I got stopped buy a trooper one time, He ask me why I was going so fast, I said my wife ran off with a cop a few years back & I thought you were bringing her back.!! After he quit laughing he said have a good day...
dang...blames it on the roads being slick. lol. I will comment on his ability to control his emotions and adrenaline not driving through residential neighborhoods like an idiot. they'll eventually catch up to the dude in the car but losing control and crashing into someone's home or property would be a bad deal
Trooper Nelson was the first ASP trooper I've seen driving a 4 cylinder engine patrol car. I mean, being outrun by a ratty Honda Civic? What an embarrassment for the ASP. Where is Byrd when you need to see a real chase?
It's actually a Ford Explorer with a 6 cylinder engine that is fine for inner city use, but in a chase against a lighter/smaller car or one with a V8, not so much....
@steven evans it's chase procedure to slow at STOP signs so as to prevent civilian accidents. The real kick in the ass is people NOT moving over on highways when a pursuit is in progress, that's ignorant and dangerous, lights/sirens are active what more do you need. ? ?
its a law of averages. chances are, you will probably not be chased by someone like Byrd who is obviously trained in PIT maneuvers more than the average officer. on a side note though, y'all need to quit hanging off Byrd's nutsack so much lol. every other video with a PIT maneuver in it i see 50 comments about him. like chillllll

Roomer has it that Nelson is still driving around that sub-division looking for the Civic that ate his lunch. I would have hated to have been him at shift rotation with everyone knowing he got shut down by a Civic. Chin up Nelson, at least you didn't take out a Pine Tree.
Well he needs to go to the class of Jacob Bird 😂😂😂. Good safe driving though and nice get away to whom ever was driving in this episode it looked more like a Milwaukee pursuit than ASP 🤷♀️💙🫶
At first I thought this was a little rock police officer because their equipment is always breaking down it seems like and then I realized this was an Arkansas state trooper. He had to have a car on loan from The Little Rock Police department because that thing did not sound like the normal state trooper car. I was shocked that the guy got away in that car

Always funny to see the skyline in your intro. Been gone 30 years but worked in those building for 12 years.
If they gave me a 4-cyl squad, I'd burn that engine up every couple of days until they have me a real car.
Ha, ha … I think I’ve been watching too much NST. Never been to Arkansas, but some of the roads/intersections are starting to look awfully familiar. 😂
In this age of alpr why do people think they’ll get away with fake tags?
Does this cop realize he's allowed to drive faster than the posted speed during a pursuit?
Not only that. But he stopped at every stop light and stop sign. While the criminal ran all of them.

Did you fail to notice the ice and his car slip twice!
Trooper?!?! Come oooooooon man .. why did you even start the pursuit if you didn’t want to participate? 🤦🏽♂️
*Green Honda Civic. I thought that was a Scion TC.
Trooper Nelson must be an old timer ready for his retirement. He's got no interest in catching this guy.
This is confusing. I shouldn’t have read the comments before watching this video.
This is my old stomping grounds! ❤
I'll make a point to disregard any chases with this ASP trooper!
Was extremely Icy out that day it was definitely hard to watch them get away but nobody got hurt.
Give the trooper a competitive car. Even up the playing field.
Why is that? 😢

The cop stopped at every stop sign and stop light. The car he was chasing, ran all of them. That's how he got away.

@@kelly00000111111 Spits coffee across room. 😂😂
Was the cop stopping for that red light or what
It seems some of these cops just follow the perp instead of ending chase. If that's policy, someone needs firing.
looks like an ASP ecoboost explorer
It sounds like a V8. It's probably a Tahoe.

We need more of the H Troops.. every where around the river valley and northwest Arkansas

Wow this guy needs to go back to remedial driver training
I know you guys had freezing temps and can see the icy conditions at 8:24.
Darn it. He got away.
The Scary part is you never know why they run! I Think H13 was watching over him for sure!💙🌈🙏⭐️
Disappointed
a Hondooooo on the Run yeah that's not gonna end well for him~
Milk Bucket Under A Bull
I know exactly where this happened
Did they ever catch or sign warrants on the Driver? Thanks for the episode! Hate when they get away! Keep conquering!💙⭐️🇺🇸👍🎉
on what driver read the info fictious tags jackass anybody could have been behind the wheel
I guess he got away
Byrd would have gotten him..
Wow, what a wasted chase and plenty of PIT opportunities, must be tired or gave up, because that POS destroyed your law enforcement resources?

Sounds like the trooper was driving a vehicle with studded tires,
wow cop loses this more on bad work sir
Hesitant pursuit
LOL
