hi im new 2 this but i think my new cam is ground wrong. i measured the lobe suptracted the minor fm the major diameters . i got 8.5mm intake & exh 9.0mm. now the cam card says .564 valve lift intake . & 534 exh
i multiplied it by my rocker ratio 1.6 =9.0 mm intake did the same 4 the exh = 8.5mm. the exact oppisite.
is it a coinsidance or hav i done something wrong. p.s.9.0mm convted to inches is 354" & 8.5mm is 334" .

Very nice video, liked and saved but can you use the first method to deternine the lift from an asymmetrical camshaft?

As long as you can read the position with the valves fully closed and then fully open you should be able to determine lift.
