Love the tour of Mustang. Once, during rough conditions , I got knocked off the boat during a 'chute set by an overly excited mid-bow crewman. My Mustang auto inflating PFD did its job perfectly or I wouldn't be here to post this comment. Love their products. Great video as always!!

I'm an American living in Taiwan. I am new to your channel and I love it so much. IKEA is where we eat for holidays. Christmas Day I took the kids to eat at IKEA and had an amazing crusted ham and mashed potatoes. I love seeing you guys go there.

Wow, so glad you and your beloved RAN are okay, what a scary start to the day...this video had so much packed into it! Vancouver is a spectacular city, so cool to see it by bike! So interesting to go with you to the PFD/ foul weather gear manufacturing facility too! Will always smile and send you good thoughts when I see IKEA now! Safe journey!

Great Vid guy's. Nice to see that despite the incident you went and helped and did not make a drama in to a crisis. We got hit last year and it did cause damage. But, staying cool it makes the situation less stressful and you can then sort it out. Never panic! Sail safe. Ant and Cid xx

Wow! More memories... I used to live in Vancouver, on the North side of False Creek. Every weekend I'd go shopping at the Granville Island Market and just tour around... The Floating Village was one of my favorites... Close to the market is a fantastic Sailing School, which offers courses Up to and including Captains License. As part of the course students will sail out to the Gulf Islands for several days. Then, over next to Stanley Park is the "Royal Vancouver Yacht Club". I was expecting you two to drop in there for lunch or something...Oh! And there is the Tea House in Stanley Park, overlooking English Bay... I'll shut up now :-)

Your videos are very interesting & filled with good stuff. I enjoy watching them. Your trip through the Panama Canal was an education, seen other sailors try the Cape Horn route, so this was great to see, and you met so many great people. good luck on your sailing adventures.

Derelict boats are a big problem in Vancouver and Victoria. We lived in False Creek for 4 years aboard our C&C 32 in the 80s. We paid livaboard licence fees and taxes. Great times when we were your ages.
Now homeless people have to live on anything that floats because if you can't afford a $1500 studio apartment in the city, you're on the street.
Enjoyed your video. Thanx and happy sailing to you.

Nice gear . Didn’t know about Mustang. One item in your video you missed, and it’s a local phenomena, was the sulfur pile. I believe there was a brief view of it when the float plane took off. It’s a local thing , not a tourist thing. It’s across the harbor on the north side. Nice to see YVR.

Maybe start a lobby for only the affluent to be permitted in harbors, or not allow any boat registration unless they're over $1000/ft. The free mooring obviously creates a problem.
