Great video. Another thing I would add that I see you doing but you didn't mention is to keep the swing nice and compact. This is because you have such a small hitbox when you throw the bird yourself and a loose sloppy swing will often cause you to mishit. Another thing you're doing that's a small detail is that when you swing you're kind of doing a ping pong swing towards the inside of your body. This helps contact the bird because the head of the shuttle is already flying in an outware motion. Can't wait for more great content =)
Aloha Coach Tobias, accurate feeding is the key to efficient training. My training partner and I work hard to develop our feeding skills. It allows us to focus on mastering shots through repeated feeds. Thank you for explaining all of the fine points of feeding skills. Bravo and well done.
I have never seen this anywhere in youtube, giving training tips for the trainers😍😍😍...thanks for the vedio...this will be surely helpful for the trainers out there...if possible plz provide more vedios for trianers...
Hey Tobias, can you give me some tips on how to practice feeding on your own? Is it best to go to an empty gym and just practice feeding alone? Should i get a partner that will be able to put up with my bad feeds until i get it down?
I have to learn how to "pull" the bird off the stack with my racket hand. I've been dropping the bird off the stack... but, since I'm learning overhead feeding so I can teach defense, I'm learning how. I like the tip of making sure the bird is thrown fast.
Video quality and slow mo quality is the best I have seen on RUclips
