Can you try raise a baby in prison like maybe you hide the baby ,the baby visits ,you try to escape or you get accepted into a program where you get to keep your baby in prison (to make it harder try to earn it by doing good , having a prison job and be kind to guards) . Blow this up so she can see
Also maybe when the baby is an infant and you choose to hide the baby the infants trait could be intense to make it harder

Nah, they all wake up together because sims can't sleep when a baby cries. It's like having a TV or radio on, the noise wakes everyone up

Hi! Just an idea - I feel like a cool place to take this story line would be go from a fast food worker in a hostel to owning her own restaurant, maybe have Tammy grow up and learn the trade? I *think* kids can help their parents at food stands, which would be a good step in the story towards saving to start a decent cafe! I absolutely enjoy your storyline playthroughs! ❤

The sims weren't waking because you were waking, they were waking because thr noise of the baby crying woke them up just like a TV or stereo would, but as roommates they don't care for the baby
The housemate/roommates get up when the by is crying coz they are in the same room as the baby when it cries

I think you should try playing as an infant or a toddler and only be able to control them (like asking for food, putting yourself to bed etc) and see if you survive😅
About bills : I like to put it on auto lights so that it saves money at night
Fun fact: you don’t actually need a changing table to change the infants diaper. I usually put one for aesthetic purposes but otherwise I don’t use them at all.

I actually had my 4th child in a hostel not like this though we all had our own rooms and got lucky we all had our own bathrooms and kitchens some had 1 room I had 2 rooms because how many kids I had some had 3 rooms

I like playing rags to riches, and I do like the rental aspect - but I also hate that we can't edit a rental unit unless we kick out the tenant. But this gave me the idea of starting on ground zero, and as soon as I got enough for a shower and other "common" area items, I can start getting room-mates. and then slowly build up from there. And when I have a fully furnished room with what is needed, I will turn that spot into a rental and the goal is to have all the roomies become tenants in the end :) Maybe throw in a baby or two for fun and drama.
"You're an adult, you can have cake for breakfast" made me feel less guilty about having chocolate cake for breakfast 😂 I'm pregnant, it's what baby wants I swear

My Sim is also living with room mates and they are taking care of her infant / toddler. I think it is because I did use the interaction "introduce to..." that creates a relationship from the infant to the room mates. I also asked for baths / food sometimes from the infants perpective, maybe that started them helping even more.
What about raising a baby at an office, *secretly*?

Maybe you should try capsule hostel so everyone gets sleep and maybe help you with the baby.
No other sims help the moms I play with. It's crazy. They can live together and have multiple kids together too. When my mom sims are traveling i can even see the babies are starving and full bladder while at hone with the other parent. So I have to bring the baby sim to the mom to fix it. I only have had 1 sim that helped but he wanted to be a super parent so I think that's why.

I want to say things were changed with the growing together expansion? I might be making this up but I think you have to introduce the baby to strangers before they can pick it up now. Again, that could be completely wrong, but I have had issues trying to care for a baby as a sim that hasn't been introduced yet. Even as a step parent.

I may be a bit early, but you could try actually showing off the baby to each o them, so they would know her, but the interaction you have to put the crib in middle of room, more space needed. And the play mat is the only thing you really need. no diaper changing table or crib. if they are always on the play mat they self sooth and learn on their own.
