    No manufacturer of any product ahould be held liable for the actions of someone who comes into possession of their product, barring the manufacturer knowingly or negligently producing a defective product

      In my opinion the only exception might be if the manufacturer explicitly advertised or encouraged the use of their product IN A CRIME. Example: a company says "make sure next time your commiting an assassination you use OUR pipe to build your bombs".
      I don't really have an issue with THAT sort of thing going to court. But the only firearms company I can think of that's ever advertised anywhere close to that would be Cobray, not JSD or Poly80. (and No, advertising a gun as deadly isn't the same as saying it should be used in robberies, because obviously a gun being used to kill isn't necessarily a crime)

    Problem isn't the gun it is the criminals. They let them out and sue the gun companies. Backwards. Maybe we need to go after the prosecutors and such who cause the crimes to escalate instead. Insanity.
