the conflict, Maddie would have shot her with a gun from under her pillow. And when we see her in episode 8 she’s trying to talk Cait into negotiating with Ambessa and then spies on the girls (I believe the sexual relationship between her and Cait ended in episode 4 around the time they were at Cassandra’s memorial statue) and reported to Ambessa to be fully activated. She sabotaged the explosive with the nail before handing it off, and then knocked out Cait. That’s why her personality is so different. The Maddie we’ve seen until then was a fake personality to avoid suspicion. The cold militaristic nature is probably what she’s really like, as well as sadistic because she aims for the base of the skull near the spine (which would paralyse Cait and cause excruciating pain while she would have bled out) instead of the back of the skull for an instant kill… and in the flash of the shot you see her grin maniacally. She is some piece of work and while I am very pleased with her death, I kinda respect how good she was at her job because I went until episode 8 before I suspected her (when she spied on the girls because if she really was the person she pretended to be, she would have just obeyed Cait and then returned to see if she could help)
Also… it’s horribly fitting that out of all the characters, Singed is the one who has a happy ending that isn’t bittersweet. He won. He achieved his goal and Orianna (his daughter, and a playable character in LoL) is alive.
When Cait is asking if Vi is “still in this fight” she’s asking if Vi has been too broken by everything and wants to give up 27:22 and remember what Powder said in season one act one episode 1? That one day she was going to ride on one of the airships… (hint there was a pink shimmer flash right before the explosion, and Cait was checking out the schematics for the hexgate and specifically the ventilation shafts around the spot the explosion happened… also the “Th3 End” flash is in Jinx’s handwriting)
why write your theorys as if they are a fact? That is just your interpretation. Nothing was confirmed. She could have been a spi all along or she could changes teams down the line. Dont get me wrong, your theorie sounds not bad, but its just speculation.
@Scharrer23 it was confirmed that Maddie was Noxian and a sleeper agent put in place to watch Cait from before the attack on the council. Amanda Overton (one of the showrunners) confirmed it as did the VA for the character. It’s not just my theory. There are parts that are speculation, but they are the parts where I say “I think” or “I believe” or “probably” or “maybe”. The rest was confirmed or directly shown but only becomes clear after the twist and the confirmation from the writer and VA that she was Noxian all along.
I really wish people would stop spreading the "she was intending to paralyse her" argument. Look at the size of that bullet. Whether in the back of the skull or the back of the neck, it doesn't matter. That bullet is going to have a large entrance wound, and an even bigger exit wound. Even pointed at her neck, the result is the same: Caitlyn's head is coming right off. Caitlyn would have died instantly regardless of where that rifle was pointed, not end up paralysed or leave her in excruciating pain to slowly die.
The scene with Violet and Caitlyn in the cell was originally longer😅 But they shortened it. Original the longer version is on the hard drive in France. It's great to see that Riot Games gave Fortiche a thumbs up so they didn't overdo it and upset the fan base and their curiosity to see it with the cut.
*“This world is a wasteland, please let me go”,* in the beginning it’s a song about suicide, but with the end HEAVILY implying that Jinx survived and escaped, it’s about how she’s done with everything in Zaun and Piltover and just wants to leave to start a new life. She knew that if Vi knew or even suspected she was alive she would do anything and everything to get back to her sister. But Jinx doesn’t want to burden Vi with having to feel like she had to choose between her and a happy life with Cait, and she knows that if she is to *truly* start healing herself, she needs to do so on her own.
The mom and kid who put the written name of their loved one into the pyre... Are the wife and son of the volunteer who got a crossbow bolt to the neck when he tried to throw the canister of grey during Cait's failed defense. You can see them together bidding each other goodbye on the previous episode when people were being evacuated.

I think I enjoyed the season better than the average opinion out there, it was an improvement on S1 that made me care for the characters, but with the finale I think I'm right in the middle, a lot of it was great but its conclusion, not so much.
"Killing is a cycle." We'll return to Zaun and Piltover in a few years I'm sure, and everything won't suddenly be better because the Glorious Evolution was avoided. There's still a lot of stories to tell here.
its not done. they will make more seasons, but from a different region of the world and new characters. The main storyline between Jinx and Vi is over. They said we will have reunion with some of the known characters though. Probably next will be Noxus
Honestly, I never knew "Dirt under your nails" was an expression before seeing this finale. I feel pretty stupid, because I honestly loved everything this season, except all the stuff between Jayce vs. Viktor that confused me, even after rewatching this season twice. It seems like Jayce & Viktor changed roles & Viktor too quickly became like Ultron who saw humanity as a curse & controlling them was the only way to peace. I get it that Viktor sent him back, but I'm still confused. Apparently, there is a longer conversation and interaction between Ekko and Jinx that was removed. I love the grand entrances some of these characters made in this finale.
My interpretation was that Viktor ruined Piltover in every timeline as a closed time loop, and when Mage Viktor says "only you can show me this" he means only that Jayce, with the Acceleration Rune, would have the chance of reaching out to Ultron Viktor, because that was the only timeline where Ekko inverted the rune and created the Z-Drive (official name of his time machine). In other timelines presumably Ekko was never involved, so Jayce never got the chance to speak to Ultron Viktor and talk him out of it.
I agree, the situation between Jayce and Victor seemed long to me. In fact, Victor starting to collapse due to Ekko's action thanks to a distraction from Jayce would have been magnificent, when Ekko's device begins to collapse in a loop and Jayce grabs it, stopping it. their escape attempt, both of them being consumed while Jayce apologizes for having been so blind to not see the consequences.

- Maddie called her "commander" before Ambessa actually named her Commander
- Maddie was the first to beat her chest
- Pulled from the car-thing during the memorial attack by huge Shimmer suit dude and NOT killed
- Maddie was in bed (god that still makes me sick) trying to get Cait to see Ambessa is trying to “protect them”
- Maddie was eaves dropping at the door when Cate & Vi had their argument about Powder - Maddie was carrying the bomb…and also sabotaged it

Jayce and viktor story still isn't done yet... trust the process... but who knows what the writers are gonna do next
@@hanziggy6862 Not important, but...
I was wondering if that is something German? Because Christian Linke is German and here in Germany we have the expression not to grant someone their black (or the dirt) under their fingernails when you want to describe extreme envy.
@@pabloc8808 yeah, in one of the interviews they confirmed that in every timeline/universe, that Hextech is invented and a machine herald emerges. Only in our timeline with the Acceleration rune was the Arcane stopped.
If you didn't want to play League of Legends on PC.
Then you could play
League of legends wild rift on mobile its better.
Card game Legends of Runeterra where you have even voice lines.
Or Riot Forge Canon lore storytelling games like Ekko Covergence; Viego Ruined King; Nunu and Wilump Song of Nunu; Ziggs and Heimerdinger Hextech Mayhem; Sylas Mageseeker; BandleTale
The League of Legends universe consists of four "dimensions": 1. Void; 2. Celestial; 3. Spirit Realm and 4. Physical in the form of the planet Runeterra,
There are no infinity stones here.
But different types of magic and Runes = Runeterra.
In the very beginning there was only the Void and the Guardians, but then light appeared and reality emerged, which woke the Guardians up, taking away their sleep and ignorance of their own existence, which is why they are trying to destroy it in order to have peaceful peace again.
In reality, death appeared/emerged through the spirit realm in the guise of the gray man/pale man, who later split into two aspects of death, the peaceful death of a lamb and the brutal death of a wolf.
In the universe = Celestial Realm, the Twilight dragons like Aurelion Sol created stars around which planets were formed.
And later, celestial beings and gods began to get involved in the manipulation of reality.
The celestial gods created constellations that served as predictions and guidelines for people and, using the world runes, created the planet Runeterra in one of the regions.
Apparently, they created Spirit Gods like Anivia, Ornn, Volibear,... who reshaped the surface of the planet as we know from the Frerjord legions.
They pulled up part of the earth to create Mount Targon, which serves as the Gate to the Celestial Realm Targon Prime = "Universe".
One of the Celestial Gods, for an unknown reason, later hid the world runes through the Runeters, which over time caused a magical radiation, thanks to which the planet became full of spirits, demons and later created magical beings; Celestial giants; Yordles = Heimerdinger,... from Bandle City, which is in the spiritual realm; Vastayashai'rei (Shapeshifting Spirit Race) + Humans = Vastaya
^
Spirit Race and Humans and then Animalistic Humanoid Races.
Later, the Targions, with the help of the Celestials, created a star metal crown for Aurelion Sol, whom they enslaved and thus forced to listen to the commands of the Celestial Aspects to use their celestial fire
to seal/destroy the Void rifts that the Watchers had created in attempts to penetrate reality and possibly destroy it.
Over time, it is clear that various types of magic have appeared or originated on Runeterra: Celestial, Spiritual, Shadow, Runic, Elemental, Temporal, Necronic, Blood,...
Runeterra is supposed to serve as a place where super powerful beings of Ascended Celestial Aspects = Celestial Demigods are to be created, for example, a person ascends to the top of Mount Targon and one of the Celestials chooses him as a suitable host.
Or in Shurima, with the help of the Sun Disc, I reflect celestial magic into the chosen people to create the Ascended Shuriman golden god warriors, where some failed and were created Baccai = Ramus and others were Ascended Sunborn Nasus, Renekton,... And later their fragments were created after the battle in the Darkins void.
All of this is intended to serve as a defensive shield against the Void and its watchers, who seek to destroy reality by creating rifts in the Void through which voidmakers and monsters can pass, devouring and destroying.
Or by controlling and corrupting the minds and bodies of beings on Runeterra.
do you really want to hate Maddie, at the moment she fired the rifle at Catlin head. The gun flash reveals something. Go back to that scene please.
