At the beginning of the pandemic I found your channel and splurged the whole week watching EVERYTHING. This video is awesome just like the others, makes me want to get out of the house NOW. Please keep uploading, great editing and content!
Karl, thank you for this video. I'm a British expat hailing from the town of Northallerton. I haven't been home in over 1 year due to the pandemic, but this video was exactly the tonic I needed. Thank you so much for making this and making this Yorkshireman get a bit sentimental and happy inside. Good effort on the accent from your pal too.
Hi Karl. Thanks for this great video of the Yorkshire Dales. I never realized that there were such mountainous areas inland in the UK. I sure would like to come back to the UK and explore these places I missed before. Sorry that the weather was so cool, I missed those legs of yours. 😄
The Green Dragon is also being used for pub scenes in the current C5 version of "All Creatures Great & Small". It's just up the road from where I live. Great video btw!
North Yorkshire and the Lake District have the most stunning scenery in the world. Janets Foss is beautiful 🧚🏻♂️🧚🏼♀️🧚🏻Proud to be a Yorkshire lass 🌳🌿🍀🍁🍂🌺🌼
It’s a very nice circular route walk from Aysgarth Falls to Bolton Castle and back. A truly stunning area of scenery. Wensleydale. Foreign visitors often do London, maybe Edinburgh. Yorkshire is wonderful. Cities like Leeds and York. The Dales. The Yorkshire Coast. And the best fish and chips on the coast in the World.
I love the dales and lakes. I think it’s great to show people that we in England have some beautiful places to visit, however I must admit I don’t tell anyone because I’m a little selfish and want to keep it to myself 😊
@KarlWatson. Amazing views Karl. Thank you for highlighting the waterfalls and the wild flowers 🌸. I’m nostalgic and sad 😢. I still can’t go home to the Phil’s due to the Virus 🦠
Such a stunning part of the UK. It's crept onto my bucket list of late, but the movie locations were especially stunning, but Ingleborough was very pretty too! Very enjoyable video to watch! 🙏
nice to see you again karl, and thanks for the memory of robin hood my chilhood movies, thanks for mentioning philipines coz im from here, you think of falls yeah godbless
Great video as always Karl! It has to be said scrambling up the waterfall at Gordale Scar is easier than it looks! And there is a second waterfall above the first which is just as amazing :D
Again I enjoyed the format and the adventure, I have been to Yorkshire and Peak district a few times but never actually been on the walk to these places,So if I can get there on my own I might even try some of those walks,, albeit slowly lol well done enjoyable and again different from those which went before making them interesting .
Loved it Karl. Robin Hood Prince of Thieves was one of my favourite movies as a kid and I instantly recognised the scenes. Shame non of it was actually filmed in Sherlock Forest but there you go.
Brilliant as always Karl. I've spent so much time in all those places before emigrating (as am from Yorkshire). You are making me homesick now haha. Looking forward to the Manchester/Peak district one next as will be good to see James and you together. Peace out :-)
Just found your channel a couple of days ago...absolutely loving it. As a Canadian I'm loving the fact that you guys are wearing Bryan Adams T-Shirts in this Episode...he's my favourite Artist. Looking foward to watching all your Videos...Cheers from Edmonton 🇨🇦🍻🍺😊
Absolutely lovely! I am a dental surgeon and I plan on working in the Yorkshire Dales. Any small town you'd recommend? I love living in the countryside.
@@karlwatsondocs I thought as much 😂 although I must say… one of the few good things to come from Covid is the place has had a break from the tourists and is looking so much nicer than it did 18 months ago. In all seriousness though, great video. Really enjoyed it and I’ve always tended to head towards the Lakes so this may sway me to give Yorkshire *cough* a go 👍🏻
i love how england has public footpaths that cut through, what i assume, are private farm fields? i wish that was the case here in the u.s. more often. we have national parks and all but theres so much beautiful countryside that you can only see from the road. i think some of the appalachian trail and perhaps others have some cut throughs through private property but its definitely not common. there used to be a small waterfall near my hometown that was beautiful and on private land. the owner used to not mind ppl coming out there as long as they kept it clean and were respectful. of course word eventually got out and morons started going out there and partying all hours of the day and leaving trash so now its gated and he will call the police if you trespass. such a shame.
Loved the “you must never go there, Simba” moment about Lancashire.
Can’t wait for the weekend break in Blackpool 😂
Haha don’t hold your breath 😉
This was never in my bucket list. 😮 I don’t know why!! Because not much ppl know. Thanks so much ❤️❤️😍

Malham cove is stunning! Which month was it when you went there? The greenery is captivating. Thanks for sharing, Karl.
Hey, no need for that personal attack on Lancashire 😂
It wasn’t a “personal” attack…it was aimed at the whole county:-)
I didn’t say shit 😜
Yorkshire ❤️ Superb for climbers 😊
6:25 Paddy Doyle’s older brother lol 😂🙏

Haha nice one. Yeah gonna be a lot of places like that in the world that have had a much needed break from over tourism.
Very nice UK.
You were in West Burton and didn't see Cauldron Falls ? I'll put that down as a fail ! 😉
