You have to trust me, this looks amazing. An artists worst critic is always themselves, and I really want to see the finished piece because it looks so good! Once you get the time, please continue to work on it! I am so excited to see the final.

I loved you going through how to make large scale panels in a more budget friendly way, I definitely want to try this! I also really liked how open and honest you were at the end of the video about your thoughts and decisions on the painting. I absolutely love the painting and the concept, so I'll be excited to see how it turns out when you pick it back up 🙂 Good luck on your Graduation Show!! I don't see much wrong, the faces especially are fantastic, but its what you see that matters. You are very talented, but this painting just wasn't working out for you, that is how it goes sometimes. This happens to me regularly , though I have nowhere near your talent, and to all artists. For me I find that one of 2 things work. The first is to just forge ahead, it always comes right eventually, and you are too good for it not to. The second is leave it, do something else, then come back to it, when you can correct, or change the bits that aren't working. There is too much good in the painting to ditch it completely. You definitely haven't gone backwards. Believe in yourself. Whichever route you take it will come good.

there is an artist i think you would love, his name is Bartosz Beda. he incorporates roller/scraping tools and neon distortions like you do.
