I've read the book "Lawrence and Aaronsohn" by Ronald Florence, 2007, which preceded Mr. Srodes' work by 10 years. It covers the parallel, sometimes intersecting lives of Aaron Aaronsohn and T.E. Lawrence, and addresses the Aaronsohn spy ring - including Sarah - in great, well-researched, and well-told detail. If you like "Spies in Palestine" and would like a much fuller historical context, I'd highly recommend it, it's a great read. (No, I'm not benefitting from this post!)
What is the British interest that played part in this? Did they have interest in resources in the middle east and decided to divide the ottoman by the use of Jews?
Were Armenians encouraged to rebel against Ottoman just so that British can reach its goals of controlling the resources of the Ottoman lands, which led to sad migration of Armenian people, once were living in peace?

If they were allowed to settle freely and had privileges over Arabs, then why did they betray the Ottoman?
Nobody needs to betrayed the Ottomans had they're not trying to genocide their subjects
Bc the ottoman tortured them, they were cruel and horrible
