- this is a tour of the student apartment where me and my husband lived for two years before moving to norway.
- the video was filmed right before we moved out so that’s why it looks kinda empty.
- lastly, i’d just like to point out that not all student apartments look like this. we feel extremely lucky to have been able to live in such a beautiful place that’s also located super close to the city centre. good times, good vibes!

Thanks always for your quick response @busayo; however, please I just received an update concerning my housing application with HOAS that my application has been approved but I will need to wait for an offer of which the waiting period can not be ascertain for now (according to them). But please from your experience,when is it likely for me to expect an offer so that I can pay for it particularly because of this fluctuations in foreign exchange jare.

Hello! Thanks for your reply. Are you an exchange student? This is what I can find on their website: ”Hoas is making offers for the exchange student apartments twice a year. For autumn, we make offers during June-July, and for spring during November-December.” So if you haven’t recieved an offer by the end of July I think you should contact them. Good luck with your apartment hunt! ☺️

I payed just under 1000€ per month. The rent for student apartments are lower than regular apartments in Helsinki. 🌊

for this price In Vuosaari you could have big bright flat with large windows (in bathroom also), balcony with 2 separate rooms and separate kitchen😀
It will be near parks and forests, In a quiet place😃 10 min from metro
