    Great video!
    It was explained to me that the reason they removed wifi was more down to transmitting it within the ship - generally speaking large metal boxes (with compartments designed to entirely seal themselves off) are difficult to transmit wifi signals throughout - without requiring tons of boosters/access points. Not sure how much validity there is to this! But it made sense to me.

      Select sailings are direct to Salt Spring before the milk run. I took the 5:15pm sailing

    The Salish class ferries do not serve White Spot burgers, which is probably why the burger wasn't as good as you were expecting.

    (1) How you think the Crofton ferry terminal, is anywhere close to Nanaimo?(2) The problem for visitors to Vancouver Island, especially in Nanaimo, is if your not driving, & you need to get to certain remote areas like Crofton, WHERE IS VIA RAIL/BC TRANSIT FOR COMMUTER TRAINS?

    • @nonrevmax
      @nonrevmax  2 месяца назад +2

      Crofton is closer to Nanaimo than Swartz Bay.. not really anymore options than that in terms on getting to Vancouver Island on the ferry...

      @@nonrevmax IT IS TO MY UNDERSTANDING THAT IF THE DRIVE FROM CROFTON TO NANAIMO IS ESTIMATE ONE HOUR, THAT MEANS IT IS NOT CLOSE-BY, NOR SWARTZ BAY!

    B.C. Ferries where the seats are purposely made to prevent you from being able to sleep during the voyage. Modern phones have alarms and the onboard announcements are loud enough to wake you before arrival at your destination Take a lesson from Japanese ferries where passenger comfort is number one. I lived on a gulf island 15 years I know the lack of customer comfort.
