This man taught me passionate grumpiness and I love him for it. Long live Lewis Black!
Only the good die young. 😳🤭🙄🚬
“Passionate frumpiness” perfect!
Yeah he also seems philanthropic
because he is philanthropic and Carlin-esque
I've seen Lewis Black live twice and each time, I left the show with hiccups from laughing so hard and my stomach muscles burned the next day from the exercise lol. He's always incredibly funny and I hope we have him for years to come yet!!
I've seen him 10 times ..and suffered the same ..an amazing person with the best real life comedian ever..thanks for your post 😁😁
I've been a big fan of Lewis for about 30 years. He was also in the movie "Accepted". This was a great bit. Thank you.
I love him!!! My favorite comedian!
When he said “enjoy these year, because after that youre fucked!” He was absolutely right
Long live Lewis Black, the angriest comedian alive.
Rightfully so.
I miss Lewis Black, oh wait.

America's Angriest Grandpa is always so amazing to listen to.
I had a massive heart attack that statistically only 12% of people survive (at LEVEL 60) ... mine was particularly bad, I am here today because throughout the entire event I went absolutely berserk ranting and raving about everything and at everyone.... believing that I needed to tell some truths and fix a few things about the world and to take charge of my care.... I channeled Mr. Lewis Black and I ranted and raved. If it weren't for his maniacal, rage-inducing inspirations and the adrenaline that poured upon my ailing, dying heart; I would be no more. I believe he contributed significantly to my survival... Thank you
It's true, dude. I'm the grumpiest person I know and I never get sick. Not good to keep that shit inside.
Baby Boomers: born on third base, but strut around like they just hit a triple.
That’s the best description of Boomer’s attitudes that I’ve ever heard.
Ummm real but if you’re speaking of Mr. black he is the most humble and most critical of his generation also probably one of the most intelligent comics I’ve ever heard:)
@@polly8259 Ummm I am not speaking about him.
Not all.
@@davidrichter9164 upset at your lack of progress despite having the most advantages of any generation?
What legend. His delivery is second to none.
This routine has…actually aged well.
Have you seen George Carlin's rant about the baby boomers that's about 10 years older than this clip? It's even better and has aged even better as well!
"There's no argument. There's NO ARGUMENT!" I get into that mode at times
Have loved Lewis Black for over a decade. Constantly cracks me up xD Fantastic bit.
Never heard of him before but I really love his comedic style, and love the way he tells a story. Very, *VERY* talented comedian. Much love from the UK. 🇬🇧❤
Check out his channel, he has a section of his live shows, called the Rant is Due, where audience members and fans can send in all the bullshit in their lives that annoys them, and he will livestream them (and keep access to the stream for 8 - 12 hours after) and the best ones are kept for perpetuity.
I'd definitely recommend "chunky peanut butter" and "Washington football club"
@@smokerjim thanks matey!!! I genuinely appreciate you taking the time and giving me the suggestions. Much appreciation to you pal, comedy fans are friggin awesome and only care about sharing funny stuff to other comedy fans... the world could learn a lot from how stand up fans interact with each other lol.
@@KingDomsKingdom85 just check out his channel, he has some epic bits, including on old Jon Stewart Daily Show clips.
It's older and definitely some dated references, but he put out an album called "The White Album" in 2000 that has what are still some of my favourite bits of his (In particular, the one that references Nyquil). Don't think the whole thing is up as a single video, but I'm pretty sure there are RUclips playlists that have it all.
He guested on The Big Bang Theory as the university's entomologist, Dr. Crawley. When he was growing up, other kids called him "Creepy Crawley." He's credited with the discovery of a new species of dung beetle, named after him.
The true heir to Carlin!
I'm pretty sure that's Jon Stewart.
Barr. Hands down…
Lewis is my favorite angry old white man. Next to my husband ...he’s only half white but same thing
Lewis Black is one of the best humans ever
He donates to worthy causes and is not all about himself. Interesting life story.
One of the greatest comedians Lewis Black. I always have enjoyed his style of comedy!
legendary ranter
" And I never felt better in my life". lol I'm 62 and strained 4 muscles putting on socks this morning...
I always enjoy what you share on RUclips but we're not friends yet, l will be happy to be one of your friends here since there's no end in making friends.
The funny thing is, the Canadians listened to him and the US didn't.

Hello Roger
Reminds me of the time I got stoned, poured a big bowl of lucky charms and opened the fridge to realize we were out of milk.......
....
But we had coca cola 😅
Yep, been there! But I had Captain Crunch.
That’s exactly how I learned to look inside the fridge first for the milk.
@@u4riahsc same here, it wasn't exactly horrible, wouldn't recommend it though😂
🤔😖🤢🤮
😆 Enough sugar for a lifetime!
@@Jimmy1982Playlists with the amount of captain crunch I ingested as a teen/young adult (now 62), I’m guessing I took in 100 lifetimes of sugar. Thankfully, I’m not drawn to eating much sugar these days.
I'm in my 80's, so I can tell you... being in one's 60's these days is like being in one's 40's ! When I was much younger, people in their 60's were sitting on benches, gumming while watching traffic go by. (NYC, Park Ave., remember?)
Omg. My boyfriend had the same experience with pot as you did. Over 15 years of not smoking, he too had a buddy that told him it was great stuff. After smoking and a few laughs with his friend he decided to go home. He said he made it to the car to drive home and 4 hours later was still sitting in his car, in his buddy's driveway, with his hands at 10 and 2 o'clock, staring out the windshield. I still laugh at his story, years afterwards and the 3 years since his passing. He never touched it again but loved his rye and coke.
Hahaha! Thank you for a laugh! You are a good storyteller.
Yeah, this isn’t the same stuff my parents were smoking in the '60s LOL
@@Jimmy1982Playlists Pot has been amped up more than any other drug in the mainstream.
Opioids are *supposedly* stronger now, but the real issue is that with them being illegal, they’re just not regulated and unadulterated.
Toooooooooo funny! I cannot stop laughing 😂 Your message brings back many memories. I will never forget taking shrooms driving up to the city and when we arrived neither one of us could get out of the car 😂😂😂😂😂😂.
The baby boomers have a legacy. They just don't like talking about it.
I wish you would do commercials.
Nobody:
Lewis Black: "HERES YOUR YOGURT!
EAT THAT YOU LITTLE SHIT MACHINE WITH THE POOPY DIAPER! "
8 years later it happens! How prophetic!
Hes 74??
12 yrs. , Damn, time flies.
I was born in 63 found out yesterday I'm a boomer...✌💙 from Montana
58 here. We're part of a sub-set of Boomers called Generation Jones.
Arguably, you could be early Gen X. Depends on which sociologist you ask.
Rachel, you're not anything specific. Boomer/GenXer, Millennial, Zoomer.... that's just a attempt to pigeonhole everyone, to lay out the battle lines for the stupid rhetoric we hear today, to develop marketing and political yammer. Don't let them bullshit you.
You're not a boomer. You're not a GenXer. Those are not identities; they do not define you. So what are you? You're someone born in 1963. Period.
You will have memories and experiences from that year forward. You will know a fair bit of what came before you (through your parents, through photos, music, etc.), you will know a fair bit of those who came along afterward, and you have learned how to cope with the times since your birth. Your perspective will change (has changed) as a natural consequence of aging, but that still doesn't make you part of this fictitious 'scale'.
@@ericv7720 , when I want to piss of my younger brother who was born in 63, I tell him he's gen x. The same as my two oldest children. 🤣
Imagine a fight between Lewis Black, Sam Kinison and a younger Dennis Leary.
I’d watch that. But we would need the ghost of bill hicks as referee. With George Carlin as the judge.
On a more serious note, everyone should read "A Generation of Sociopaths: How the Baby Boomers Betrayed America" by Bruce Gibney. Go get 'em, Lewis!
I agree, it is an excellent book.
There's a few things he says that are kind of dumb, like he briefly mentions the gender wage gap, which has been debunked. There's other things I wish he would have went in to, like the rise of fake food. People used to eat real food, but then came highly processed food. Or how boomers started many NGO's.
that finisher 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He's really good with finishers.
I love Lewis Black more every time I watch him. His voice lives in my head now, helping me sort things out.
Thanks for the laughs.
"AND THEN ADD BLUEBERRIES??" Love it
His delivery is second to None. I admire this Guy. Its been high and low But he's back
Lewis Black is a gem. I'm sure instead of a spirit animal, Lew is our inner rage 😂
The best antidote for the current state of affairs, although the neighborhood weed dealer needs to be grandfathered in. Making it corporate just messes with the vibe. 💚✌️😎🍀
It makes the quality worse, and puts the "little guy" out of business!

Same here. When I heard him there I wondered "Who is this guy with the attitude?"
Oops! He's 73. He's lost both parents (a source for endless jokes) and a younger brother. He's incredible, personally and professionally.
Lost both of mine by 22. Humor got me through a lot of it, including LB.

Boomers literally killed humanity. Carlin and Black called out the brats
Yeah I know. I'm living it. I hope for some justice before the sweet embrace of death.
Speak for yourself
Blame the brats not everyone born between 1946 and 1964.

4:52 I really REALLY need Inside Out 2 right now...
So...I was enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon on the couch, having some tea and gazing out the window, while the mellow sounds of 'Little Anthony and the Imperials' played softly in the background. Then My Gen Z daughter interrupted my peaceful moment with this question:
Her: Dad, do you ever listen to anyone still living? Lol
Me: Well yes...Yes I do!...In fact, I was just listening to 'Lil Jon' earlier today!
Her: Really? 'Lil Jon'...are you serious!?
Me: Yes...Lil 'John-ny Mathis' and 'Chances Are' you've never heard of him, but don't get all 'Misty' about it!
Her: (Blank stare)
Me: Don't you have somewhere to go and need some money?
Her: Yes I'm late and twenty bucks should do...'Love you!'
Me: (Humming to myself)...'Too much, Too little, Too late to ever try again'...Lol
(Sips Tea)
Yeah you gotta try concentrates like shatter when you get a high tolerance. I do about 3/4ths to a full gram of shatter a day plus smoke a gram of flower and eat 50mg thc edible a day and stay high all day long.

All humans, in fact all vertebrate, have an endocannabinoid system which regulates the other systems in the body. If your body does not produce enough endocannabinoids, your endocannabinoid system malfunctions. The only natural supplement is cannabis.
I am healthier in my 60s than I was in my youth, because I have a malfunctioning endocannabinoid system, and cannabis keeps my and the proper state of homeostasis so my body can function normally. I know without it I would have died by now. The eight pharmaceuticals required before cannabis left me bedridden and we're causing more problems.
Cannabis should be legal to grow in every backyard on the planet.

True to life! 😂🎉
I like Lewis Black no matter where he goes with the joke, over the edge or even close... 😊👍
Everyone likes to think about the boomers as the hippies and everybody forgets they're also the yuppies
they're the hippies that became the yuppies when it was no longer cool to be a hippie
@@cat-le1hf I don't they were hippies. They were the schmucks who hung out with hippies to get drugs
Many of my mom's boomer friends are pot heads now. I guess it's great for the aches and pains of aging. As with most things boomer, since the issue is affecting them more directly now, maybe they will actually try to change the laws in the prohibition states.
In California when the retirement communities charter a bus to go to a casino, after everyone is on the bus and it’s on the way, almost everybody lights up.
Hello
How are you doing?
Now?
boomers parents are the greatest generation but their own legacy is quite the opposite
Right, and I look at baby boomers complaining about millenials, and think "and whose fault is that?"...
A Jack Benny with an attitude.
They will look back on Gen X and say, "Ohhh yeah, I think I heard about them."
Huh, I couldn't stand eggs before I smoked pot, after smoking some, I was later (when not high) able to eat, and if I'm working my ass off in construction, even enjoy several hard boiled eggs at a time. If I'm just eating them when I'm doing nothing, they still taste weird and have an odd texture, but as long as I have something to drink they're great. Not sure what it is about work that makes eggs better, or why after having smoked some pot, I found them eventually more edible. I also like eggy food now, which is quite different. The thing is, eggs are pretty healthy, loaded with vitamins and protein, so they're also good for weight management. Guess what? After I smoked that pot, I lost a lot of weight, I eventually went from ~350 down to ~170, I'm now back up a fair bit, but still much fitter than before, and can fit in 'normal' clothes (other than my very large feet haha, they didn't lose much weight), which is nice. I'm probably healthier in many ways at my present weight, even if I'm fatter, than when I was 170, but it was nice being a bean poll with a ribcage for awhile. Anyways, pot will change your life, quite possibly for the better, but try not to rush into it, and most of the real benefits seem to come during prolonged breaks, the benefits of prolonged use tail off in contrast.
Also, today we have much better access to varieties with CBD, which can modulate the experience considerably for some, for me it helps avoid the uncomfortable aspects of highs, even with a relatively small amount, 2-5% CBD is quite a bit in actual practice, 0-.5 is more or less giving you no insultation from the THC and other cannabinoids. I'm still holding out hope for a 25% THC 5% CBD variety with a decent terpene profile, because you can't ignore terpenes either, the smells are a significant part of the buzz in my experience, this is why edibles hit so weird I wonder, you're not getting to smell the terpenes. At least I'm not too picky about the exact profile for terps, I've tried lots that I've liked at this point. As is, I just mix CBD varieties with THC post grind to get a better experience.
He really is Anger
