- Elias and I had plans to hit a specific spot but the weather told us otherwise. We worked our way out and were catching great fish until the sea sickness kicked in and took over. We decided to move back in a few miles to avoid the high current and waves and explored new bottom offshore, finding a couple of new marks that produced great fish. Here is our day!

Nice day out. Try walking in place when tying lures, looking down, etc. Even if you are sitting, before you get sick or as soon as you start feeling it. Seems to work for sea sickness. Worse case scenario you get some excercise in.
It always seems to get me when the current and wind are in opposite directions, doing what I call the washing machine with the surface water.
Can’t wait for grouper to open
I just want to chum up a Cobia more than anything at the moment. Haha
Nice work! Glad you got through the sea sickness!
Thanks brotha! It took me two days to get back to normal. Haha.
Man you’re a champ for staying out while sea sick. That’s a terrible feeling
That’s actually the first time I’ve ever been able to manage coming down from the extreme queesy feeling. If it wasn’t for getting out of the current/against wave action, I wouldn’t been able to shake it. Thanks for watching!
I don’t know why but your opening intro reminded me so much of the opening narrations on “The Waltons” . Something soothing and comforting. Nice!
I appreciate it buddy. Thanks so much for giving it a chance.
Had a question, can you show us the screen of what the bottom looks like when you are grouper fishing. Just curious, thanks for the great content!!
I'll try but it shows my coordinates, that's why I don't.
I understand, I wasn’t thinking of that. I love the boat , we have a 22’ seafox like it. Love the videos. God Bless!
@@aaronjohnson128 I’ll try to do it next time I’m out. That sounds great! The Seafox is a nice boat too.
I really like how your intro frames the day thats such a cool aspect of your channel ... Another great day on the water #Blessed
There’s so much more to a day than just a few fish. There seems to be always something like that worth sharing and I enjoy the story telling too. Thanks for the support 🫡
First ! Good job on grinding thru for the fishies bro. 🎉
Haha. You got this one. Thanks buddy - this day wasn’t ideal but I don’t sugar coat it for y’all.
Eric could you make a video relating to seasickness? Remedies or what you do to prevent it. Great vids by the way
I personally can’t go if it’s over 3’ and what I didn’t factor is the wind switching and stacking up the waves in the opposite direction, causing the washing machine effect. Great idea though.
@@ericwilliamsfishing scopolamine patches have been a game changer for me. Used to get sea sickness frequently. Put on night before, good for 3 days.
@@jensen6920 thanks buddy. I actually have some but I didn’t expect to get sick because I’ve been doing so well on the calm days. I won’t make that mistake again.
@@ericwilliamsfishing I hear ya. I stopped taking chances, worth the 6 or 7 bucks a piece to have a good day on the water
@@jensen6920 do you have a prescription?
