    Could this help with asymmetrical face? And is this kind of skin lifting?

    • @KariCordier
      @KariCordier  3 года назад

      This face massage increases collagen & hyaluronic acid (same ingredients in injected fillers), relaxes overworking muscles (akin to botox injections). These results can have a lifting effect. If you want more of a lift, I recommend checking out my mewing and jaw, cheek, eye, lip, tongue, & neck exercises videos!

      I am interested in asymmetry too and will do more videos on this

    Amazing video!! I wonder why you pull the skin down in the forehead? I have seen that other skintherapist pulling upwards? A bit confused 🥰

    • @KariCordier
      @KariCordier  3 года назад

      Good question! I'm using the knuckles to massage down the muscles on the forehead since the overworking muscles are usually lifted upwards. For the lymph skin massage, I sweep the hands upwards.

    I saw you on TikTok and knew I had to subscribe!! Can I ask - is it better to do this routine before you sleep or when you wake up?? Also would it bad for you if you did this every night??

    • @KariCordier
      @KariCordier  3 года назад +1

      I prefer to do massage in the nighttime, usually before bed / after skincare. The benefits of this is that it releases the built up tension from the day and allows the face to rest without deepening the daily tensions. I prefer to do face exercise routines in the AM since I find they really wake me up! And also exercises randomly throughout the day :) Doing this every night sounds great! There is no problem with that. Thanks so much for your feedback and question

    Just did it and it was great! And omg, I needed a tissue when we did the nose area (I have flu as well). I feel like you're so underrated, I used to do mainly Danielle Collins's videos and I would always adjust them for myself but your routines are way better.

      Thank you gorgeous! That is very kind. It will grow, it’s just a matter of time. RUclips is tough to break through. I know what you mean about adjusting routines ❤️ I feel so privileged to share this with you and value you and your feedback

    I've come over from TikTok like others as really wanted to try this. It felt so good. I have TMD plus tension from anxiety/stress and have really been feeling constant tightness/soreness/twitching all over my face. Is it normal for the muscles to feel tender even when only applying light pressure the first time? Like a good pain! If that makes sense. I usually have regular back massages and sometimes experience a similar feeling but on a stronger scale as masseuse can obviously put more pressure on back muscles. So I wanted to make sure that the tender areas I felt were because I was in need of this face massage, not because I was doing it wrong!

    • @KariCordier
      @KariCordier  3 года назад +1

      I am so glad you tried it! I want to make a massage video for TMD soon so stayed tuned for that! Tender areas on the face are really common for the first few times you massage. That feeling will go over and will stay away if you continue to regularly release the tension - very similar to body massages! You aren't doing anything wrong dw! I'd recommend to be fairly gentle in the beginning so that you avoid pain and bruising. I find using a roller is really great on those extra tender spots.

      @@KariCordier great I'll definitely look out for a TMD video. I've got some rollers so I'll try that too. Thanks for the tip. I was so pleased to find something that gave some relief from the tension finally.

    hi kari, luckily I found you on youtube :) can you upload the longer version of the face massage, please?

    • @KariCordier
      @KariCordier  3 года назад

      If you want to try the longer version, it changes week to week - I teach it in my Sunday night massage class ❤️ I’ve recorded many of them and posted to my on demand page on my website. One of them is available for free, just pop your email onto the footer of my site and it will be sent to your email.
