    What’s the difference between pad Thai and Lao kwo mee. Same right, just different name.

      Hi Geo! Great question all though they appear to be alike the main thing that differentiates the two is that the noodle texture is different. Pad thai is originally from Thailand and is stir-fried and the sauce separately made and then added in. As to Lao Kwo mee the noodle is finer and cooked into the sauce. They're both delicious!

      Kia mi is Lao and Isan style
      Pad thai was a version of kua mi by a Chinese immigrant less then 100 years ago. In my opinion kua mi is the father of pad thai
