18:54 Watch this space. Lights... lights... on cabin top... and they have integral blinds for your privacy... LIGHTS have integral blinds? Riiiight. We forgot what we were talking about.
1:05 "To make things easier you've got a step". It sure is too high for a step. It's a SEAT to put your flippers on before going in the water... methinks.
LOL, I had SO much fun watching this. I wasn't going to comment but "was a heavy night last night" got me started. 🙂So without further ado: "Cleat everywhere"? And that's a feature worth mentioning? "Such a large boat"? IS IT? Did you party on a 30-footer the night before? "I thought the 50 was big but this is absolutely immense"? Yeah, in 1961 maybe. "Hardtop for your safety and security"? Bulletproof? "Sliding hardtop is really brilliant on this one"?!?! Even JEANNEAU has sliding hardtops. "You don't have to store washboard anywhere" As opposed to WHAT? 1977 Stan Huntingford? Nope, that one has washboards JUST like this. "It's a self draining cockpit which is brilliant"? As opposed to all others where you have to stand there with a bucket? "Piece de resistence - flat screen TV and nav station"? Do you even LISTEN to what you're saying? Or think before you do? Or know what piece de resistence is? 🙂 "It's an Amel, there's storage everywhere"? Yeah, on those pesky Oysters you have to live off a suitcase... bastards. "One thing I like and they seem to be doing it on all boats now" (unfolds and refolds a FOLDING HOOK) WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? They are EVERYWHERE. Have you ever been aboard one of those flying machines you see in the sky sometimes? Or on one of those long contraptions that go on metal sticks at really high speed? Or... another boat? "This is what you're paying for... stainless steel bars on the side"? You pay for stainless steel locks!? The exact same ones (made in TAIWAN btw) you get on Jeanneau, Beneteau, Hanse, Bavaria and countless other manufacturers. :-))))))))))))) Anyway... it's been a while since I had so much fun watching a hangover review from the Cannes boat festival. You're welcome for watching. I'll be coming back for more. 😀
I absolutely HATE the sinks on Amels, maybe the only thing I hate. They take up as much space as the regular ones but then they put a tiny little sink on top of that. WHY!?!?!?
Hi! The German main sheet is not fixed at the extremity of the boom but closer to the mast and allows less power to control the boom. While the AMEL system, being at the end of the boom, allows a more efficient control.
No because the systems are all located in the same place (engine room) it is easy to step down and to reach everything. Our customers usualy do the maintenance without any assistance.

1:14 It's not TWO davits. It's ONE davit. 😀
WHY do you not want to put the price of the boat "all over the internet"? What the heck?
8:00 "Rear and aft bow thrusters"? Again... REAR... and AFT... BOW thrusters. Sure was a "heavy night last night" :-)))))))))))))))))
Just a question, is a large master bow cabin an option as opposed to the twin cabins?
No, they only produce 1 deck plan for all of their models
What is a German main sheet?
Hi! The German main sheet is not fixed at the extremity of the boom but closer to the mast and allows less power to control the boom. While the AMEL system, being at the end of the boom, allows a more efficient control.
this boat must be very expensive to maintain.

I know you’re married but I still love you
Can we ALL stop saying "all lines go back and nothing to trip over". Have you, in the past 20 years, seen a single new boat that had llines on deck?
keep your hand out of the video
thank you for your Amel 60 guided tour ;) price will be appreciated if you can pm me about it ;) 🙏
