On a slightly more serious note, this painting is inspired by a date night out during the early courting days with my now-Husband. Some micro(and not-so-micro)-aggressive behavior by a waiter lead us into a conversation about race, racism & reception - a conversation that continues to this day. Ever learning, ever growing, ever loving. ^_^
