I think the one thing among many things that cement a case for Larry is this: the year before Larry got to the league, the Celtics won a total of 29 games. In his rookie year-with the same team as the year before-the Celtics won 61 games… in the toughest Division. The NEXT year he led the Celtics to the National Championship. Bird CREATED a dynasty out of thin air. MJ would do it later on. Bird (perhaps even more than Russell) did it first… and saved the NBA from bankruptcy (with Magic). More than the accolades, or stats, or trophies, THAT should tell you everything you need to know about Legend.
I find the players from back then had an aura around them. Im from Germany never watched a game of basketball back then and still knew who Larry Bird, Magic Jonson, and Michael Jordan were. I think it has so much to do with the loyalty to one basketball team.
I've always felt that his supporting cast was a product of his greatness as well. No disrespect whatsoever to the other HoFers on the Celtics squad... they had very unique skillsets. That said... I feel like you could swap McHale out with Terry Cummings... Otis Thorpe... Larry Nance or just about any other PF from that era... and his 86 team would be just as legendary. The best part of this journey for you is seeing how the OG legends HAD to have hustle and get it done on both ends of the floor! The more you watch, the more you'll understand why us oldheads view the whole "plumbers" argument as extremely disrespectful. To have seen Magic, Kareem, Bird, Dr. J, and Isiah go at each other for 'Ships in the 80s and then pass the mantle to MJ in the 90s was "simply amazing"!
I like the fact you are very open minded while watching those old videos. A lot of things You Still need to see from those past eras and I am glad to re-live them again while watching your channel. Good job.
The GOAT comments are driven by people who only appreciate athleticism. Larry was so much more than just that. He lifted his team when they needed it. He got everyone on the floor for the Celtics involved in the game, especially the pine riders when they were in. He was the most clutch player ever. So much so that his greatest rivals feared the ball in his hands in the last 10 seconds of a game. Pat Riley, the Lakers head coach in the 80s, said that if he wanted someone to win the game to let Jordan take the shot. But if his Life was on the line he'd want Larry Bird to take the shot. No man played hurt with more pain at the top level Still more than Larry did. The last 5 or 6 years, Larry played with pain from bone spur pain on BOTH feet at the same time or with broken vertibrae. The NBA owes its existence to Larry and Magic Johnson's rivalry. And that's why he is the GOAT.
Lebron fans see only his play in the present, without having any appreciation of and for players who played years before. To fairly compare, it is necessary to take a step back and look carefully at those other great players who Lebron is being compared to and see just how great those ancient-history players actually were! Wilt, Kareem, MJ, Magic, and Bird - in my humble opinion - were all more worthy of being named G-O-A-T than Lebron! Those are my top 5 (not in any order), and I am sticking with them. I'll even add Kobe as 6th man!
@daedalron he's not so great on defense and I'd argue MJ was just as clutch. But yeah Bird was an amazing all rounder and also arguably the greatest trash talker! 😄
@@missionmetaverse5240 oh and how many times was he selected on all defense team?? Read my comments properly before trying to bite my head off, I said not so GREAT but that doesn't mean he was bad right?? Understand English to tell the difference?? And we are talking about GOAT level here, and he's surely FAR from that in terms of defense, nowhere near MJ, Hakeem or Duncan's level for some of examples I'd call GREAT on defense, got it? So cool it dude, I did watch Bird era and that's the era when actually I was beginning to follow the NBA.
I’m just Glad Bird didn’t Quit on Celtics and join Magic Lakers to Overcome Adversity and win his First 2 Championships🏀‼️ I Respect his Basketball Legacy💯
Not only did he drop 47 on the Blazers left-handed, he said to the media the night before the game that he was going to do it because he was “saving my right hand for the Lakers.” He was, at one point in that game, cooking Jerome Kersey (who was no slouch defensively) when Kevin McHale shouted from the bench, “Hey, Jerome! Wait ‘til he starts using his right hand!”
Fun fact: Larry Bird in '91 Eastern conference against the pacers, on the second half of the game he came back and played with a broken cheekbone to bring back the Celtics from 83-80 to 112-92. Stats:32 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists.
Larry LARRONIUS Bird did all that playing with a broken back from 85-till he retired. His passing is one of his best skills. His full court passes are my favorite. Under, over, right or left-handed.......poetry in motion. # birdgang 💚🐐🍀
Honestly, my guy. LarryBird is the only one who could get into MJ’s head. Most people just hated on Larry Bird because he was a white boy. Don’t get it twisted…that white boy ain’t no punk, he came to ball with the best.

I've got MJ #1 and Bird at #2, right behind. Bird was unbelievable. Like his opponents say, every time you think you had the game won, Bird would do something to change that. I was a Lakers fan in the 80's and Bird was my nightmare. I just kept wishing he would get sick in the finals. He never did ;)
I personally think bird is the greatest all around basketball player ever especially when he put up those numbers while telling people what he was going to do. Even after he destroyed his back in like 1987 has still torching people up until he retired and thats because of skill not athleticism
Great reaction! You absolutely need to react to the official ultimate mixtape of Larry Bird. Do yourself a favor and witness the greatness and the contribution to the Game by Larry legend.
You should watch his passing video; the re-edited version. The Oregon game, that he played left-handed for a significant part of, is a fun watch too. MJ never beat Bird in the playoffs, and usually lost to him, in the regular season games too. I want to say that stat is, 17-11 with Bird on top. Even after Pippen joined MJ, Bird was able to take them both on, and win. And MJ dropped crazy points in two of those games. Setting NBA playoff scoring records. Yet, he still lost to Larry and the Celtics. MJ had had an amazing year too; winning every award possible. Larry beat him in that years playoffs. I think that ought to make people pause and think. If you’re the best of the best, what does that make the one that defeats you?!? I was a Lakers fan growing up, but I watched every game that included Larry. He was just so much fun to watch! He did things you never saw anyone else do or try. I was too young to understand loyalty, and was very upset that he wasn’t a Laker. We dreaded any game with the Celtics. I’ve come to have so much respect, and admiration for him, now. Another great video is about all of his injuries. He broke his right hand right before starting the ‘79 season, and it was never the same afterwards. He said he never had the same feel for the ball that he had before the break. That’s inspiring! Imagine what he would’ve done if he hadn’t messed that hand up so bad. Amazing talent and heart.
I think a perfect illustration of the different mindsets between MJ and Bird would be something like this: Jordan: "Hey Larry, I sure cooked your ass tonight - how'd you like that 50 I dropped on you?" Bird: "Yeah Michael you had me, but we still won the game."
While attending college Larry's team was playing mine and we heard they had a future all American on their team. So during warm ups we tried to guess which black player he was! Well we were wrong and he beat our league champion team and set our arena scoring record! Peace from Northern Michigan!
You have been featured on "real Mind Crime" channel.. You will hear in his voice how happy it makes us... We like seeing people who dont deny thier own eyes and the facts, who are willing to learn.. instead of argue from ignorance.. its SO DISRESPECTFUL how most Lebron fans behave. seeing you move onto appreciating more of NBA history, that earned you another sub. Thats what we USED to do, learn about things before arguing about it. Respect young man... something those other Lebron fans will never get. Yes, Bird might be the man, I dont really have a top 5, and official ranking, just appreciate them for what they are.. But only Bird fights Jordan in my mind as the best... unfortunately just dont have enough pre 70s to judge older players by. But Bird , his TRUE value, wont show up in the stats sheet even if he is the Original founder of the 50/40/90 Club.. yes, 30 years before modern league removed all the rules and made offense EASIER. In todays league, he would just destroy it... no IQ anymore, he would have lasted longer and found scoring much easier. POSSIBLY the best passer EVER. Also if youre into ball handling white guys, PETE MARAVICH is important part of NBA history, half the moves people use today were created by him in 70s.. with MUCH stricter dribbling and chrging rules.
Nahhh # 1 MJ ( so above it's disgusting) # 2 Kareem (one of the best resume) # 3 Magic (took over kareem's team) # 4 Bird ( close to the perfect player) # 5 Kobe (sometimes hardwork pay) # 6 Tim ( yes solid and lucky) # 7 Bron ( brag too much, longevity) # 8 Bill ( immovable, too much rings) # 9 Wilt ( immovable, ton of records) # 10 Shaq ( was too lazy to be # 1) # 11 Hakeem ( so good ) # 12 Curry(can't be low Bron's too hi) My 12 is also a game changer, 11 only have 2 rings, 10 is punished, I cheated because of their era for 8 and 9, 7 is probably still too high but it's hard to tell with so much narratives, 6 the silent dude take over thé bragging brat, 5 shouldn't be that high but he is 7 never pass him, 3 and 4 save the NBA, if 4-6 of 7 can be top 2 so 6-4 is definitely higher and the true 2. 1 resume is as good or better than 2 1 didn't save but make it worlwide 1 took over 3 and 4 in 1992 1 copy him bring success 1 solid fundamental too 1 is still chase by the wannabe 1 best strike since 8 in a row 1 is a better scorer than Mr record 1 was as or much dominant than 10 1 rookie of the year vs 1st pick 1 is also a massive game changer Etc Disgusting
Great list ….…. We have 7 of the same top 10 ! I still have Bird over MJ . Better shooter , a better passer , a better shot blocker , better rebounder , better 3 pointer , better free throw , and 6 - 0 in the playoffs vs your Goat … and yes , as perfect as a player as you can get !
@@howdoicancel6760 I can put Bird over MJ but for only one criteria I think Bird could feat any team and be as performant If Jordan is not the star or the go to player, he would still be good but not the best use of Jordan. It would been even worst for Bron who can perform only in his system, Jordan only care about winning and doing his best, Bird too.
Pat Riley once said, “If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save a game, I'd choose Michael Jordan. If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save my life, I'd take Larry Bird."
To explain why he says bird was the true finals mvp in 81 Bird averaged 15 pts, 15 rebounds and 7.5 assists. Cedric maxwell, who was given finals mvp, had 17.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists. If you ask me, 5.5 rebounds plus 4.7 assists per game is worth way more than 2.8 points per game.
MJ is my GOAT but Bird is right behind him. Had it not for that bad back injury he got taking care of his lawn right at the height of his 3consecutive MVP years, people may be looking at Bird at a much higher level and he might just be my personal GOAT ahead of MJ. One thing that young basketball fans do not understand is how the game was played during those years. It is not easy to explain but imagine them playing a game they so loved to play in its purest form with pride and honor. During those years, rebound is a difficult stat to get. Everyone clogging the lane battling for possession and Bird still averaged more than 10 in his career. We got lots of stat padders today taking free rebounds from teammates and still so far from 10rpg. True fans of the sport understands the focus, dedication, and effort that those OG's put up during each game. While what we are seeing today are office workers - just coming to office for the salary and get done with the daily timeclock.
NBA players who played against MJ and Bird say they would rather face MJ than Bird. Magic called Bird the best player ever during Bird's retirement ceremony. He played against MJ too
The definition for Bird is "The Toughest" basketball player...even though he beat Black Jesus in his intermediate stage of his career and challenged Magic for sneaker deal with Converse and icing the cake against "Showtime" with Rings...Favor White Boy play that funky music...ps he got offended when another white player was match up with him...
Larry in his prime, often referred to as ''Mullet Bird" because of his hair style at the time was unstoppable. Injuries cut his career way too short, but i really believe he was the greatest of all time in 1986 season. Watch Celtics full games. Nobody could stop Larry because he stayed HOT!
Groovy, I'd love to see you react to JASON "WHITE CHOCOLATE" WILLIAMS. He took street ball in the NBA to the next level. His highlights will blow your mind.🤞✌️
MJ is the goat. But Bird ain't far behind. Bird is a more complete package than Lebron all considered: Skills, clutch, stats, leadership...and HEART. Cold as hell.
I saw very possibly EVERY game Bird played as a fan in the 80's/90's...the highlight videos on YT are great, but honestly EVERY game he played was a treat, there were uncountable moments in his short career than were awe-inspiring. He was the chess master of basketball, even when he was broken down physically in his later years, his mind and his skills compensated for his lack of mobility and I fondly admired his later years even more than his prime years. He was *THE* LEGEND....MJ the best, I will easily admit that, but I'd argue Bird comes in at #2 .
You were talking, so you missed the statement that the NCAA Championship game between Magic's Michigan State and Bird's Indiana State was the most watched (highest ratings) in history. It has never been beaten! Their rivalry began on that highest of notes and never diminished for all 13 seasons of Bird's NBA career - Celtics & Lakers dominated their conferences for a full decade!!! Together, Bird & Magic and those two storied franchises saved the NBA!
everyone has different definitions of what makes a player great.. Bird has the most all around stats in history.. thats a FACT. NOBODY shot, passed, scored, rebounded, defended, hustled and was clutch MORE than Larry Bird. if someone scored more they were not passing better.. if someone was passing better they wasnt scoring better. if someone was scoring and passing more, they wasnt rebounding and defending like Larry was.. NOBODY did EVERYTHING at as high a level as Larry Bird.. on ANY given night, Larry Bird would fill up the stat sheet more than ANY other player.. and since he has the SECOND highest winning percentage in NBA history (Magic is first), he wasnt stat padding.. he was winning and producing.. actually he checked himself out of a game in the THIRD QUARTER ONE steal shy of a QUADRUPLE DOUBLE.. He didnt care about individual accolades.. he was ALL ABOUT THE TEAM.. he was BOTH unselfish AND clutch.. a team guy and a iso killer. great in the post and great outside.. great moving off ball or iso.. and he also defended.
It's impossible to say who did it the best because of the changing decades - it's a reason why Shaq has so much respect for George Mikan, whom I bet hardly anybody even knows who that is. I don't even think you can pick between Jordan and Bird...both guys should be on everybody's all-time 1st team selection by position, both pushed the NBA to new heights (Bird w/Magic saving it, Jordan turning it into an empire beyond Sports), and both had the swagger of invincibility (and backed it up) that intimidated other players. A lot of NBA superstars have shown signs of the latter, but not nearly as often as LB and MJ game after game, year after year. I just hope kids in the future learn about Jordan and Bird and all the other legends.
I am 50 years old now .. I played for 10 years in Europe back then =) The way I remember it was Dr.J was the only reason the NBA was still there, when Larry came to the NBA it was shit only interest we had here in Europe at that time Was Pirate copy tapes of Dr.J games that was send on VHS tapes to us.. Then the Larry/Magic Era started with Elite level promotion putting the White/black race stuff into it And everybody ate it up.. the NBA got lifted up to where money was good but people still had to Earn it, and prove them selfs to get the Money... When MJ came in he just took over everything, Basketball went from a Team sport to just the Jordan League.. Jordan lifted the NBA to the starts The money he brought in was just over the top the NBA became a World sport.. But for me he also killed the game ,it was all about MJ , Basketball is a Team sport and ever since MJ all teams want is to find that 1 Star they can promote and make money off ..
I love seeing a young buck who’s willing to show a little love to the old school. That being said, I don’t really think this original vid does that great a job showing what a great player bird was. And yeah, he was kinda like the OG Lebron- in that he could grab 12 or 13 boards, drop 30 or 40, and could pass with the best of them. Only he did it in a slower era with less stats, making his accomplishments more impressive. Lebron has the speed and hops on him by far- and Larry had a higher clutch %. Fun reaction vid, kid. Keep it up.
I will put it like this. Above average dudes from the 80's would have a higher career ppg with today's rules and above average dudes in today's game would average less with the 80's even with shooting more 3's.
Those who say Michael Jordon is the GOAT don't know that he has a lifetime record of 11/17 against Larry Bird and a playoff record of 0/6 against Larry Bird. Most basketball fans think "I've never seen (fill in the blank) play, but he cannot be as good as (fill in the blank) who I have seen play." When the player who you think is the GOAT says another player outplayed him, maybe you should listen. When the player you think is the GOAT has a losing record against another player, maybe you should start paying attention. Whenever anyone thinks someone is the GOAT, they start spouting off statistics and numbers to prove it. Don't mean a thing. The ONLY thing that matters when 2 players play head to head is....Who won! If anyone tells me the losing team team got more rebounds, more 3 pointers, made more free throws, and looked better, I would say "It doesn't matter. The winner of the game is the best, NOT the loser". Whenever anyone says that a player is the GOAT, I start looking for "Who beat him?" Larry Bird didn't give Michael Jordon a run for his money, he flat out BEAT Michael Jordon the majority of the time.
I think he is the greatest small forward of all time. Everything people give credit to Bron Bird actually does it and more. Except longevity and athleticism. He lost those doing cement at his parents home and breaking his back.
MJ, Dominique, Bird, Johnson, and Russell. Any order. Idgaf about order. They owned everyone. Dominique may be at the bottom. But, he was amazing. Only he had to beat the hardest. He tried. He tried better than any
Here's what wasn't said. In 1985, Bird severally hurt his back shoveling gravel for his Mom's driveway. For the next 7 years he was nearly debilitated if not for the extreme work he and his doctors and physical therapists went through day in and day out. Look at what he accomplished after 1985 knowing most of the time he could barely walk then say he doesn't deserve the Goat label.
To me, Bird is the best small forward of all time. I think Lebron is great but Bird is better. I'll never not say Lebron is great, he did a lot in the league
Larry Bird was the best SF in the history of the game. I would take peak Larry over peak LeBron 10 times out of 10. If I could draft LeBron and keep him without him going ring chasing, I probably take LeBron just because he's been so good for so long. At the height of their powers, though, Larry was a better player.
I'm not for sure if I would put Larry Bird has the Goat! But if I had a team and had the number one pick! And could choose any player that ever played! Larry Bird would be my number one pick!
While MJ is my GOAT, it was always mesmerizing to watch Bird play. If he had been able to stay healthy, he would've challenged MJ for the Top Dawg spot.

I'll even add Kobe as 6th man!
@@marksterner7532 ... LeBron has trouble dribbling sometimes... his entire career is a psy-op
Bird in my top three and is the greatest small forward all time. You gotta react to his Ultimate Mix Tape.
Bird, the greatest small forward of all time.
To be fair, it is not even close... Not only was he great at every part of the game, he was the most clutch player ever.
@daedalron he's not so great on defense and I'd argue MJ was just as clutch. But yeah Bird was an amazing all rounder and also arguably the greatest trash talker! 😄
Amen.
@@paulusrumanouw3176, Bird led the NBA in defensive defensive win shares 3 times... do you even watch basketball?
@@missionmetaverse5240 oh and how many times was he selected on all defense team?? Read my comments properly before trying to bite my head off, I said not so GREAT but that doesn't mean he was bad right?? Understand English to tell the difference?? And we are talking about GOAT level here, and he's surely FAR from that in terms of defense, nowhere near MJ, Hakeem or Duncan's level for some of examples I'd call GREAT on defense, got it? So cool it dude, I did watch Bird era and that's the era when actually I was beginning to follow the NBA.
You got to watch one of his trash talk videos. Dude would be offended if they tried to let a white guy guard him
LARRY LEGEND IS A UNICORN AND THE TRUE GOAT!!! 🐐 ☘️
Had to check. Yes you did.
Well played sir.
He also injured his shooting hand before he ever played his first NBA game. He says he was a better shooter before the injury.
This guy has no idea what Clayton said, he just talked over it the whole time while looking at the pretty pictures. Annoying as hell.
Honestly, my guy. LarryBird is the only one who could get into MJ’s head. Most people just hated on Larry Bird because he was a white boy. Don’t get it twisted…that white boy ain’t no punk, he came to ball with the best.
Bird and Magic saved the NBA. Jordan made it what it is today.
You MJ Made Sh%t ....

definitely watch Larry bird's ultimate mixtape.....and then "Larry Bird greatest passer of all time (re-edit with new footage)"...he had more full court dimes than most people have regular assists
I completely agree with this suggestion.
Bird/Jordan 1a/1b best players of all time.
Maybe on your own time you might enjoy Magic & Bird: A Courtship of Rivals. A good documentary. They weren't friends starting out.
i love that documentary
Love the videos my guy 💪💯 keep em comin
If you see another video of Magic .. shooting a commercial in Larry's Hometown.. Magic got invited to lunch at Mama Bird's house.. she gave him a big hug and told him you're my favorite basketball player.. and Magic was part of the the family. That's love and respect.
He’s one of the coldest players period. Black or white. Bird truly transcended race. If you were looking at him by that, judging his game, you were already beat.
In the words of Bill Murray, "Larry's not white. Larry's clear."
Bird is definitely Greatest All-around Player of all time. IMO
In terms of overall performance no but in terms of overall lack of weaknesses sure

ALL of the Making the Case videos are worth a reaction. Wilt and Bill Russell were phenomenal players back in the day.
You know he was amazing because EVERY hall of fame player who played against him has repeatedly said in interviews and documentaries that they feared playing against him
SUNDAY is the family day and im sneaking out. This will be good and umma peep it a couple times. I watch you tubers as a way to encourage the future. wishing yall greatness. This will keep you rounded. Keep it up.
He never did ;)
Just watched your MJ video. Another VU, cool to see you learning bud
I personally think bird is the greatest all around basketball player ever especially when he put up those numbers while telling people what he was going to do. Even after he destroyed his back in like 1987 has still torching people up until he retired and thats because of skill not athleticism
I always tried to watch Celtics games back then because I knew Bird would do something I had never seen before; often it was his passing.
My personal goats MJ, Kobe, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Kareem.
My starting 5: Magic, MJ, Duncan, Hakeem and Larry Legend at SF.
@thesentinelsfootballchanne3212 almost the same as mine except for center position. 👍
Bird vs LeBron comparison next. And if you ask me. Bird is my goat. From Trashman to NBA Legion. Who else can say that? Not LeBron.
# 1 BIRD(best all around)
# 2 MJ(couldn’t beat bird)
# 3 MAGIC(everyone’s top 5)
# 4 WILT(greatest scorer)
# 5 RUSSELL (11 rings)
# 6 KAREEM(of course top 10)
# 7 HAKEEM(deserves top 10)
# 8 KOBE(least competition)
# 9 DR J (MJ before MJ)
# 10 DUNCAN (solid as hell)
Nahhh
# 1 MJ ( so above it's disgusting)
# 2 Kareem (one of the best resume)
# 3 Magic (took over kareem's team)
# 4 Bird ( close to the perfect player)
# 5 Kobe (sometimes hardwork pay)
# 6 Tim ( yes solid and lucky)
# 7 Bron ( brag too much, longevity)
# 8 Bill ( immovable, too much rings)
# 9 Wilt ( immovable, ton of records)
# 10 Shaq ( was too lazy to be # 1)
# 11 Hakeem ( so good )
# 12 Curry(can't be low Bron's too hi)
My 12 is also a game changer, 11 only have 2 rings, 10 is punished, I cheated because of their era for 8 and 9, 7 is probably still too high but it's hard to tell with so much narratives, 6 the silent dude take over thé bragging brat, 5 shouldn't be that high but he is 7 never pass him, 3 and 4 save the NBA, if 4-6 of 7 can be top 2 so 6-4 is definitely higher and the true 2.
1 resume is as good or better than 2
1 didn't save but make it worlwide
1 took over 3 and 4 in 1992
1 copy him bring success
1 solid fundamental too
1 is still chase by the wannabe
1 best strike since 8 in a row
1 is a better scorer than Mr record
1 was as or much dominant than 10
1 rookie of the year vs 1st pick
1 is also a massive game changer
Etc
Disgusting
Great list ….….
We have 7 of the
same top 10 ! I still
have Bird over MJ .
Better shooter , a
better passer , a
better shot blocker ,
better rebounder ,
better 3 pointer ,
better free throw ,
and 6 - 0 in the
playoffs vs your
Goat … and yes ,
as perfect as a
player as you can
get !
@@howdoicancel6760 I can put Bird over MJ but for only one criteria
I think Bird could feat any team and be as performant
If Jordan is not the star or the go to player, he would still be good but not the best use of Jordan.
To explain why he says bird was the true finals mvp in 81
Bird averaged 15 pts, 15 rebounds and 7.5 assists. Cedric maxwell, who was given finals mvp, had 17.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists. If you ask me, 5.5 rebounds plus 4.7 assists per game is worth way more than 2.8 points per game.
Larry legend won 3 mvps in a row and runner up 3 years in a row all in 6 years just amazing
Larry Bird is also a 2x All NBA defensive team member too so actually was good on defense
He got the steal from a pass thrown by an all-time great PG, AND he made the assist with almost no time on the clock.
Larry was a legend. Every decade has their GOAT but there is only one LEGEND!!!
"Larry Bird, the coldest -white- guy in NBA history"
FIFY
If Bird's peak was not so short he'd be in the 1-2-3 GOAT conversation without a doubt. His back saw the end of that sadly.
1A.Jordan 1B.Bird
James Worthy said that trying to guard Michael Jordan made you look slow, but trying to guard The Bird made you look stupid.
Groovy, I'd love to see you react to JASON "WHITE CHOCOLATE" WILLIAMS. He took street ball in the NBA to the next level. His highlights will blow your mind.🤞✌️
Many GOATs, only one Legend.
As Magic said, there will never be another Larry Bird...
Check out his passing re-edit video
You were talking, so you missed the statement that the NCAA Championship game between Magic's Michigan State and Bird's Indiana State was the most watched (highest ratings) in history. It has never been beaten! Their rivalry began on that highest of notes and never diminished for all 13 seasons of Bird's NBA career - Celtics & Lakers dominated their conferences for a full decade!!! Together, Bird & Magic and those two storied franchises saved the NBA!
It should be MJ, Kobe, and maybe Lebron in the top 10 with the 3 you mentioned.
Lebron isn't top ten. The longer plays the more he exposes himself.
You should watch signature shots on Michael Jordan, it’s a video on espn which reveals how deadly his midrange game truly was.
everyone has different definitions of what makes a player great..
Watch The Magic Bird documentary. Well studied man! Respect!
Ultimate mixtape
The most amazing thing about this video is that Isiah Thomas thinks he belongs in the same room with Bird, Magic and Jordan
Larry Bird today? Oh my it would be frightening. Yes I'm old and biased but #33 just a killer.
If you haven't seen Pete Maravich look at him. 44.2 ppg no 3 point line and only played 3 years in college.
This dude said "MJ, Lebron....maybe Kobe" like if Kobe aint the only one that got a legit argument against MJ. If bron is #2 than Kobe is #1.5
La bum isn't even top five dude
GOAT 1A Larry the Legend Bird
GOAT 1B Michael Jordan ❤❤❤
Whenever anyone says that a player is the GOAT, I start looking for "Who beat him?"
Larry Bird didn't give Michael Jordon a run for his money, he flat out BEAT Michael Jordon the majority of the time.
hi groovy can you react on more making the case videos? i would like tim duncan next.
I think he is the greatest small forward of all time. Everything people give credit to Bron Bird actually does it and more. Except longevity and athleticism. He lost those doing cement at his parents home and breaking his back.
Fact is 1. mj 2. Bird 3. Daylight.
MJ, Dominique, Bird, Johnson, and Russell. Any order. Idgaf about order. They owned everyone. Dominique may be at the bottom. But, he was amazing. Only he had to beat the hardest. He tried. He tried better than any
React to Larry trash talking. Must watch.
Some say that Larry Legend is Light Black but for me He:ll always be Ttansparent 😅
Have a go at one of his trash talking vids, he was a psychological beast
MJ is the GOAT! Bird is my GOAT SF!
Lebron in the GOAT conversation? In what criteria 😂😂😂
Larry Bird simply had the most complete game of any one player ever. He lacked nothing and was excellent at all of it. Pick the stat.
One steal from a quadruple double. One... who's ur goat 🐐
