Great little tutorial. Thanks for that. I'm wondering why you have a capo at the 3rd fret. Is it a traditional key for this palo or just your preference

Hello Ian, really pleased that you enjoyed this tutorial and you'll be pleased to know that more will be on there way soon, I'm currently editing the next series which I'll be uploading onto RUclips over the summer. Regarding your question, when I'm accompanying the cante in Spain, 3rd fret is a commonly requested position for this palo. This being said, many prefer other positions. In short, I decided to keep it on 3rd fret for the tutorial as it's the position I'm most happy with, but generally speaking if you're playing solo or for dance it's largely down to you where you place the capo, but for the cante you always have to work to what is best for the singer's voice. I hope this is a helpful answer to your question. Very best wishes and speak soon, Samuel
