Hi. Just to let you know...you've up set your receiver incorrectly. Actually i did the same mistake at the beginning with my adventure with dolby atmos. When the amplifier get the audio from bluray it should indicate on display DOLBY ATMOS. When you see SURROUND DECODE the amplifier decodes signal (usually from stereo) to make 5.1.(usually it is AC3 audio format) But this is not dolby atmos. If you try to play demo from youtube its going to be fake atmos as youtube don't support this format at all. If you play demo directly from bluray which is connected to one of the HDMI IN you should get the right signal and the receiver automatically will switch to atmos. If everything is connected correctly and you still don't see ATMOS on your amp try change the program using your remote. For example when my receiver is set in 9ch stereo and i play a film from media player it changes by itself to atmos when it recognize proper audio format. I have all my films in 7.1 TrueHD Atmos or Master Audio 7.1 Atmos format. I think also that Bose was not a good option...but that's your choice. I would say that's the speakers for users without high expectations regarding the sound reproduction. I was starting with a crappy set up as well but with time I've started to upgrade for far much better speakers and I've end up with: Yamaha 3080 Avantage, 2x Klipsch RP 280F, Klipsch RP 450C, 2x Klipsch RP 160S, 2x Klipsch 250S, 2x Klipsch RP 110SW and 4x Klipsch 140SA...and i still thinking about next upgrade. There is no highs there is no lows it has to be Bose...people don't say this without a reason ;-)
You have definitely recovered from the recession! Bravo! I'm still listening to the Bose Acoustimass 5 series iii with Dayton Audio 2.5s replacement drivers in the cubes. Pretty decent for a tiny room.
Do you still have this setup and if so do you still enjoy it daily - how does the Atmos sound compared to the Bose are they brighter with the tweeters or do they blend well ?
Such a small room for all that equipment. It’s like you bought a Porsche to race around a parking lot to be honest. The Bose system alone would have been plenty adequate.
The problem is not that bose is crap, they are descent (and only descent), the problem is the price. They charge you almost double of what the price should be for the quality you get. I mean for CAD $7000 you can get a very good set of speakers that would blow bose away.... but i guess people are willing to pay double just for the name. This is why apple is selling monitor stands for $999....
I personally have been using, IIRC, the Bose Acoustimass 15 Series III with a 7.1 AC-3 + DTS Pioneer receiver since around 2003, with only 1 upgrade of the 7.1 Pioneer receiver 3 years ago to get the newer DTS-HD MA and TrueHD sound. I just purchased the Pioneer VSX-LX303 Receiver which has the 9.1.2 (or 7.1.4) Dolby Atmos and DTS X sound, and was wondering what I should do when it comes to the Bose setup, since as far as I know Bose has only up to the 7.1 setup, (I have been bypassing the Bose subwoofer using the long Bose speaker for the Center channel and not the double cube). Can anyone tell me what they recommend to get the last 2 ceiling speakers set up? Is there a Bose sub that accepts up to 8 speakers instead of 6, or should I just get two more double cube speakers and just set them up direct from the receiver to the ceiling? Thanks!
Great kit, but if I were you I would have looked into a bigger TV unit that would have filled the floor area and covered the power sockets and also played a couple of hundred to have the cables buried and plastered over.
Not true at all. I have both real HI FI and Bose in another room. Big HIGI cannot compete with the ease and discrete setup Bose gets right. Amazing sound from such small speakers.

@@olehole8898 Exelente apunte! has leido y se nota.
THE BEST!, the Best 5.1(2019) + mágic dolby atmos!!! Un saludo enorme!

nice setup fronts need to be further apart but in a couple years get a denon avr and some svs or definitive technology speakers you wont go back to bose but otherwise forget the haters
@Backhanded comment I definitely like Denon but I find Yamaha more installer friendly, about the fronts I wish I had a bigger living room lol . Thanks for your comment though
Yamaha aventage is great it's most of the RXV line that sounds bland and lifeless
That's so great man, Keep going and you shoukd invite me😂❤️
What to say , lucky guy ....
Don't think like that, actually you are lucky, I had them
Bose means buy other sound equipment
Enjoy your system !
Hey Yeison- Small question, can we directly connect Bose speakers to AVR(like DENON) if we don't have acoustimass subwoofer?
Yes but the speakers dont sound all that well without the bose acoustimass module
Sir I liked it set up can u tell me which brands did u use in all from speakers to ceilings and AVRS
Buy 5.1 system from Dali, q aquostics... Bose is garbage
How do u connect the subwoofer and speaker to the Yamaha amp?
Bose provides all cables to connect to your Yamaha receiver.
This guy is low key flexing his crib 😂😂😂
No matter rich or low guy , matter is see the setup how to do batter and best or even have to play contents .
100% wrong ... Pull it back to you. Bose is Bose. And the setup is very good without a shadow of a doubt.
tiny sound..no theatre effect.. waste of money ..not loud enough
How did you set the tuner for the bass and LF in the bass module??
Just Love the Clean Crïsp sound😁🙌🏼🤗🎼🔊and the space you save with Cube sats.Awsome , fantastíc set up" ënjoí

My home theater supports Dolby digital Plus and Dolby true hd. But when I play those content it says audio format not supported. Pleae help bro
You have Dolby Digital when you play?

Great set up. Awesome A.V receiver. Look forward to a review video for that receiver.
I can't hear good bass in my headphone.
Background music to much sound. If less nice
Good product, i am poor person. i useed mono channel out put and set top box
Vai mera v same hal hai
You have definitely recovered from the recession! Bravo! I'm still listening to the Bose Acoustimass 5 series iii with Dayton Audio 2.5s replacement drivers in the cubes. Pretty decent for a tiny room.
Did the Dayton replacement improve the treble responce of your AM-5?
Avr name..? And bose speakes model name..?
5k? for a few cryspeakers? horrible.
Do you still have this setup and if so do you still enjoy it daily - how does the Atmos sound compared to the Bose are they brighter with the tweeters or do they blend well ?
What a waste of money on Bose. Some people have more money than sense.
Such a small room for all that equipment. It’s like you bought a Porsche to race around a parking lot to be honest. The Bose system alone would have been plenty adequate.
Bose alone would not render ATMOS.
Nice receiver but I hope you didn't pay too much for that bose
dayonerecover dub thei cost like 1250€
Why not? Have you thought before writing that or is it just to say something? They should sound amazingly well.
i dont like bose speakers too much expensive
You should try these......www.damsonglobal.com/us/homecinema
Thanks!
Hi, can someone help me connect my bose av 18 series home theater to bose acoustimass 10 series?
Cable connection with diagram?
Would you be able to share a picture of the O/I in your current receiver?
There was no height input in the receiver so where did you put the 4 ceiling speakers. how did you assign it as a 5.1.4?
You have to assign 4 channels dedicated to your heights when doing the setup.

Great kit, but if I were you I would have looked into a bigger TV unit that would have filled the floor area and covered the power sockets and also played a couple of hundred to have the cables buried and plastered over.
75" Tv was big enough for my setup. My cable covering is not the best I admit, thanks for the comment.
Nice surround sound setup but crappy TV.
Bose Sound is Poor sound. All branding no real Stuff...🙄🙄🙄
Not true at all. I have both real HI FI and Bose in another room. Big HIGI cannot compete with the ease and discrete setup Bose gets right. Amazing sound from such small speakers.
@@user-gz6tx6yp3v You have Not heard the right speakers yet....Bose is just a Living room product not a Cinematic sound product....

I have not seen A Bose Giving the Bass rumble.....Never I have experienced it to have good Sound Imaging....!!!!
It's just pair Of Ordinary speakers with All that Marketing design and stuff which gets the perspective of the Buyer to think like what they want to...
@@BabluBab-gt6un lol. Well you're the expert. I have quite an old 5.1 lifestyle and I can assure you that subwoofer provides plenty of rumble. Sure I have 2 W12 Golds in my main room and yes Bose does not compare but you're talking about a £2k system vs an £8k system. Bose are great for such tiny speakers mixed with the sub and clever DSP to give a rich sound with plenty of low end. Yes it is fake, I know this as do most people but the way it works is undeniably clever and gives a pretty good sound stage in my opinion.
@@olehole8898 Exelente apunte! has leido y se nota.
THE BEST!, the Best 5.1(2019) + mágic dolby atmos!!! Un saludo enorme!

HI i have the same system, but i have yamaha ns ic 600 ceiling speakers, can i please ask what cross over did you set for your bose speakers, and for the LFE, i have set them all to large and ceiling speakers to 80 hz, 80 hz for the subwoofer as well.
Can you show me how you connect wires to receiver
Didn't realize the Acoustimass requires a passthrough amp between the receiver and speakers when I bought it.. Hoping its possible to jerry rig male - female RCAs adapters. Playing around with a rocketfish wireless speaker kit. subwoofer output > wireless transmitter > wireless receiver > rear speaker inputs
