Admire your music and your style but what an uninspiring interview...was hoping to hear you like guitarists from other genres like Jeff Beck, David Gilmour etc...

Funny that she should mention John Gomm at the top. Not a name that everyone knows. Before she came up with a name, I thought of the range of guitarists I've been impressed with, and Jon Gomm's name sprung to mind first. I haven't even heard him or thought of him for quite a while, but he certainly is an influence. No one like him.

Interesting I would have picked the cello or piano. I can play a few simple pieces on piano. But I’ve only held a cello in my hands once years ago. Didn’t even attempt to play something. Silly me.

Good teaching. Why can't every guitar teacher on RUclips teach like this? It's one thing to learn melody and notes but avoiding rhythm is a big mistake.
