I used to do that! Soo many years ago as a young wife and mother- making rosaries for the parish- and I caught on so easily. But now, 30 years later, I wonder if I would catch on as quickly! How time flies! I want to start making rosaries again for the missions.
Great tutorial. I am so glad I saw this. I have this tool and was not a 100 percent sure how to use it and you helped a ton so I can make my Rosaries using this. Thank you 😊 👏🏻🙏🏻😊🥰🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Add a little liquid super glue to the beading end of your cord about an inch and a half. Hang it to dry about 5 minutes and you have a nice needle on your cord to be able to get the beads on. No more fraying cord!
Your video is great and easy to see what you are doing! Can you make a video on how to tie the final knot? For some reason, I can't seem to figure out how to knot after adding the crucifix. Thanks
I just subscribe thank you I've been trying to learned these knots and watching your video I just learned it thanks again now I need to learn how to make cousin bead 6/0 size a bracelet's so it doesn't break I need to know wat wire to use and how to put the clamps and the lobster clamps
Hi Catherine - I order my supplies from Our Lady's Rosary Makers website: www.rosarymakingparts.com. In this video, I used the cord rosary knotting tool ($0.20) and #9 bonded white nylon cord (1 lb. spool - makes 400 rosaries for $8.40). Hope that helps!
Well - after you slip off the knot, and before you tighten the knot by pulling the string- you can adjust or slide the knot downward or closer to the beads, while the sections are still rather loose and separated- with your fingers.

Thank you for you sharing this tutorial! It's very easy to follow and understand, it's greatly appreciated. God bless.
All you need is a straw and cut it in the middle half way. Thanks for sharing and teaching us how to make knots.
MUCH appreciated... so easy to follow. Glad I found you.
Súper este primer paso la gente no lo nota. Gracias es la clave para empezar.
I use a piece of stretcher from a discarded umbrella then pushed into a small block of wood.
To replace the blue tool, you can use a straw
Its good but a bit difficult as the straws are flexible.
Thank you!
Or you can use your index finger
you can also use a hollow lolipop stick and make a cut in the tube
Our Lady’s Rosary Makers sells these. Inexpensive
Thank you so much for this tutorial .. god bless you 🙏
THANK YOU! Beyond words!

Ok, now how do you get your barrel knot closer to your beads so you don't have 2 inches of empty string?? 🤔
Well - after you slip off the knot, and before you tighten the knot by pulling the string- you can adjust or slide the knot downward or closer to the beads, while the sections are still rather loose and separated- with your fingers.
