Who’s here beyond 50 years of age? My guess: 2 of 3. Rock, Metal and in particular Thrash dies only with its fans. Generations over continents share this common mood and sound and passion. 🖤💛🤘🏻🎶
32 years here, probably one of the few "younger" generation people here. Sadly thrash is dying out, but remember one thing, this happened already in the 90's and then we witnessed it's revival by the mid 00's so there is still hope
Same 😂 I only got 2 right. Testament and Flotsam....I was waiting for Nuclear Assault as they are my favorite. I should have got Razor and Death Angel....cheers
Wow, I missed quite a few of those. Totally unacceptable . Maybe I can redeem myself by sharing some of my favorite thrashers. Betrayer-Kreator, Inner Self-Sepultura, Elimination- Overkill, Fire in the Hole-Laaz Rocket, Release from Agony-Destruction, Deliver the Suffering-Devastation, My last Words-Megadeth, Trail of Tears-Nuclear Assault, The Heretic-Possessed, Darkness Descends-Dark Angel
If you want a couple of others to check out & haven't heard them try Stone - Colours Anacrusis - Screams and Whispers Mekong Delta - The Music of Erich Zann Vektor - Black Future Voivod - Dimension Hatross Aspid - Extravasation Toxik - Think This Overkill - Ironbound
Knew every band but not every song, some nice deep cuts or just bands that I haven't dived into heavily. Favorite bands not mentioned in either - Vortex and Artillery
DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 38 years ago and still one of the best thrash tracks I've ever heard! Blew me away back then, still does!!!!!!!
I only got 6, but am happy to learn about the rest! I grew up on Maiden and Priest, and I've been doing a deepdive into all of the thrash I've missed. These style videos are super fun, and your channel has already been a gateway to a ton of bands I hadn't heard before. Thanks for spreading the good word! 🤘
I knew most of the bands, did not know all the songs, there's so many great thrash bands, Laaz Rockit "Know your Enemy" & "Annihilation Principle" and Intruder "Psycho Savant" are great thrash albums
Killer as always, so glad to see modern day Death Angel on here, they really reinvented themselves and have put out some of the best metal in the last 10 years.
I got into Death Angel quite a bit back in the 80's when I was living south of San Francisco where they came from. A couple of them went to the same highschool I did but a few years before I got there. The last album I heard was Act III and thought they broke up after that, I'll have to check out their newer stuff.
Another great video! This one is harder than the previous! Love this kind of videos... there are a lot of forgotten bands like Vio-lence and bands I didn't even know like Evile. Always glad to discover new-old things! THANX!
Got the ones I should have, but missed Annihilator, Evile, Razor, Havok (knew it just couldnt get it out) and Xentrix...Of these bands I saw Forbidden with Exodus at the Cubby Bear in Chicago. Saw DRI but I don't remember who they were with....I think Life Sentence.... and of course the greatest concert of my life Dark Angel with Death!!!
I have seen Testament, Forbidden, Coroner, Death Angel, Destruction, and Vio-Lence all Live on stage. Feeling fortunate, but still waiting on SODOM, my favorite.
the time when you realise that all your thrash metal experience is just a little part of a really BIG genre. need more and more, time to increase my playlists and learn some new riffs to play.
I think this is the only time I've heard you play Jeff Waters/Annihilator, need to do more. Jeff vs Alex Skolnick would be a fair fight. Jeff is the most underrated and underappreciated shredder in thrash, most metal fans don't even know who he is. Probably because he's Canadian.
Yeah, I find that surprising too. I had Never Neverland (on cassette!) back in high school in the early 90s. Always tried to get my friends into them but they always seemed disinterested.
These videos bring a smile to this old man's face. And memories of a sore neck. My favourite Razor song is Evil Invaders, of course, and not because I'm in the video somewhere. Other favourites are Exciter, VoiVod, and Slaughter (Canada, of course.)
🤝Happy New Year Bro God bless U🤝 🤘12 Band for me, Coroner, Sodom, Forbidden, Death Angel, Testament, Destruction, Flotsam Jetsam, Evile, Annihilator, Dark Angel, Havok, Razor, 🤘 Thanks Bro for playing my FAVORITE Band👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
This is exactly what I wanted. Thank you for the surprise!! It made me very happy.🤘☢️ Missed Annihilator, Flotsam And Jetsam, Forbidden, Evile, Razor, Havok, Vio-Lence.🤔??💬 I need more experience.Thrash Till Death!!
YEAGH dude, I came back just to see that #3 Corner riff again... that one looks nutty to play!! I also totally think of Toxic Waltz for #1 but knew it wasn't quite right and then Testament totally made sense even though I never had this specific record. Excellent mixing and riffage again man, you literally are one of only several GuiToobers that continues to inpsire me to just play something sometimes!
Killer as usual! You should really test the waters and do a white metal version and see what happens. The likes of Tourniquet, Vengeance Rising, Deliverance, Extol, Living Sacrifice and so many others would really tax the fan base!
Nice to see Xentrix included in this. Their latest album Seven Words is the best thing they released since For Whose Advantage. Maybe represent the UK a bit more with Sabbat, Acid Reign and Onslaught?
Well, I guess I'm not metal enough as there were four bands I've never heard of. I am glad to see Vio-lence in the list, though. I always thought they were awesome and deserved more recognition than they received. Stellar playing as usual, good sir! Take care.
Razor, there's a band nobody talks about much anymore. I got into them after seeing the Evil Invaders video on Pepsi Power Hour and the host was going on about how it and the album art was inspired by The Terminator. I was a big action movie fan too, at that point in time The Terminator was the biggest thing trending and Arnie was made a legit A-Lister in Hollywood.

37 here. Had a great education in thrash since I was a kid from my father
34 but learning, im more into Death Metal since i cant click with Thrash vocals sometimes
53 and not dead yet!
36
Coroner riff is unmistakable
Dissonant chord progression. Mental Vortex is a landmark album. 🤘
That, and the Annihilator one
Tbh, for a moment I thought coroner was Pestilence (though I guess that wouldn’t be thrash, per se)
good to see its as difficult to play as it sounds hahaha
I thought I was thrash metal, but seems like I have some things to learn.... thanks for showing me some bands I've missed out on 🤘
Same here. Only one I got was Havok. I have heard all these bands except for Vio Lence though.
@@offhandacoustic listen to eternal nightmare by violence. It kicks ass
Same 😂 I only got 2 right. Testament and Flotsam....I was waiting for Nuclear Assault as they are my favorite. I should have got Razor and Death Angel....cheers
@@ezraterry4219 their second album oppressing the masses is also amazing. That snare sound is on another level
I've never liked Testament, but there are some cool bands here yet to be discovered (gotta pay attention to Vio-Lence maybe)
Testament is still kicking ass, their modern albums are so good and now they have Dave Lambardo!
That guy really gets around.
Saw them live in November with death angel and testament what a Fkn show
Not anymore 😢
Lombardo ghosted them out as fast as he drums...
Imo Titans of Creation is their best so far. Better than the masterpieces of Legacy and New Order
You played Coroner and that made me happy 😜🤘
Happy to see Forbidden and Vio-lence hasn't been left out....two of my favs from the good ol' days
best genre by far. it is all about tasty riffs.
This and fast heavy metal like Painkiller.
Good evening and thanks for joining me for some more Thrash Metal ! How many bands did you recognize ?
All of them. More Annihilator please.
Only one.. oops
lol! Only Testament, Forbidden, Xentrix & Dark Angel. Sodom, Razor & Havok were close xD xD

Уважаемый, ошень сложно, можно на видео вставить подсказки, типо 1я буква такая то, в середине такая то?!🧐🍻

Based, devastation is so sick
Whoa a laaz rocket referral,sweet!
If you want a couple of others to check out & haven't heard them try
Stone - Colours
Anacrusis - Screams and Whispers
Mekong Delta - The Music of Erich Zann
Vektor - Black Future
Voivod - Dimension Hatross
Aspid - Extravasation
Toxik - Think This
Overkill - Ironbound
don't worry dude, I listened to all of these bands, I know most of the songs, and seen most of them live, but still, didn't recognize any :D
Hello Suffocator, it is much more difficult than the part one 😰 thank you for your works and skills 👍
Yeah, I aced the first one but didn’t get any this time around. 😂😅
Knew every band but not every song, some nice deep cuts or just bands that I haven't dived into heavily. Favorite bands not mentioned in either - Vortex and Artillery
Great pick with that Flotsam and Jetsam tune, "No Place For Disgrace" its such an underrated gem.
This was tricky. Didn't get too much right, but after seeing the band names, got a lot of "yes, of course" :D Your video was brilliant as always.
Wow! You are an AMAZING guitarist. You just SLAYED on these tracks!
Agent Orange, what a classic!
Props for including Coroner and Forbidden, shame on me for not recognizing 6's and 7's
Sixes and sevens...quality choice dude! Impeccable selection and riffing, top drawer 👌
No joke: every time you post one of these I find at least one new banger that I can’t stop listening to. Keep it up!
Thanks mate !
DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 38 years ago and still one of the best thrash tracks I've ever heard! Blew me away back then, still does!!!!!!! Great work, Suffo!!!!!!🤘👿🤘
Vor 38 Jahren und immer noch einer der besten Thrash-Tracks, die ich je gehört habe! Hat mich damals umgehauen, tut es immer noch!!!!!! Großartige Arbeit, Suffo!!!!!
This has been a sad reminder of how longs its been since I've listened to several of these bands.
I suddenly start going through my cassettes. First finding some still play, second realizing I’m still a metal head.
Was really happy to see D.R.I here!
Some of my favorite bands in here! I love the deep cuts.
I only got 6, but am happy to learn about the rest! I grew up on Maiden and Priest, and I've been doing a deepdive into all of the thrash I've missed. Xentrix is so underrated!
Indeed, what do you think about The Thought Industry?
Shattered Existence is a fantastic album. If I had to explain to someone what is awesome about thrash, I'd play them the song 'Crimes'
I agree completely one of my favorite metal albums of all time is shattered existence mind blowingly underrated in my opinion
I just turned 50. I was listening to King Diamond at 15. My last show was Power Trip 3 years ago in Boston Massachusetts.
I knew most of the bands, did not know all the songs, there's so many great thrash bands, Laaz Rockit "Know your Enemy" & "Annihilation Principle" and Intruder "Psycho Savant" are great thrash albums
I could just listen to this for hours. riff after riff.
Killer as always, so glad to see modern day Death Angel on here, they really reinvented themselves and have put out some of the best metal in the last 10 years.
Have you heard of warbringer? Their "worlds torn asunder" (2011) is one of my favorite thrash albums.
I got into Death Angel quite a bit back in the 80's when I was living south of San Francisco where they came from. A couple of them went to the same highschool I did but a few years before I got there. The last album I heard was Act III and thought they broke up after that, I'll have to check out their newer stuff.
Kudos for including Vio-lence 👏. They always seem to be left out. Their new album is killer!
No fair man, obscure cuts! \m/ Got like 5 and I grew up in the 80s arghhhhhh
🤟 for 08. Razor from Guelph Ontario 🔥🎸
Always great to see these. Thanks, bro!
absolute ledgend for featuring razor 🤘
I still listen to never never land religiously. Perfection! Jeff Waters, Randy Rampage. Metal GODS!
I'm 53 & I have always loved metal, especially 80's & early 90's are my favorite
Great selections! I only knew two of these, but will surely check out the rest now!
Man, leading off with Testament. I knew this was gonna be amazing.
Love these thrash videos! This one was definitely a challenge from the last one, keep ‘em coming 🤘🏾🤘🏾
Great Compilation. Please in the Future, give more Coroner and Celtic Frost for a Swiss Guy ;)
Fantastic choice of songs, and great playing!
Awesome! Well done! So many great bands/songs!
It's like going down memory lane and the concerts I've seen them at growing up in Montreal
You got me on Slayer of all bands cuz you were playing the low part!! I hang my head in shame... 🤘🤘
Another great video! This one is harder than the previous!
Love this kind of videos... there are a lot of forgotten bands like Vio-lence and bands I didn't even know like Evile.
Always glad to discover new-old things!
THANX!
Every time you upload, your videos make me want to pick my guitar up and start learning new riffs.
Man you rule! I just picked up 5 or 6 new albums from this video. Also, your playing is super clean and I love it.
Such tight playing, great to hear it!
I knew 5 out of 10. Testament, Razor, Sodom, Destruction, and Dark Angel! I love that you chose Perish in Flames for Dark Angel, such a killer song!!!
Maestro, excelente toque, tocas como los dioses, saludos desde Colombia.
Good job, really love these types of videos!
authentic, very cool these Riff's. Very good bands all of them
Got the ones I should have, but missed Annihilator, Evile, Razor, Havok (knew it just couldnt get it out) and Xentrix...Of these bands I saw Forbidden with Exodus at the Cubby Bear in Chicago. Saw DRI but I don't remember who they were with....I think Life Sentence.... and of course the greatest concert of my life Dark Angel with Death!!!
Thank you for the great videos .
Dude, I did awesomely on part one, this one….well…. I’m glad to learn more I need to listen to.
Respect for Forbidden 🤘
Love It!
Now go for part 3!
Still missing Voivod, Anacrusis, Atheist, Sadus, Sabbat, Bulldozer...
"Dark Enemy" making it on here surprised me, in a good way. Great job once again!
I have seen Testament, Forbidden, Coroner, Death Angel, Destruction, and Vio-Lence all Live on stage. Feeling fortunate, but still waiting on SODOM, my favorite.
Great selection! 🤘🏽
the time when you realise that all your thrash metal experience is just a little part of a really BIG genre. need more and more, time to increase my playlists and learn some new riffs to play.
as usual: nice delivery!
Love your playing, bro 🤘
I'll be 52yrs old this 9-11-23 and I'll be a thrasher beyond death.
Only got 7 but I think I’m gonna create a nice playlist out of this. Awesome video 🤘
Jeff is batshit crazy good, I came across Feast years and years ago and was instantly hooked. He's got a really fun and special style.
Jeff aka the VanHalen of thrash. His playing is tight. : )
Jeff Waters is to Annihilator what Dave Mustaine is to Megadeth, the lifeblood of the band through lineup changes too numerous to mention.
@@billbyrd5198 Dave can suck sweaty donkey balls for all I care. He's in my sh!thouse along with Gene Simmons, Kid Rock and Ted Nugent.
Way harder selection but awesome video. Thank you so much for this. Great fun.
These videos bring a smile to this old man's face. And memories of a sore neck. My favourite Razor song is Evil Invaders, of course, and not because I'm in the video somewhere. Other favourites are Exciter, VoiVod, and Slaughter (Canada, of course.)
Didn't see Angelus Apatrida or Crisix. Great videos! 🤘
Keep these videos going! We need to hook the kids and keep metal alive! Thank you, this was cool to see man. We should jam sometime.
Man Through Eyes Of Glass took only 1 second to register in my brain
Some good old FLOTSAM AND JETSAM . Brought back memories from my younger days. Thanks for the slamming licks
they are still putting out really good music
Some classic tunes there good to hear.🤘
This time i actually knew every Band, made me realize how much thrash metal i used to listen to :D
Destruction and Bestial Invaison, wow! I must dig that LP out and play it again !!!
Honestly, I knew none of them.
But that's the great thing about channels and challenges like these, it exposes me to some awesome bands.
Well crud, I basically failed except the DRI one I covered a few months ago. These are some crazy cool and a few pretty difficult riffs to play man!
Glad you bring Coroner and Vio-lence
Man, several bands I haven't heard since I retired my tape deck :) But the only utterly unfamiliar one was Evile? Gonna have to search them up now ...
🤝Happy New Year Bro God bless U🤝
🤘12 Band for me, Coroner, Sodom, Forbidden, Death Angel, Testament, Destruction, Flotsam Jetsam, Evile, Annihilator, Dark Angel, Havok, Razor, 🤘 Thanks Bro for playing my FAVORITE Band👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
Mad at myself for not getting Coroner because I totally know it
Another thrashtastic masterpiece 👏👏👏👏
Killer! Never disappointing!
I recognized all of them but, in the wrong order. Lots of beer and mixed tapes back in the early 90s will do that to ya!
Ahhh, DRI. They moved me from punk rock to thrash and metal. Great choice.
This is exactly what I wanted.
Thank you for the surprise!!
It made me very happy.🤘☢️
Missed Annihilator, Flotsam And Jetsam,
Forbidden, Evile, Razor, Havok, Vio-Lence.🤔??💬
I need more experience.Thrash Till Death!!

Thanks a lot ! Glad you like it !
Coroner is hard!
Thank you. Now I know 15 new bands. I like the drums sounding like a Harley Davidson at high idle. :)
Killer as usual! You should really test the waters and do a white metal version and see what happens. The likes of Tourniquet, Vengeance Rising, Deliverance, Extol, Living Sacrifice and so many others would really tax the fan base!
There was about 4 bands I had never heard of (and a couple I'm not a huge fan of) on this list. Always cool to learn about new (old) metal bands 🤘
You have impeccable taste in guitars!
Holy shit bro you are a beast!
Nice to see Xentrix included in this. Their latest album Seven Words is the best thing they released since For Whose Advantage. Maybe represent the UK a bit more with Sabbat, Acid Reign and Onslaught?
Thank for this video...i've made a playlist for my Apple Music thrash metal...
D.R.I. fuckin rule! That's the only one I got. 50 year old metal head,🤟🤟
Definitely not missing anything from Razor or Vio-lence. Those two are in my top 5 🤘🤘
Well, I guess I'm not metal enough as there were four bands I've never heard of. I am glad to see Vio-lence in the list, though. I always thought they were awesome and deserved more recognition than they received. Stellar playing as usual, good sir! Take care.

The host was White House reporter John Roberts, what a poser that fake headbanger was.
I love razor
flotsam and jetsams first two albums i love a lot
Woow!! I thought Im a thrasher but, so much to learn here!!
