- Hello RUclips! I got back into Life Drawing/Painting this week by participating in Zoom Online sessions with Top Secret Life Drawing (check them out on instagram)
The models were a wonderful couple from Sydney who are heavily pregnant! so awesome as a subject they are Chrys and Pieta.

I loved this video. I especially loved when you used sapphire & the one with purple at bottom and just used with on them. You would not get that effect doing that with acrylics so that was new to me. I wanna experiment with that myself in my art. Imma try it as soon as i’ve bought myself and got myself my paints.
I’m gonna try some of art spectrum colors, are there any colors that you like especially much from art spectrum? Which red & purple from them do u like?
And while i am buying from abroad, is there any other color you really like from another brand? Thanks so much!!

Art spectrum I loooove Permanent crimson and sapphire (and mixed together they make a beautiful purple) 💜
I've got a really mixed range of oils in my studio but the tubes that come to mind are definetly Magenta by Michael Harding Oils and the radiant colours by Gamblin (super light in value but very high chroma yellow, orange, pink, teal etc.) So so good for avoiding overusing white & desaturating your colours
But also acrylics are a completely different beast! Do not feel bad at all if they don't act similarly, their functions and composition are as different as two languages!
Love that you ended with wash your brushes, as I'm sitting here cleaning my makeup brushes haha!
