Hey David, good work. Just a hint to make things easier: No need to pull aside the lines around 12:00 to make the sewer visible. You could just as well use the "Sort Order" option and give the sewer decal a higher value so that it has priority over the line decal.
4:36 - The reason why it is not showing is because it does blend out things and assets that are far away to boost the realtime performance. 3D grass is pretty expensive to calculate and so the radius those assets start to dissappear is pretty low. The green triangles are just a representation to show the user that that area is painted
This is very helpful! I am on ArchiCAD 25 and only recently got the Direct Link working to Twinmotion 2022.2 Preview 1. You showed a number of features and tricks that I look forward to learning. Thank you!
Hey david! love your channel! Im an architecture student and im new to archicad. I oftern strugle with representing the urban surroundings in archicad (roads, sidewalks, neighbouring houses, etc...) I see that in this video you do a great job with that! Can we get a tutorial on how to do that?
I made a great video showing content design, search for the ac25 video on my channel that's has a two storey snow themed thumbnail! Otherwise join the free discord group via a link in one of my newest videos to gain access to hundreds of people who can help!
Heyyy David, your videos are sooo helpful, thank you so much. I have one question, how can I get those white model of house that you use as a background?
I work with archicad and twinmotion and I find archicad rendering more “photo like”... it’s a headache trying to find out which rendering software has the absolute more realistic results!! Any tips??
Hello! Thank you for your infomative and awesome twinmotion tutorial So I wish if possible, would you share me the nice lighting settings for a photo or a video in twinmotion please?
Hi David, it is amazing, the changes you made to that house in a short time. Very inspirational. can you help with the presets you use in lightroom? also, is there anyway to import a custom image to replace the artificial sky? Thank you.
hello sir... !!! I have a question, if we use "v-ray" for rendering that image is sharper than twinmotion, So can we get output like that in twinmotion????
Hi David, Please How can I use different materials for walls in twinmotion, I can't use different walls materials, eg if i select a particular materials eg a (bricks or marble) for a particular wall,or my walls got selected with that same materials. This also applies to slabs as well. Thanks
You have to make sure that when you import the model that the materials are different. Twinmotion groups materials and automatically changes all of them that are the same
Hey David, I’m an architecture student currently designing a Gin distillery I’m having a hard to find alcohol bottles in the objects is there anyway I could add more bottle objects to the twinmotion file?
This house is currently under construction, concrete slab and all mate. Structurally engineered and fully certified to Australian Standards which are some of the strictest in the world. 6m cantilevered concrete roof is possible with good engineers as part of the team.
Architecture is so subjective that the answer isn’t simple. A modern house is in the eye of the holder. Be that the client will be that, the Architects. Technically it all has to do with the architectural style, aesthetics and expression, and what years you’re defining as modern
Great video mate, though considering you have to pay for TwinMotion, i am going to commit to learning unreal engine instead and would be keen to see the same tutorial in UE5 but perhaps move the CPU or add some noise cancelling for the fan noise? I will check out your other vids now. 🦘QLD :)
Twinmotion was free with archicad before not anymore thought which is sad. It’s now a enscape deal I think. That pc is long gone now haha no more background noise 😂 great to see another Aussie on the channel!
@@DavidTomic Actually it is free to non commercial and limited to 2k output so not too bad. And the good thing about it is its simplicity compared to UE5. I got it from the Epic games Launcher.

I be sure to share some tutorials soon
Man, this blew my little mind. Thank you so much! Amazing work
Glad I could help Jordan!

You can change the decals order, so there's no need to move the street lines away. 👍
Indeed
Hello! Thank you for your infomative and awesome twinmotion tutorial
So I wish if possible, would you share me the nice lighting settings for a photo or a video in twinmotion please?
Do you have a video for enscape?
How i wish you were in Kenya i would just love for you to be my teacher be blessed @David
Luckily the internet is global and you can learn for free on RUclips :)
@@DavidTomic Thanks man
Wow that is nice
Thanks!
What's your computer setup for your regular architecture work ?
Thanks for the tutorial.
I have made a video on my computer setup, I believe it's titled something like 4k beast setup
Hi, David! Do you use Mac Studio for rendering? Can I ask for your configuration? My M1 Pro can't use ray trace. Thank you!
I do but Neither can the Mac studio. Yet.
Thank you so much! So only Mac Pro can do the job?@@DavidTomic
Do you use lumion or any other rendering softwares other then twinmotion , and what you like the most about twinmotion?
Only twinmotiom at the moment. Speed and quality for the speed
Preface that I'm absolutely new to TwinMotion.... is Lightroom a part of Twin or a completely separate program?
Separate program
great. tnx
most welcome
Hello David,
which Computer and computer properties do you recommend for such work
I made a video about this a while ago, still good.
ruclips.net/video/ERxPoWCZoxI/видео.html
Which software you use at the end of the video?
Where you edit the house color
Adobe lightroom
Which element can I also use to create roads, walkways,in Archicad.
Mesh or morph
Hey David, great work.
Just one question, how did you add the light to the slab in archicad before adding the neon light to it in twinmotion?
From memory it was just a slab
does it mean that we dont need to place it in ArchiCAD? we can just do it in here?
@@jacobmatorogosirimani2802 can you please get me a download link of twinmotion and how to link it to my Archicad
Hi David,

Hi mate! Lightroom preset are now available via my website. And with the latest twinmotion update, you can import hdri skies without photoshop :)
hello sir... !!! I have a question, if we use "v-ray" for rendering that image is sharper than twinmotion, So can we get output like that in twinmotion????
I believe v Ray is still better than twinmotion IMO
You didn't add the lightroom preset to the video. Please, how can I get it?

Please 🙏 help with 2021 twin motion tutorial thanks

If you download the latest version you have sketchfab built in. They'll have heaps
When I drag in twinmotion, how can make the materials to be straight, like in Archicad, holding shift when draging
Hold shift duplicates them..making them straight you can click on the scale and more bit to change the rotation settings
question. how do i add topography to twinmotion. the house i want to work on is on a hill and the mesh puts the house in the sky when I import it?
You need to model the mesh in your software of choice before importing into twinmotion
Kindly give us a cracked version of twin motion. This is so easy to use as opposed to the Artlantis that I am currently using
everything i showcase on this channel is paid for in full. i dont use cracked software nor do i recommend it.
where do i find these imports?
On my site. Check the description for links
there is no twinmotin in my tab?
You have to install the plugin, new twinmtoion is via datasmith and no along top bar anymore.
How to use TM without vr?
Not sure I understand the question. Twinmotion is by default a desktop based program with VR as an addition.
@@DavidTomic I always launches with steam vr. Cant find a way to close it

What a bad viewpoint of camera for rendering. Seeing the house from ant’s eyes
Where can I download this 3d model?
