17:30. Larry Bird was 6-0 versus Michael Jordan in the playoffs! To this day, Michael Jordan has stated that Larry Bird was the only player that he couldn't beat one on one nor on a team. MASSIVE praise!
As Manager of the Indiana Pacers, while the players were stretching before practice. Larry at 60 years old, picked up the ball, nail 10 straight 3's, while still in a suit. Put down the ball backdown, and sat down to watch practice. Letting his guys know, he's still got it at 60, and why he's in the talks as a G.O.A.T!

Nice stats on Bird having the best buzzer beating percentage to win games. He may have the most "end of the quarter" made shots in the NBA history too !
@@FreedomFighter2112Indeed. He’s the second place winner of the most games won in NBA history. Magic Johnson, is the winningest player of all time, with maybe 10 games more than Bird. Most NBA legends, that played both of them and Michael Jordan, say that Bird was the hardest to guard and scariest opponent. He was incredible, and had suffered a horrible accident to his right hand, before he ever started playing professionally. Had several surgeries, and claimed he never had the same feel for the ball that he used to. Imagine what a fully healthy Larry Legend could’ve accomplished. It is so inspiring to know he just worked harder. Wow
@@FreedomFighter2112 BIRD is in my starting 5 All Time Jerry West ( my only hard choice was between West and Oscar Robertson) and MJ at guard, Bill Russell and Larry Bird at Forward and Wilt in the middle.
Him and Magic. Larry said he was never the same after Magic came down with the virus. It never meant the same to him. Started out hating one another. Ended by Magic speaking at his retirement in Boston! Watch that documentary if you wanna watch something. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird documentary. It's worth it. Promise you that
I’ve been a Celtic ( from the Northwest corner of CT) since 1969. After watching Larry Bird play his first year I researched his college basketball years with the Indiana State Sycamores. He was called Haley’s Comet, a phenomenon that occurs every 75 yrs. The Sycamores 78-79 season they were 33-0. They played Magic Johnson’s Michigan State Spartans for the NCAA Championship & lost to them. After watching the tournament VHS tapes of the Sweet 16 Tournament games it is obvious that Larry Legend had the leadership, passing, shooting & floor vision that he brought to the NBA. He even had a song written about him- Indiana Has A New State Bird. He’s probably laughing at all the Goat talk, that’s not what basketball was about to him, it was about being the very best he could, never quitting or disappointing the Celtic fans or organization & absolutely loved the Boston Gardens. The game 5 Celtics-Pacers game where he fractured his cheekbone & had a slight concussion ended with him being hit on the right side of his face & knocked to the floor at the end of the 3rd quarter & shoved from behind & landed on his stomach on the floor. Both times he got up & continued playing. Warrior mentality & team player, I’ll take that over Showtime razzle dazzle every day of the week. Larry Legend , the Hick from French Lick is my guy. Sadly I find the game today unwatchable.
Yes, late in his career, when other players knew of Bird's back trouble, it became a target for them to stop Larry. In a video, you can see where Person's intentionally forearms Bird in the back. Bird played through many injuries that would have sidelined lots of players. Did it shorten his career, undoubtedly. But, that's how he played. "If you're gettin' paid., you've got to go to work!"...LB. Heart, hustle, skill and basketball IQ, that was Larry Bird.
Today I see Larry through clearer eyes. Back then I was a 76's fan and did not "appreciate " his talent in any way. Now, I am really amazed. I saw many of those plays. I did not want to admit what I know now and that is I was seeing the greatest player then (for sure) and the greatest ever (IMHO). He was also Coach of the year and Executive of the year. He was on it both on and off the court.
Rookie of the year, MVP 3 years straight, first ever winner of the 3 point contest (and literally never lost any of them he chose to enter), first player to record a triple double, only player to be inducted into the hall of fame 4 times. One as individual, one as part of "The Dream Team", one as coach and one as executive... making him the only player in history who made HOF as player, coach and executive. Those are only SOME of his accomplishments and far from a full list. The man was a basketball god.
Dude, there were THOUSANDS of triple-doubles before Bird came along. Oscar Robertson AVERAGED a triple-double for the entire 1961-62 season (30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 11.4 assists).
One of the greatest quotes ever came from Pat Riley. He said if I needed someone to make a last second shot to win a game I’m taking Jordan ! If I needed someone to make a shot to save my life I’m taking Bird !

@@FreedomFighter2112 I'd rather look at career win percentage, because sometimes making your team win doesn't show up any other way. 😋 That and there's no stat for crushing your opponent's will with supreme trash talking.
I am from southern Indiana. Larry's high school team played against us a couple of times per season. At first glance, me an my high school friends were asking "who is this goofy looking beanpole?" He torched us every time. It did not take long for us to know he was something special, even in high school. He is very shy but he has an unmacthed feel for the game as it should be played from a team perspective. Had it not been for some very influential people (police, small college coaches, and dedicated friends) his shyness may have caused the world to never see Larry Bird's greatness. He is definitely one of the top ten players to ever play the game. I have him in my top three simply because I followed his entire career. I recommend the documentary titled "Courtship of Two Rivals". It is about him and Magic. It explains how they became great friends, despite their fierce competitiveness against each other. It is very emotional. It even shows how together, Bird and Magic saved the NBA.

He’s my first pick at small forward in a composite team. Jordan is my first pick at shooting guard and Steph Curry at point. Hakeem is my first pick at center. Power forward it’s Tim Duncan.
Funny, I'm a Bird and Celtics fan, but I still would say Jordan is the GOAT. Hard to argue his stats and accolades. 1 on 1, I'd say Jordan wins, but give them both a team, and I'd never put my money on anyone but Bird. He'd be my #1 pick for a team, though if I could have both...
@@wesleyviers1550 To me GOAT lists are Subjective and it depends solely on what the parameters are that are set ahead of time. If we're only going by accolades an stats and that's it nothing more. Then yeah Jordan takes it. GOAT list are like the Mount Rushmore list to me.
I remember becoming a basketball fan the moment I laid my eyes on Larry Bird. It was a pass to his teammate totally behind him without looking. Instant Bird fan! He dazzled me. Watched him all through the eighties. Complete player. His passing game… unmatched!!! When he retired.. I retired.. no one else cut it for me. Truly the GOAT and I believe they know it! Thank you Larry! We know who the GOAT truly is!
The key indicator is the team's record the year before and then in his rookie year, which went from 29-53 to 61-21 with the only roster difference being... the Rookie of the Year (even when his fellow rookie Magic Johnson scored 40 points filling in for Kareem Abdul Jabbar at center in the championship series and then helped his Lakers win the championship from his regular point guard position). The whole decade of the 1980's was Bird/Magic (after their meeting in the NCAAM's championship game), a decade-long story which, like Caitlin Clark, revitalized the entire league...
I’m a Celtics fan since the late 1960s. The Larry Legend years were the best. He loved basketball, felt an obligation to his team & fans to perform at the highest level. I am still amazed at his skill as a passer, shooter, team motivator, rebounder & never quit attitude. You mentioned Magic Johnson. I recommend the documentary Magic Johnson & Larry Bird: A Courtship of Rivals if you’re interested in what drove them to greatness.
Bird had the greatest basketball mind nobody played the court like him. Today's NBA is soft. If larry had today's sports medicine techniques he would be without a doubt the greatest. Heck just look at the shoes they wore early in his career
Not only his mvp titles while playing, but coach of the year and executive of the year. Check his ENTIRE career not just playing. Pure love of the game.
Bird should be in everyone's top 5 all time. Shooting skills, passing skills, game knowledge and court awareness.. he was an all around player. Few are able to claim that. Great reaction. He's my top 3.
The most important was his impact on the game. His leadership. He is no1 in that regard and Magic may be no2. Bird and Magic are the best players ever because they were pass first and controlled the game
i was fortunate to see him play live at the Boston Gardens 3 times. what a thrill every time. also, Larry is an Olympic gold medalist and the old Boston Gardens didn't have air conditioning. early season and post season games were brutal during Boston summer weather and they played in that heat and humidity. ty larry.
I didn't see it here yet, so I'm just going to add this. Larry Bird was known for his 3 point shot. The 3 point line wasn't introduced, at any level of BBall, until Larry was in the NBA. He worked to develop his 3 point ball while a professional. He's also the founding member of the 50-40-90 club (50% shooting, 40% 3pointers, 90% free throws). He averaged that over a 4 year span (but barely missed those marks in two of those 4 years), and that was also around the time he had hurt his back in '85. Was named ROY for the 1979-1980 season when he led the 20 - win Celtics to 60 wins and the playoffs, while also finishing 4th in MVP voting. Bird would then be first or second in MVP voting the next 7 or 8 years, winning MVP three years in a row. A feat no one else has matched to date (the 3 MVPs in a row). The man deserves to be in the conversation as the GOAT. EDIT: I forget who said it, but a former NBA player who played against Jordan and Bird once said he'd rather defend Jordan, than defend Larry Bird because, "Jordan makes you look slow. Bird makes you look stupid."
yep, it was 1979 when the 3 ball was adopted from recently deceased ABA from a few years ago at that time. PS- I am pretty sure that was Michael Cooper who said he would rather guard MJ than Larry. but don't put money on it. I am getting rather old, afterall.
As for the “where does Larry rank” question. I have him at #1. He took a 29 win team to 61 wins. This is before Parish/McHale/DJ and Ainge. Every single one of his contemporaries were terrified of him and his ability to will his team to victory. That includes Jordan, Magic, Kareem, Drexler, Dr J and Dominique to name a few. When Jordan was asked to pick his top 5, he says people stop him when he ranks Bird up there. He would respond that “Bird is the best small forward in history and it’s not close!” That included Lebron.
Tim Duncan took a 20 win Spurs team to 56 wins the next year. Bird and Timmy D are both in my all-time starting 5 so I ain't hating, just pointing out facts.
@@mastod0n1 the Legend and The Big Fundamental... I completely Agree. You can argue PG and SG and C, but IMO< there is really no question the GOATS of the #3 and #4 are Larry and Tim
@mastod0n1 no disrespect to Duncan, but in his rookie year team turnaround, he did have Robinson returning from only playing 6 games the previous season
@@alanela6761people forget that. Bird did it with no change, Duncan did it with a still potent Robinson. If Robinson didn't get injured, they would not have got Duncan. It's not the same.
Larry's awareness of where everyone was and were going to be on a fluid court in motion was unmatched! If he had never shot a basket, just his Passing Abilities would have assured him a position
Another stat most be sleeping on as well is Bird was 23-11 against Jordan in his career and 6-0 in the playoffs. Also, many players from that era have said they'd much rather play against Jordan than Bird because Bird would give it to you any which way he wanted, offensively or defensively. That play where he fractured his cheek. Story goes is that he also had concussion and was old he couldn't go back in. He was following what was happening in the game and when they weren't looking he just took off and went in. You will be amased what injuries he played with. My GOAT!
The fractured cheek was a Playoff game too. That never gets mentioned. Same thing with him stealing that inbound pass and dishing to DJ for the win(vs Detroit).

Larry was a legend... Always pulling off a miracle at the last second... Larry Bird and Mike Jordan... Best ever. They don't play like they used to. Too many rules have changed. It used to be a war on the court
While attending college, Larry's played mine. We heard they had a future all American on their team so during warm ups we tried to guess which black player he was. Man were we wrong. He beat us and set an arena scoring record. Loved your reaction! Peace from Northern Michigan.

He's in the conversation for best ever . He knew how to make a crowd go nuts. Nobody was more fun to watch. His style was all his . The talent just incredible.
Awesome one of my favorite reactors watching Larry Bird. I live an hour away from French Lick, Indiana. Larry Bird was a beast but Michael Jordan is the best ever.
Larry Bird was first or second in MVP voting eight straight consecutive years, winning it three times. He was one of the two or three best ever. The only reason he did pile up career records is that he didn't start until he was 23, then he had debilitating back, knee, and Achilles tendon injuries. Even after all the surgeries, he played a five years beyond the injuries and while he lost something along the way, he was still the most feared player in the league even as his body continued breaking down. Only person ever to win MVP, coach of the year and GM of the year. As for the NBA, it's not soft today, but it is by standards from Bird's day. Remember in the highlights the clothes-line of Curt Rambis? That was just a foul. Today you'd get suspended. Robert Parrish, the center for the Celtics, once clocked the Piston's Bill Lambier and knocked him out -- just a foul. Over the years Bird mixed it up with Lambier, Dr. J., Kareem, anyone who tried to rough him up, he'd go right at them. Jordan was a superior athlete and a great scorer, but it took him several years to become a true force and all-around basketball great. Bird was from Day. 1
Being from Massachusetts that truly was a magical time in NBA history!! I was so fortunate to see that magical team at the Boston Garden 😊 He is a legend ❤
Great reaction! Appreciate your re-evaluation of Larry. Lots of people remember his shooting - but as you saw, his passing was phenomenal too. Get some popcorn and react to this "Larry Bird Greatest Passer of All Time (Re-edit w/ New Footage)". Non-stop showcase of his passing - its unreal.
there are a ton of Videos detailing his trashtalking and injuries, which are probably the craziest aspects of his career. Undisputed Trashtalking No.1 imo and the injuries he played with are absolutely bananas.
I'm not a basketball viewer; however, I did grow up on football. What you asked about athletes of the past is totally valid. I grew up during the dynasty, 'Iron Curtain' era of the Steelers...not only were players battling other tough as nails players back then, but they were out there battling the elements...playing in rain, mud, snow...you name it...and then having to face down some of the toughest guys on the field. It was a whole different time in sports.
I grew up in Indiana and remember seeing Larry's high school stats in local newspaper Monday Sports section. I followed him late into his career. I too didn't care much for NFL or anything else other than car racing back then, but Larry made me proud to be born in middle America Indiana! 33 for life!
Larry Legend !!!! I am a massive Jordan fan and Kobe fan !! I was a kid during the Showtime Laker Era and I am from LA originally . I remember the Bird and Johnson rivalry. Good Times !!!
Btw, Larry is more than his stats. He was a “pass first” kind of player so while he could have led in scoring, he chose to share with the TEAM. At the end of the day, Larry is up there with Magic leading the WINS percentage column. Magic has an extra 10 games bcuz he came out of retirement briefly.
I'm crying watching this. I remember the day he retired, understood but for me, an era was ending. I watched 🏀 and knew of him from college ball. Fir me he's The G.O.A.T.😊

I'm the same way man. Not even a sports guy, but basketball (I think it's the pure dexterity and mental game), and anything combat...I'm in. Had never even heard of Bird and now I'm a believer.
to truly understand how insane he was check out 5 times larry bird was injured but refused to quit. 4 crazy stories to prove larry bird was the toughest in the nba. if someone got 10% of the shit larry legend went through it would most certainly be retirement for them.
here is a stat. Bird is the ONLY PERSON IN HISTORY to average 24 points, 10 rebounds (in the rough 80s) and 6 assists per game for his CAREER.. that ALONE makes him UNIQUE and well statistically speaking the most ALL AROUND PLAYER EVER.... but thats NOT ALL.. Bird is one of THREE ppl in HISTORY to have MULTIPLE 50/40/90 seasons (KD and Steph being the other two but they dont have the overall numbers bird had).. and FURTHERMORE, He LED THE LEAGUE in DWS (Defensive Win-shares) FOUR TIMES (ONLY 4 OTHER PLAYERS have done atleast that, Tim Duncan and Olajuwan are two of those players) he literally DID IT ALL.
Are there any other people out there like me that are not basketball fans but love to watch Larry Bird😮😮😮 Talent is so undesirable but it's not the Talent alone it's the personality❤❤❤❤
This was my era, and I grew up with him on my team. Bird was great for his first 8/9 yrs, but injuries cut his career short. Statistically, his totals aren’t super high, but his averages are unreal. He was a problem for anyone playing against him.
Bird had the stubborn desire to win, making him train harder and longer than just about everyone, giving him skills among the best the league has ever seen and the basketball IQ to know at all times precisely what was possible. His will to win pushed him to act on that knowledge, giving him a level of hustle and heart in games beyond most players. That combination of hustle, heart, ability and IQ made him the most clutch player the NBA has ever seen, making him even more lethal in the clutch than during normal game-time. Larry Joe Bird was as complete a package as the league has ever seen. If you're looking for an all-rounder, look no further. The greatest forward of all time, bar none. EASILY a top 5 player all-time, no matter what criteria you base your list on. In the modern game, he'd be even better than he was in the 80s, and back then, he was the best. In the modern league, he'd be most comparable to Nikola Jokic, only with more hustle, more determination to win, better defense and better at elevating his teammates. Slightly shorter, but that wouldn't stop him, especially seeing as how he once won a jump ball against Hakeem. Don't you know about the Bird? Well, everybody should know that the Bird is the word!
When I was a kid I was a Sixers fan, and idolized Dr. J. I remember Bird as what my kid mind saw as the luckiest basketball player ever. Now as an adult, I see things very differently. Brilliant, talented people make their own luck.
Facts he would absolutely dominate these fairies that play now. With today's rules and modern medicine he would have played as long as anyone because his game wasn't bass xd on athleticism but skill and intelligence. LeBum has nothing on him.

Yeah brother! Capitalize that shit!!! Who cares about proper rules of writing? How did you even do that? Did you really do 'SHIFT + initial letter' for each word? Or did you just parse the whole string with a capitalize function? Why I'm asking is because it takes some effort to write like this. It's not like turning CAPS LOCK on and going to town. This requires more thought, more input. So what I'm asking is 'why?'. What are you trying to convey to us by capitalizing each word's initial? This is a genuine question and I mean no disrespect. The mind boggles.

All the athleticism in the world can’t help you when you’re being outsmarted. Larry Bird just knew how to win basketball games.
The look on your face when he went over the rim!!! Gave you a subscribe just for that!!

12:53 Not just concussed. He broke his cheekbone on that fall. And returned, and yes, shot like that!
At 6'10", Bird"s fade and step backs made him unguardable.
I loved it when we'd play Philly. Always respected Sir Charles Barkley. It was a great time to watch the NBA.
@ They were spirited games for sure!
@scrivener68 He probably meant Bird was first to have a 50/40/90 season, and only one of a few to have multiple of them.
He's top 5, easily.
And dedication, commitment...
people do lack that these days.
One of the greatest quotes ever came from Pat Riley. He said if I needed someone to make a last second shot to win a game I’m taking Jordan ! If I needed someone to make a shot to save my life I’m taking Bird !
Larry was a beast. He would hurt so many feelings if he played in the NBA today, lol

Larry Legend... One of the greatest to ever lace up.
I'd take a prime Bird over every other player. Bird=GOAT
He’s my first pick at small forward in a composite team. Jordan is my first pick at shooting guard and Steph Curry at point. Hakeem is my first pick at center. Power forward it’s Tim Duncan.
They sold out the Boston Garden for his retirement ceremony "Larry is the GOAT"
Larry Bird is the G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan said that in an interview it's on you tube, when they ask him about Larry Bird.
Larry is the true Goat... and Im a Jordan fan. 😂
Me too... wild that MJ *never* bet Larry in the playoffs.... *0 in 6*
Funny, I'm a Bird and Celtics fan, but I still would say Jordan is the GOAT. Hard to argue his stats and accolades. 1 on 1, I'd say Jordan wins, but give them both a team, and I'd never put my money on anyone but Bird. He'd be my #1 pick for a team, though if I could have both...

Watched him all through the eighties. Complete player. His passing game… unmatched!!! When he retired.. I retired.. no one else cut it for me. Truly the GOAT and I believe they know it! Thank you Larry! We know who the GOAT truly is!
Larry Bird. The goat
He wasn't just one of the greatest to ever play he was also a coach of the year and an executive of the year. Larry Bird is basketball
Magic & Larry’s competition started during their college years.
Bird is the GOAT, he saved the NBA, he was the most clutch player EVER, if you needed that basket, just give that ball to Larry.
…and get out the way. ~M. L. Carr
Thanks!
Bird had the greatest basketball mind nobody played the court like him. Today's NBA is soft. If larry had today's sports medicine techniques he would be without a doubt the greatest. Heck just look at the shoes they wore early in his career
Bird, Johnson and Jordan - what an era! All 3 had respect for each other. Fun times.
Not only his mvp titles while playing, but coach of the year and executive of the year. Check his ENTIRE career not just playing. Pure love of the game.
One thing that I remember from watching Larry Bird play is his rebounding. It tends to get overlooked, even in this mix-tape.
Bird should be in everyone's top 5 all time. Shooting skills, passing skills, game knowledge and court awareness.. he was an all around player. Few are able to claim that. Great reaction. He's my top 3.
Don’t forget the 10 rebounds per game(Career average)
Same with me. Kareem and Jordan rounding it out

My daddy was a HUGE Larry Bird fan, so in turn, I always have been too. Thank you for this video. I love all things that remind me of my daddy. 🙏🤍
@@mikeykimm6719 I believe it was James Worthy is credited with saying "Jordan makes you look slow. Bird makes you look stupid."
He is number one in my book.

Great that you're seeing!
Larry had Ball IQ, always 5 steps ahead of everyone on the court.
I grew up an hour out of Boston during the Bird era. It was really special to witness the NBA during that time period.
I grew up in Indiana and remember seeing Larry's high school stats in local newspaper Monday Sports section. I followed him late into his career. I too didn't care much for NFL or anything else other than car racing back then, but Larry made me proud to be born in middle America Indiana! 33 for life!

Bird is the ONLY PERSON IN HISTORY to average
24 points, 10 rebounds (in the rough 80s) and 6 assists per game for his CAREER..
that ALONE makes him UNIQUE and well statistically speaking the most ALL AROUND PLAYER EVER....
but thats NOT ALL.. Bird is one of THREE ppl in HISTORY to have MULTIPLE 50/40/90 seasons (KD and Steph being the other two but they dont have the overall numbers bird had)..
and FURTHERMORE, He LED THE LEAGUE in DWS (Defensive Win-shares) FOUR TIMES (ONLY 4 OTHER PLAYERS have done atleast that, Tim Duncan and Olajuwan are two of those players)
he literally DID IT ALL.

I agree with Magic, Larry Bird was THE greatest basketball player ever! I never missed a Celtics game while he played. Best years of basketball ever!
I am glad I got to see both Bird and Jordan as well as Magic play when I was growing up I looked up to all three
This was my era, and I grew up with him on my team.
Larry has the best mixtape.
PatriciaPerdue, another LB quote I love- “I don’t put on a uniform to play a game, I put on a uniform to win”
when he got hurt in that game, he actually came back with a fractured cheek bone and still played
When I was a kid I was a Sixers fan, and idolized Dr. J. I remember Bird as what my kid mind saw as the luckiest basketball player ever. Now as an adult, I see things very differently. Brilliant, talented people make their own luck.
Best shooter ever, best passer ever, best team defender ever, most clutch performer ever, and all while playing in the toughest era in NBA history.
Facts he would absolutely dominate these fairies that play now. With today's rules and modern medicine he would have played as long as anyone because his game wasn't bass xd on athleticism but skill and intelligence. LeBum has nothing on him.
Larry Had & Still Holds The Best Basketball IQ/Clutch & Was The Best Team Leader. He Was Never About Padding His Own Stats He was Always About The Team & Winning. His Stats Would Have Been Crazy If He Just Played For Himself. So Many Times He Could Have Taken The Shots Himself BUT He Decided His Teammates Needed To Be Stars To So He Would Pass It To Them A Lot. The Year Before Larry Came On To The Celtics They Had Only Won 29 Games. The 1st Year Larry Came They Won 62 Games & Larry was The Only New Player That Joined That Year. Larry's 2nd Year The Celtics Won The Title/Ring. Also Larry Played Against The Best Back Then, Every Team Was Stacked With Star Players. Just Look At Who He Had To Play Against In The 80's. Also Larry Was The Last Player To Have Won 3-MVP's In A Row, 1984,1985 & 1986. The More You See Of These Video's About Larry, You'll Know Where Larry Should Be Ranked Then. Enjoy Because It's A Great Ride.
@@lukobranko Yes I Go Back & Forth Using The SHIFT Key. Why Do I, I Don't Know, I Guess Because I Like The Way It Looks. Now there is sometimes I don't Which Catches Your Eye Better?
@@lukobranko One More NOTE: I Have Noticed That This Is Really Starting To Catch On, ha ha ha. Also Here Is How It Really Started With Me: Years Ago When I Started TEXTING My 2 Son's. It Seemed Like When I Started To "Cap - Each First L", That Was The Best Way To Get Their Attention. Kinda Sad I Guess BUT Not Really, Because They Laugh & Tell Me, "Mom Has Something On Her Mind, Better Listen Up". ha ha ha ...
to emphasize, he could have had a quadruple double (think there's only 4 players in NBA history with a Quad double), only needed 1 steal for it. but took himself out of the game in the 3rd. a Boston reporter realized that, and got his attention telling him to go back so he could get that. " Na ' scoop ' ( his nickname for reporters ) I already did enough damage to them. " lol I wasn't even a Celtics fan, but I was a Bird fan. Loved to watch the way he played ball.
He also is the founder of the 50/40/90 club.
That's kind of like a nose ring. It catches the eye, but it looks foolish.@@gailshepard-cook6350
Larry, Magic, Jordan, Kobe - a few that stayed loyal to their team and city! I feel you at realizing the end of an era. I felt that way at Kobe's retirement and even more so when he only lived a few more years.
