Sin after Sin rules! When I heard Stained Class for the first time it wasn't long before I threw all my PISS 8-tracks into the bayou. PISS Alive! was my gateway drug to all of the musical insanity that followed. Here's My JP rabbit hole from the first listen: Stained, Unleashed, Sin, Sad then Roca. When Hell Bent came out it was on like neck bone until British Steel set in stone and crystalized the whole fawkin' thing.
1. Back street kids 2. Diamonds & rust 3. STARBREAKER!!!!!! 4. Gypsy 5. Let us prey 6. Raw Deal 7. Here come the tears 8. Dissident aggressor (BRUTA, love both)
Sin After Sin is damn good, but it was released between my 2 absolute Priest favorites, Sad Wings of Destiny & Stained Class, which are among my all-time favorite albums in general. I think that somehow makes me appreciate Sing After Sin a bit less.
I remember the Barefoot Mailman! There was one here in Orlando, in the old Fashion Suare Mall!!!Great store for a metal head kid! They used to sell concert tickets also if my memory serves correctly!
I read somewhere that Iommi was communicating with Brian May from Queen during the Technical Ecstasy period, hence the more hard rock approach with the songwriting, and the crappy album cover. I like Technical Ecstasy though. But that album cover really blows.
No contest 'Sin After Sin' wins hands down for me!!! Sabbath started to lose it on 'Technical Ecstacy' wheras Priest were raging!!!! Pity about the production on that record though. Flat flat flat!!!!!! Can't do a lot in six days....
Two solid albums. Technical is my least fav of the 70s sabbath but it still rules. Sin after sin is fucking legendary. This will be fun Eric Jordan Rmcp Sinner You Won’t Change Me I prefer the unleashed version of diamonds and rust too Starbreaker Gypsy All Moving Parts damn that hurt Raw Deal I hate rock n roll doctor too Here Come The Tears Dissident Aggressor
1. Back Street Kids 2. Diamonds and Rust 3. Starbreaker 4. Gypsy 5. Let Us Pray / Call for the Priest 6. Raw Deal 7. Here Come the Tears 8. Dirty Women
Crazy that Back Street Kids, Achilles Last Stand, and Barracuda all came out within a year(76-77). All got that gallop.

I feel the best early Judas Priest album will always be Sad Wings Of Destiny.
@@stanlee-eq7lu Early being pre Stained Class. Of those three I would choose Sad as well.
Sin after Sin, ALL OF THEM over Technical Ecstasy.
Another two awesome albums i love them both ❤
Technical Ecstasy is an album I've come to appreciate over the years, but I have to choose Sin After Sin, as it's one of my fave Priest albums.

I feel the same way. Sad Wings,Stained Class are my tops and Sin after Sin not at the same level.
Love both albums but Priest more, and I listen to Never Say Die way more. Last Rose of Summer is a beautiful song that I've always enjoyed.

Nice..🤘 so you didn't like the live album in the Sabbath Technical box? It's the only one I got, so I can't compare. Many thanks Doc!
I love that live album

I may be in the minority, but Sin After Sin is the only Priest album I dont like.
