Taurus 605 Polymer .357 Magnum Revolver - One Year Later! I'm Still Not Impressed!

- The Taurus Protector Poly is a good revolver but there are certainly better options available. It shoots great but I have two complaints with my polymer magnum revolver.
This revolver was made for get off me close quarters. In many self defense situations, 5 rds of 357 should give you some space between perp and you. Reloads are not that important as long as you can handle the recoil and with adrenaline pumping, you will. Also, like you say, 357 is loud and that will definitely help put some fear into anyone.
I've had my 605 poly for about 5 years and the only issues I've had was a loosened ejector rod and some steel 357 magnum ammo that I got when I bought the gun and they were sticking in the cylinder. Any brass ammo I've never had stick. My trigger is much smoother now. Always good shooting and fun to watch , have a good day
👍
Vende um TAURUS desse pra mim?
Never shoot steel in a revolver. It all sticks and is never fun to get out

When you said "its smooth but heavy" it took me back to the days when gun reviews were done for the gun and. Ot for the theatrics that everyone is doing now. Thank you sir for doing a legit gun review and not some movie.
Amen!, Clapping is heard at this time!
I have owned one for over five years and it was my EDC for almost four years. When I first got it I noticed the point of impact was off from the point of aim by about five inches low and right at about 15 feet. After trying numerous ammo types and combinations I sent it back to Taurus for inspection and repair. They returned it to me after a few weeks and from then on its point of aim and point of impact were spot on. Way to go Taurus! Also after a thousand or so rounds the double action REALLY smoothed out and it became a real pleasure to shoot. I would shoot it almost weekly in order to keep my muscle memory sharp. Over the time that I carried it I put close to 9000 rounds of my 38 spl +P reloads through it due to my very regular practice with it. After several years of this I noticed I was getting some splashback across my cheeks while shooting it. Upon closer inspection it appeared as if the cylinder had gotten out of time. After this much use I wasn't terribly surprised. However, this time Taurus wouldn't fix it under warranty due to my shooting reloads through it and wouldn't even provide an estimate without a $50 dollar "bench fee". Now it just sits in my safe. I suppose I got my moneys worth and that's that.
Thanks for the information, Matthew. I appreciate it and I'm sure a lot of my viewers will too.
@@mixup98 ... Beware, someone just sent me a reply, pretending to be you and your son, claiming I won something and sends me a # to txt them! I won't fall for it!... I've reported it to RUclips, has an area code of (314) and cannot see the rest...

@@katieb777 Thanks! It's a '66 Chevy Malibu. Been in my family for 56 years!
I would think that after almost 9000 rounds you did your money's worth, and then some. Most of us would probably never get to that point, so the Poly would render more than adequate service.
I had a Poly 605 around 6 years ago...sold it to my Dad because he fell in love with it. And yes, that DA pull is horribly long and heavy to this day. We measured it at just over 13 lbs a few weeks ago while my Smith 442 Airweight comes in at 8.9 lbs and is super crisp.
Hello Anthony. A 13-pound trigger pull is excessive, and Taurus should have fixed this problem years ago.
@@mixup98 the very first version of this revolver had a 8.5 pound trigger pull but this newer version is beyond bad. Come on Taurus!
I have never sold anything to my dad. I give.
@@tjacb123456 most Ruger gp100 are around 15 pound trigger pull.
Hard to argue with the power of the .357, even out of the short barrel.
All bark... The 357 has no more power from a short barrel than a 9mm.

I took advice purchased GP100 Rugar almost new 357 cal. Love it already
Awesome! You can never go wrong with a Ruger GP100!
I also grabbed a GP100 Wiley Clapp a few years ago when I worked at a gun store. It's a beast, but it's definitely my favorite revolver. 😁
The Taurus 605 you featured today would be a budget-friendly EDC choice for people who are fond of wheelguns. And as you recommended, modifying the left grip panel would be a good idea.
Late to the party but I’m always stoked to see a new video from my favorite YT channel! Have held that position for years now!!👍🏻😎👍🏻
Great to hear! My son and I went out this morning and made a shotgun video, which will be posted on Thursday or Friday. Thank you so much for the nice comment 👍🤠 👍😎

Yes sir, mighty fine shooting. I’ve been watching all Summer but no comments, just enjoy your Lake Mead videos and you digging around for treasures. Hi to your Son.
I've had my 605 for about 1 year now . Put everything through it but the hottest 357 loads. Handles everything just great and has been my backup truck gun ever since.

This revolver is based on the 651 model hence the semi shrouded hammer. The trigger pull can be lightened on the trigger pull by dry firing it with snap caps. Also, lubing up each side of the hammer. It's a good shooter once they're broken in. I just picked up the 692 which has both .357/.38 Spl and the 9mm cylinder. 🎩♠️🎱🎯🇺🇲🏁🌻🇺🇦🔱🌼💮🌸👊🔫
Are you enjoying the 692? Any probs or concerns with the revolver so far? Was it more of a novelty & a bust in your opinion, or worth it? Always wanted to try one.
@@thereindeertherabbitthebat592 it's very nice. I haven't had any issues with mine so far. The moon clips you get are flimsy for the 9mm, but you can use a .30-06 shell to twist off the empties or a shell demooner tool. It's worth it because it has a comp built in.
@@thereindeertherabbitthebat592 you can purchase polymer moon clips for the range and SS ones for field use in 9mm. Many options with this weapon even 7 shot HKS speed loaders 587A.
have the same one, pawn shop pick up hella deal on it, have it for lil over two years now never had any issues, I don't keep speed loaders, I prefer speed strips lay flat in the pocket. Ammo .357 is Winchester 110g silver tip HP, or Remington 110g SJHP, Corbon 110g HP, or hornady 125g XTP FOR .38SPL I only use federal HST 130g HP. It's a great lil pocket rocket . Couldn't pass it up for 225.00 it's my only revolver in my collection. I couldn't be happier 😊😊
I actually like the look of this revolver. The matte black color gives it a menacing look. Sights are great. I could do without the Protector Poly large writing on top but other than that..I think your revolver is pretty cool. Adios amigo & thanks.
Agreed. Nice piece of tape might help that.
@@DinoNucci I took jb weld and filled the lettering up, and scraped it even. Then colored it with aluminum black.. there is a slight color difference.. in hindsight I'd use a different shade of black.. but you gotta be in the light to notice it and the recoil has never shook the " filling" loose
@@thealarmclock9307 I'd just buy a different revolver and that would resolve the problem
Muy bien
I have a Taurus 605 but it is the steel version. I only paid about $300 for it and it seems to be a MUCH better .357 snubby than the 605 Poly Protector. A little heavier in the pocket (about 24 ounces) but it shoots real nice with .38 specials +P and .357 magnum loads.
Did you know that here in Brazil, Taurus CEO, Salésio Nuhs, wrote a letter to our government recommending that Brazilians be disarmed and no longer have the right to bear arms, even though the Brazilian people are almost being enslaved by a socialist dictatorship with its new ruler Lula ? And that Lula has connections with the Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, narco criminal, with Vladimir Putin, Daniel Ortega, and several other current tyrants? Lula wants to disarm us Brazilian and Taurus collaborates with the disarmament. If you appreciate freedom, DO NOT BUY TAURUS GUNS AND AMMO FROM CBC! If you ask me why, it's the good old lobby with the new government, which buys ammunition, in addition to market control in Brazil, to prevent competitors from arriving in Brazil.
Nothing beats solid steel.
My father - was a deputy sheriff - carried a s&w FBI Special in .357 mag with a 3" barrel as his on duty weapon and a s&w model 14 Navy as his off duty weapon
I have three 856s.....2 stainless and 1 black. I put Pachmayr Renegade G10 grips on stainless and Pachmayr Renegade laminated rosewood on the other two. For the $300ish dollar range they are a very good value and perfect for cheap beaters to hide and tuck around.
"Protector Poly"
Sounds like something I would leave in my parrot's cage if I were going to be away overnight.
Or perhaps a Tactical version of Polly Pocket
Always a pleasure MIXUP , it was 62 degrees here in Montgomery when I left for work this morning at 4:15 am ,

Good morning Tom. Believe it or not it is 68 degrees right now and my son and I are going to spend the day at Lake Mead fishing, kayaking and swimming. Life is good. 👍🤠 👍😎
Thank you for the great review. I have this same revolver. It's been a very reliable firearm. The only problem I had was after a few months I noticed that my cylinder was hanging up on the forcing cone. The gap was literally non-existent. I noticed that there was a little plastic plug on the crane that covers the attaching screw. I checked it,and sure enough it was loose. I tightened it up and everything has been great since.
Thanks again for all your hard work.
Daniel C
Hello Daniel. If my crane screw ever comes loose and ties up the cylinder I will make a video showing my viewers how to correct the problem. Thanks for the information as I'm sure it will come in handy in the future.
Thanks for the review and for venturing out into the heat to shoot for us.
I bought one from the local pawnshop, put a box of rounds down range...loved the way it fit my hand, loved the way it handled, AND it was accurate, the problems showed up the second time at the range...the cylinder just flat out locked up after 10 rounds finally got it open and unloaded...took it back to pawnshop and traded for a sd9ve...LOVE IT !!!!
Great review. I have the 605, but it's a steel 3 inch size with the minimal rear unmarked sights and the front nuclear sights (tridium). It also has the grip that interferes with one or two casings when you empty it. The only problem I had with it was on the right side of the frame below the cylinder. The screw that holds the cylinder arm came loose and I almost lost it. It only has two threads so trying to cinch it back down is hard. So far smearing some thread lock on it has kept it in place.
So you like plastic or solid steel?
@@Jeremyho439 Well they have their ups and downs. I do like steel as the weight helps with recoil. But, plastic is lighter for EDC.
I have a Taurus 605 steel revolver and it's great - none of those problems and shoots right to point of aim - very accurate too I might add. It is the black steel and the finish is wearing a bit - I guess that's the only dis I have on it.
Thanks for this review.
As a gun enthusiast FROM BRAZIL, I would like to tell you that I didnt even knew about the existence of this revolver.
Its made in Brazil but NEVER sold here (I'm quite sure about it)
Great review. I'm surprised that Taurus didn't think to shape the grips to accommodate the ejection of the casings. That was a big miss on their part.
I think the NEW CEO will phase it out....
I want a Taurus 327 in 3 in....
They TEASED it but haven't produced any!!!
@@jpb1231000 Yeah 6 rounds instead of 5 and it still hits hard. 327mag is a very interesting cartridge.
@@charlesdudek7713 modern .32 caliber and even .22 LR have come a long way. Not only that but we have so much information and many of have so much practice, (static and dynamic) that a very large number of us are quite capable even with these “weak” calibers. (.327 Federal is definitely no slouch and is every bit as powerful as hot 9mm and .38+P and some loading’s approach weaker .357 magnum but with far less recoil even in small guns).
@@john-paulsilke893 Yep you are preaching to the choir on that one. I am a trained and experienced shooter. However I haven't had personal experience with the 327mag but I have read and watched videos on it and agree it is a very good cartridge. As for .22 lr, I wouldn't want to stand in front of one. There are some qualities of that cartridge that make it an acceptable choice for home defense, especially in a rifle.
Props to you sir for handling this beast, i shot my steel 605 today and man.. i hadn't shot in awhile and forgot punishing some of those magnum loads can be. Especially the underwood stuff, keep up the good work. Been following your channel for nearly a decade. It has been a fun ride!

I bought mine last year and I recently tried to change out the grip to a smaller grip (which was included) but when i do that, the screw that tightens the grip is now to long because of the smaller grip.. i would really prefer the smaller grips BUT the grip screw goes in too deep (because of smaller grip) and when it goes in too deep it locks the trigger/hammer any ideas or pointers??? Another great video sir! When you first shot this firearm I wanted to go out and shoot one and have yet to do so. I actually like the look as it seems "solid". I'd still like to try it out for myself but I trust your reviews as always and will have a weary eye with this one. Keep up the great work!
Hey you are right. One hell of a summer. I live in Kingman and we have hell of rain and flooding this summer. Glad the weather is breaking. Great video as always. Keep up the good work.
Love the honest review Mixup, I agree with you about prefering an all steel revolver over a polymer one.
Love mine, has a hard trigger but it's a great little snubby.
I had a 2 inch snubby which I got rid of and replaced it with the defender 3". Had one minor problem with the shells getting stuck after shooting. Took it to my local gun smith and he smooth out the cylinder. Its a beauty to shoot now. I have ran some 357 rounds through it and there has been no problems since. It does pack a wallop alright. Sure will make a some one behave if they doing wrong.
@@tonyrebel63 that's great, i've never had an issue with mine. Except when shooting winchester 158grn, seems like the primers are a bit wonky on those. 357 is such a great pistol format, works with a variety of rounds and calibers, packs a punch. Definitely my favorite caliber.

Polly Pocket. Great extended review. You always give an honest review. I like your target set up. I have an old pair of crutches and I jam them in the sand and put a metal bar between then and hang the plates on the bar with some cheap bunjis. Just a little tip if anybody has some crutches laying around.
Just had my third range session with my poly protector 605. For the amateur I am, I was very accurate at 5 and 7 yards in single action. Not so in double action. I also didn’t see that much of a difference shooting plus P in single action accuracy.
The revolver looks great. Great grips. The only complaint is extraction of shells getting hung up on the grip.
For the price, I’m very pleased with it. This review helps.
Hello James. It takes a lot of practice to get good at shooting a revolver double action, which is very expensive due to the high cost of ammo. I am glad to hear that you are pleased with your revolver and I thank you for taking the time to watch and comment on my video.
.357 magnum +p?
I’ve had my eye on 357 revolver lightweight, and need one to fit a low budget. the result is I haven’t bought one yet. Glad I watched your video so I can continue to not spend any money. I’ll make due with my Glock 43x for now.
Can’t believe it’s been a year already! Thanks for the video, Mixup!
Yep, I’m with ya. It’s functional, reliable, minor glitches can be fixed, but ya just can’t love the homely thing.
I bought one of these about two years ago. I was annoyed by two things. First, the ball plunger crane lock was incorrectly installed. Thus, the threaded plunger housing interfered with the frame, making it difficult to open the cylinder. I removed it, applied some blue Loctite and reinstalled it, adjusting the depth to function as intended. My second issue was the grip interfering with cartridge case extraction. I removed the grip and recontoured the grip, blending the edges. This solved that issue. After a lot of use, the trigger loosened up. It's still right at 12 pounds DA, 3 lb, 14 oz SA. Overall, it a very serviceable revolver, especially for the cost. Like yours, it shoots a bit high, but at very close range, that really isn't an issue. It isn't much lighter than the steel 605, which causes me to wonder why Taurus even bothered to develop it. I own two other Taurus revolvers, and the excellent GX4 micro compact 9mm. All have been trouble free, accurate and great value for the price.
Many years of revolver shooting taught me to use my left index finger to pop the ejector rod, and as I let it up I spin the cylinder with my left thumb. It always help clear the cylinder for faster reloads with standard and large size revolvers, and with small frames it is really helpful for that same reason. I have a model 85 Taurus that can also hang up ejecting the rounds, right in the same spot because of the grip. I agree about metal. Polys are nice and light, but the kick is not worth it. Even in 38 +P it is a jolt. And I do not believe you could use a 180 grn buffalo bore (or equivalent handload) with that gun. The bullet jump from recoil on the rest of the chambers of that lightweight gun could easily pop bullets out of the cases enough to keep the cylinder from rotating. So it would not be the best woods carry, which is what I use 357 magnum for.
Wow! That looks fun. We'd never be able to get something like that in Chinada. Thanks for sharing 👍🤠
Good point on the ejection problem.
Good review Mixup 98 (as usual 👍👍👍) I actually looked at purchasing one back in the day when I was looking into a lightweight.38/.357 revolver…but after comparing the double action trigger pull of the Taurus to the Ruger LCR…I opted for the Ruger in .38 Special even at its higher price point…I’ve not looked back on that decision 👍👍👍…even the Ruger LCR has a little “closeness” issue when using certain J frame 5 shot speed loaders…I have settled on the Bianchi speed strips which pocket carry and work well (beware of some of the cheaper strips as they are molded of stiffer polymer and don’t work as well)…a little practice loading two at a time from the strip followed by the one left will surprise you with it’s quickness 😊😊😊
Love my LCR.
Great self-defense gun for concealed carry during archery. Light in weight. Still packs a punch.
I am a late night weekend rideshare driver. I like the heavy trigger pull on this gun and I would never reload it in a gun fight. I carry a full size semiautomatic on my hip but it is hard to access with the center console and seatbelt in the car. I picked up this little revolver to slide under my leg for quick and easy access. If I empty the revolver it will buy me time to get to my gun on my hip. With the price and size of this gun it is absolutely perfect for my intended use. I like a cheap reliable gun like this that can be tossed into the glove box or door pocket or even the tackle box when I go fishing. I dont need one of my more expensive guns for this.
i Have a taurus .45 /. 410 revolver it SHOOTS EVERYTIME! thats a definite + when it comes to revolvers they FIREEVERYTIME they DONT jamup on ya like semiautomatics do !
I’m a new gun owner and I love your videos .
You're killing that Dodge pickup shell !
I’ve got a Taurus Poly but it’s 38Special. +Ps OK. Been good shooter. Rarely carry but take to range almost every trip. Either it or Rem 380 start every session. No M&P, Ed Brown, Para, Glock etc comes out of bag until 5 in 10 ring from 15 yards. Great practice. Then big boys are simple to hit with. Was not looking for snubby.
I have few Smith/Ruger wheel guns that I love. In 2015 this was on sale at PSA for $99 after rebate. Can’t pass that up.
Never failed to fire. Would feel much better with Poly in hand as opposed to Johnson if ducus hits the fan.
Dude is so chill in that Nevada heat.
👍😎👍
weird my DA pull is only 8 1/2. 5 years will take down that spring i guess. best backpack gun I've ever owned. bought it used so someone may have had some work done to it.
Taurus messed up a bit on that grip/ejection problem. Plus, 18 Oz is a bit heavy. The S&W 340/360PD is only 11.5 Oz, but it’s a $900 gun. Big difference in price.
I loved the way you disposed of that scarecrow!
Yeah, that was a fun video and I loved blowing up that homemade scarecrow 👍😁
I've had one of these for years, my only .357 mag & I love it!🇺🇸
I've had my 605 for a year or two. I don't carry it often. When I do it is as a backup gun of last resort. I have no complaints other than trying to find an appropriate (leftie) range holster. I ended up having two made by a local leather shop.
I like the looks of it, looks comfortable in the hand. In my area you don't find many Taurus revolvers.
I have this pistol also. As a disabled vet the trigger pull is a little stiff for me in single action. It's a very durable and reliable piece though. I have a nice composite holster that fits like a glove.
What power!!!! In the palm of your hand
Always enjoy your videos. Knowledge and experience that is good. You have a nice place to shot.
Hello Robert. Thank you for the compliment. I do indeed have a nice place to shoot and I'm glad I live in Nevada. Stay safe and thanks for watching our videos.
My preferred side arm is a .357 mag with Rem8ngton Golden Sabers in brass jacket hollow points- mt most favorite is a s&w model 681 but u cant buy those new anymore and current owners don't sell them very often except for way to high an asking price- also s&w model 65 is my #2 choice
Thank you, Gentlemen. I'm researching right now because I am about to get a Revolver in 357.
Good idea, I always wear inners and outers when I'm shooting the higher pressure pistol rounds, shotgun and most rifles bigger than 5.56. Once you're hearing is gone, fellers, it's usually for good, which is bad!
I never thought till you all mentioned good plan
I just got a regular 605 and I love it. Found a cheap holster. Great shoot
Always look forward to your reviews. Man the Taurus 605 on magnum rounds has quite a kick to it but packs a wallop! Love the honesty in your showcasing. Keep it coming.
Thank you sir for your reviews. I have this (poly) and an SS one. I am hoping to find a video on how to disassemble and re-assemble this firearm (Poly). So far, besides (to me) complicated author supplied instructions (not yours), I have not seen any videos on this, and I have heard it is a pain to disassemble (Poly). If that description is accurate, this might explain the lack of videos on that subject. I have lived in the desert (Edwards AFB) and your beautiful background scenery is simply, awesome. I noticed you beamed in, but walked out to your A/C equipped vehicle. I suppose it arrived while the video was in production? 😅
Good morning John. I have been taking guns apart since the mid '70s and honestly, I'm pretty good at it. I have tried to disassemble my Poly and I can't seem to figure it out. Apparently special tools and experience are needed to disassemble this revolver, which is why there aren't any videos here on youtube. It would be nice if Taurus would upload a disassembly video but I'm sure they won't.
@@mixup98 Thank you sir for your video and comment on the Poly. I plan on contacting Taurus to ask them directly on how to do it. Wish me luck.

I looked for the 605 Poly for almost a year and couldn’t find one available anywhere. Mind you this was during the bulk of the Pandemic. I did however pick up the 905 9mm and I absolutely enjoy shooting that one. My only complaint is that I can’t seem to find a carrier for the moon clips and hate having them in my pocket putting the moon clips at risk of being damaged.
For an IWB holster I recommend Tulster. I have a 605 Stainless and their holster is great. It's even ambi, which is great for a lefty like me.
I've had mine for @2 years. A dab of crazy glue on the front sight will keep that insert from disappearing..I use plus P ammo in it.

Dude at Academy told me a year ago don’t buy one they usually get returned for repairs, usually problems with cylinder binding up. I passed

Bought a 605 poly missed a snubby revolver it's very comfortable to carry and hits what I am aiming at.
Only complaint is the heavy double action.
I love the Taurus Judge 36m is a five shot revolver designed and produced by Taurus international.
I removed the grip and took a sharp blade to remove a portion. That so those empty shells fall out. Wife keeps this in her nightstand. Fun to shoot and easy to handle. I like the grips that come with this revolver.
Same here. I prefer stainless steel frames too.

Intro fade-in was awesome 🤣🤟
Great review, as always. I am so much on the fence about this gun. I don’t own a revolver except for some black powder handguns. I can’t afford a Smith, but the Taurus is affordable. My dilemma…get the .38 sp in steel, or, for the same price, the .357 mag in poly? Help!
Well, I beat ya to getting the Poly. Its my first revolver as well and I haven't shot it yet, but I will do so in a couple of days. He's right in that the trigger pull is HEAVY! I saw on another video that Hague makes a grip that will allow you to use speed loaders, but I'd like to try the other grip that comes w/the gun first. We'll see. I will definitely practice with the .38 rounds before I even bother trying to shoot the .357
I’m a first time revolver owner and picked the 605 poly. Love the hammer design. Easy to pull for single action. What sold me was the grip. Try holding various revolvers. I did and the poly felt like part of my hand. Single action very accurate as the trigger pull is light and fantastic. Double action not so much with its 13lbs pull. Need to practice for sure.
Holsters are hard to find but I ended up getting a inexpensive one that works great.
Great video, I wish we can have these fancy handguns here in the Popular Republik of Canada 🍁, Cheers from Calgary 👍
Cheers from southern Nevada 👍😎
I like this one and will buy if the improvements are made.👍
I love my little 357 snub nose Torres It's an older one It fits perfect right in my back pocket
I have 2 of these. I used to be into carrying snubbies and these were really affordable at the time, I think I paid $250 for the first one and $300 for the second. I mostly used 38 spl in them, not due to the recoil as I am a recoil junkie but more so due yo safety and durability concerns. I dont know how many rounds of full house 357 these would stand up to before the top strap seperated from the rest of it. I have shot 357 out of them though, and safety concerns aside they both functioned fine. My 2 examples are also accurate. I kind of feel like this model just isnt meant for high round counts, more of a last resort, emergency kind of weapon.
I totally agree 👍😎
I have the 38+P Poly & it is a problem with the grip edge on loading or unloading. I did take a little off the edge of the grip. On speedloading try the Zeta6 J-clip-R which is for an LCR but works great on the Poly. Just use your thumb to peel the loader back off rounds. Also the LCR metal loader from Ruger - red base - does better than other metal ones. You don't hardly notice carrying a Poly but you know when you touch one off. Good video. Thanks & stay safe. 🇺🇸 🙏 👍
10:49 Yes, sir! Looks like it's gone from 113 degrees right down to cold, clouds, and snow! That was quite the squall you stirred up there. Twelve pound-plus DA trigger pull sounds a bit heavy. I wonder if it can be lightened some. I'd think maybe 8-9 lbs. would work. That would still be twice as heavy as the SA pull. Looks like it's capable of holding up its end of the bargain at appropriate distances as long as the operator does his/her job behind the sights. I get to fire a Taurus 805 from time to time. It also does a good job at what it's made to do. Nice follow-on to your earlier Poly video. Stay safe out there. Don't get stuck in the late summer snow.
I've got one, I like it, and it is SS. And great video. The special effects in the beginning are clean!
The equivalent Charter Arms snubnose is the same price. Which one would you recommend?
I have some experience with Charter Arms (CA) revolvers as I own two of them, a .38 Undercover and a .44 Special Bulldog. I had to send my new Bulldog back to CA for repairs, which was very frustrating. Honestly, I would recommend the Taurus.
I’ve had mine for 5 years or so and no issues. Cross Breed makes a nice holster for it for around $80 if I remember correctly.
When you appeared i literally said " in sunny Nevada " lmao
Great shooting...love from Mizoram
Thank you my friend and love from the United States.
I'll stick with my SP101 Thanks. The extra weight is hardly noticeable with the better trigger and shootability.
In case you missed it here is the video review I made on my Ruger SP101: ruclips.net/video/SwMncyQbchU/видео.html
I put some 45 dollar Pachmyr fiberglass resin? grips on my SP101. In my experience, 158 grain .357 fmj's aren't bad at all. That's out of a 2 and 1/4 inch barrel.
I enjoy shooting my SP101. I pocket carry it on some morning walks.
