If Soldier Boy returns, he's likely to kill both Homelander and The Boys. Butcher betrayed him, and he couldn't care less about Homelander not Ryan. He's going nuclear to destroy everyone.
Yeah it'll be interesting to see how he feels if he's brought back again
I'm more thinking they team up to fight butcher, I think by the end homelander and soldier boy will die and Ryan will have to kill butcher. I'm thinking the only people to live would be hughie and/or starlight, Ryan, maybe kimiko unless Frenchie and her both die together. Everyone else is fair game

this season felt a lot like just build for season 5, weakest season imo still good tho
Yeah it had its moments but was frustating as far as moving the plot along too much because a lot of it is being saved for Season 5
As far as season finales goes it was the best. And overall the season was way better than season 1&2 in my mind.

I actually do think Soldier Boy will team up with Homelander. His motives were to kill his old team, he didnt really have a problem with Homelander. It was also Homelander who will probably make the choice to wake him up too. No way hes trusting the boys again

At some point I think A-Train will talk with Ryan and ultimately be the one who motivates him to take on Homelander. That decision could come about from Homelander killing A-Train, but I wouldn't be surprised if A-Train makes it out alive through this whole thing just because everyone assumes he's going to die.
@@zkeletonz001 After how well his redemption arc was done part of me hopes he survives but since it's The Boys I wouldn't be shocked either if he came back and ended up dying.
Really disappointed with Neuman’s death.
I really wanted her to be the sub-antagonist of the series. They…
- setup a character with similar powers to her that she could possibly frame for headpoppings
- made her the DAUGHTER of the former Vaught CEO
- set her up as a candidate for vice president to add stakes
- distinguished her as both acid AND bulletproof this season
- provided so much backstory around the character (red river, her family, relationship with hughie, etc.)
Such a horrible waste of a great character AND actor! 😭

to be fair this is the end of season 4 she had a good run, season 5'll just have homelander and presumably ryan as the antags

@@IShowJiti think homelander and butcher will be the antagonists, butcher is going to want to annihilate all supes like the comics having fallen to the dark side after watching Ryan kill grace. We see him chilling with his imaginary friend so that practically confirms it. I think Ryan will probably regret what he just did and as someone else said he’s probably in shock with what he has just been told about his dad. Homelanders gonna want to become some sort of superhero dictator and sage will help him do it, when she dies everything will fall down. Maybe she stabs him in the back? But I think her dying makes more sense.
I was really disappointed with this episode, but atleast it subverted my expectations. It felt like “season 5 setup” rather than “season 4 wrapup.”
I was furious at this episode. Good guys losing, bad guys winning, but worst of all, it's a cliffhanger. I HATE THESE CLIFFHANGARS!!!
Yeah over time it felt like much of Season 4 was just putting pieces in place for Season 5

Even though S4 was the weakest season, I’m enjoying the fact that a Butcher villain arc may be prominent in S5.
I'm definitely intrigued by it. Him killing Neuman in front of everyone is a good start though it made me mad too lmao

The deaths in this season have felt the most forced out of any season I've seen. The Boys boasts a "no one is safe" kind of viewing experience but because the main characters get dealt so much plot armor in this season, when it's time to kill off the characters the writers don't want in Season 5, you can TELL. Neuman's death is by far the strangest, as they set up her character and then refused to really give her a tangible arc. Dying so suddenly by Butcher feels, to me, like cleanup rather than a resolution.
Yeah I was pretty disappointed by it. Sort of felt like they did it for the sake of shock value than anything else.

I like the fact we're seeing the darkest corners of Butcher for this final season. That phone call to Hughie is essentially his goodbye, and im feeling we're getting a comic book accurate ending here soon... Hopefully with less of the boys being killed, but a nuclear Butcher whos finally gone all out to end Homelander.

I think it would be them trying to get around their head of what's going on in the bunker being caged and then while they're requested to be at Vought Marie would just feel like it's not right and she will try to escape and find the boys.

Wow can't wait for the final season its going to be big. I think this season was the weakest but it sets up the ending so Im expecting season 5 to blow me away
Yeah I'm hoping the final season will end in a satisfying way since a lot of this season unfortunately felt like mostly set up for it
Vicky Newman has healing powers and she can control her blood too. Remember in Gen V when showing her powers to Marie, she cuts her hand off controls her blood, puts it back into her hand and the cut is healed at the same speed as Kimiko?
There is a major chance Vicky comes back.
I don't know I think there's a large difference in putting your hand back together and being ripped in half.

I can't wait for the final season, Supers doing awesome till the serious military hardware arrives on scene. Remember all the supers have virtually no true combat experience or training. When the carnage of battle breaks out their going to lose their minds.

Don’t watch it. It’s a massive fucking letdown
1) Stormfront is Homelander's mother so, he has the ultimate Oedipus Complex.
2) The Boys will put The Supe-killing Virus into a cow, and Homelander will drink it's milk, thus killing him without it needing to be an airborne variant of the virus.
No Stillwell is his mom, stormfront more represents him growing up and getting a girlfriend

People keep saying it’s setup for Season 5, I call it stalling - since there were quite a lot of subplots that made no sense or had no significance.
Part of me has died when Neuman was ripped in half. She was one of the best characters in the show.

That was the greatest episode of superhero related anything that I’ve ever seen. Unbelievable. They got roughly 85000x more into this episode than the whole season of Acolyte. This show is brilliant.

@@Reyna_Amaturi No clue about Ryan, but he pushes Grace into the wall because she was trying to force him to stay. I forgot to mention that Neuman's daughter got sent to Red River unfortunately.

@@joekarman2611Oh, so he's just in shock right now because he's processing not only that he killed Grace, whether it was accidental or not, but finding out that he's a product of rape. Poor Ryan, man, but I think his potential arc this season will follow into season 5 on finally deciding what type of person he wants to be, whether to be good or bad. My theory is that he'll be neutral, an anti-hero. He’ll be a good person, but he will take extreme measures to do the right thing. For example, taking out Homelander, I'm sure that whatever battle in season 5, whether it is the final battle or not he's going to be furious at Homelander and be disgusted by him for finding out about all the horrible things he's done to so many human beings and worse about what he did to his mom

If Kimiko has voice, I don't know if Cate's powers effective on Sam because if her powers were off, Kimiko to talk to him, and help him understand the truth of what's going. They both similar are pretty similar, it's uncanny these they have same powers and backstory basically.
Well the only power difference between is that Sam can’t regenerate when he’s injured, he doesn’t have Wolverine’s healing ability like Kimiko has, so if she had the upper hand she could possibly kill him
@@Reyna_Amaturi I get it. With the constant of Sam being like Noir, he rather well should like Kimiko who has nearly similar powerset to Noir. Also any chances Kimiko can convince him if Cate's powers wear off.
It'll be interesting to see how it develops in Season 5 or even S2 of Gen V

I'll be honest i thought Ashlee had taken V a while ago. I'm shocked by this.
It was definitely a surprise to see her try it just because they were trying to find her to kill her. If only she hadn't stayed and just left with A-Train
itll be crazy if they turn her character too doomsday like character only gets stronger the more it gets fucked up. They all teaming up homelander, the boys and every supe to kill ashley and her mind control supes working under her spell.
Neuman would probably know after we saw Marie sense the V in Neumans blood, Neumann would probably end up doing the same thing to Ashlee

Great finale despite Neumann dying. I was hoping she could heal from it somehow like how kimiko healed from getting blown up but even if she could heal, the plot could get messy with her being unkillable. She had to go for the plot to progress neatly

Butcher is going to have his whole villain arc after losing hope when Ryan killed Grace and I think the supes from Gen V are without a doubt, playing an important role in the final season of The Boys.
Soldier Boy returning is going to be insane as he would cause havoc on Homelander and The Boys.

I think soldier boy will more than likely be forced or convinced to join homelanders side. I think if homelander woke up soldier boy it’s going to start with a fight but could eventually be talked down to help his cause. Another theory I have is maybe the boys are able to find where soldier boy is at wake him up and convince him to kill butcher and homelander since he has a grudge against them both. The boys right now are totally screwed and their best bets are the gen v team and soldier boy.
They also have A train. I kind of forgot about him

This finale was peak for the boys,homelander finally snapped and is calling the shots,shapeshifter is dead,ASHLEY TOOK COMPOUND V,noir and the deep duo,ryan killing grace,evil butcher finally in control AND KILLED NEUMAN,sister sage is back,sam and katie jump kimiko then SHE FINALLY TALKED and frenchie GETS KIDNAPPED,love sauasage whacking mm with his you know what,the bald psychic/telekinesis girl,That part where starlight activates her powers and flys off into the sky near the end was sooo badass,THEN SOILDER BOY AT THE END,This was perfect writing what a way to end a season,I knew A-train would survive but noone believed me😂😂👏🏾

Season 3 was great except the final episode…season 4 was just the opposite…the finale was pretty good in covering most bases and leaving interesting cliff hangers which didn’t feel forced
Both seasons for sure have their flaws but I definitely liked Season 3 more overall

Idk man but it'd be really funny if The Deep ended up surviving, thought now there's a high chance of him being killed off with his whole reverse redemption arc thing and Ashley taking V, my best guess is all of The Seven will end up dying one way or another alongside Homelander, Butcher and potentially Soldier Boy. I don't see Ryan dying, but as to the rest, maybe they'll die in a sort of fitting way related to their stories, can't think how the new Noir's death could go though since we only met him this season.

Neuman’s death was very disappointing because of the way she was set up during the entire series. I do, however, feel as though her death was inevitable due to the fact that after she switched sides, she instantly lost all her individuality. She would have just been another supe working for the boys. They already have Starlight, Kimiko and A-Train. I feel as though after she switched sides, the only value she could have given the boys would have been the location of the captive students from Gen V. While she could have leveraged Sameer to create a stronger/airborne virus for the boys, the virus Frenchie created was enough for the creators to go forward. So although Neuman’s death was a little disappointing, it was to be expected.
Yeah I expected her to die at some point but figured under far different circumstances
I think a lot of people going miss this one Easter egg. The song they play at the end.Was also used in infamous second son. Where there two ending. When the main character killed off his whole family after not Being accepted for all the actions he had taken or when is accepted for being a hero for not killing everyone but the weird part about it. If you listen to The dialogue you can get an idea on the guy personality, you should be evil. And on the evil ending on the 2nd game you rise a armor of power people and kill Millions of people around the world.

I was disappointed with Season 4 as a whole. It just felt all like set up. Didn’t like how Annie was dismissive of Huggie’s recent trauma. Vic’s death was anti-climactic. The Kimiko and Frenchie storylines were boring. I wish the show just made them a couple at the beginning of the season and instead of the end. I wish Kamiko actually spoke in the first couple episodes of the season and we were able to get full sentences from her at the very end.
I feel like this season could’ve ended with Homelander just killing everyone in the White House and the sups surrounding the White House like they do in the comic book and ended it there. That would’ve been a better cliffhanger for going into season 5.

I’m calling it right now season 5 is gonna Show us a grown up Ryan feeling guilty about not controlling his powers as a child therefore killing grace and is gonna end up being the one to kill Homelander, Soldier boy, and an evil butcher, and is gonna put all the other supes in order and I think Ashley is gonna be some doomsday monster after taking that V, and a train and starlight are gonna team up start a rebellion against other supes

Good video! I guess now A-Train and Queen Maeve are in trouble. I actually liked the season but i see why some people didn't but i am excited what its leading into. Another question is whether season 5 will end with a cliffhanger and maybe we'll get the movie finale. It remains to be seen!

Chance Perdomo, the actor who plays Andre Anderson in Gen V, passed away in late March. I doubt we'll be seeing him in season 2. To pay respect to him, they won't recast him, but rework the script. Rest in Peace Chance Perdomo
I'm sure they'll address his passing in some capacity so he'll be there in that regard
What i dont understand is billy let the cancer take over, which wants supe genocide. Yet when he kills neuman. He doesnt even touch annie or kimiko or finish off zoe

I don’t like the idea of butcher having the tentacle powers it was cleary shown that he had homelander like powers the strength and the laser eyes setting up a bigger fight between them like in herogasm but now with the tentacles it’s like ok maybe due to him having a split personality thing going on he has two sets of powers?
Its from the cancer tumour,tumour can take V and have its own sentient form
He has different powers now because of his V'd up tumors. They basically teased it when Butcher saw that rabbit with the tentacles coming out of it.

You know what it really felt like it felt like a 2020 COVID type episode where they couldn’t do much felt like they all each stayed in 1 room and didn’t really go anywhere like butcher only stayed in the hospital room
I do wonder if stuff like that and the strikes had any effects on the season
another piece of lazy/inconsistent writing is that butcher had to cover Neumans eyes to avoid getting his head popped but it’s been established in many scenes she can pop heads without having to even see the person or be in the room.

The thing is, Butcher or rather his parasite took Neuman by suprise. Emotinal distress stops her from using her power and she dies, setting up Butcher as one of few things that can go aganst Homelander

This season had a really tough start and without what happeneds with homelander in episode 4 this would be the lowest rated season by process of elimination.
I had a couple problems with it and I hate to say it because I love this show so much hell I dressed up as homelander for Halloween but with that said
Kimiko storyline this season could have been great instead of feeling like a side quest to pan out run time. The same goes for Frenchie with his storyline, why was Colin and him a thing genuinely, why did he go to prison? There wasn’t a purpose I can find for it at all other than to build up what Kimiko and Frenchie already build up for the last 3 seasons! As soon as Frenchie gets out of prison it feels like they get back on track
Hughie was ok in my opinion. I like that we get to see him when his dad passes and meet his mom again but I only loved it when his dad was on V because I felt more of a connection between all three of them. Also how has he not cracked his dad died, that stuff with Ashlee like seriously!? I get he’s use to it to a certain degree but still
Starlight was ok she was kinda forgettable this season oh wait are we calling her Annie again or what?
Butcher man what can go wrong with him I don’t think it was his best arc and the twist was ok I didn’t see it coming 🤡 but I like where it’s going and how they handled him
MM also kinda forgettable feel like he might die next season just because he has a daughter
Homelander was great again he hasn’t really felt intimidating for me since season 1 but I still like his character
Deep is always chill and I’m interested to see where he goes next season as well as noir
Ryan I feel like can go anywhere at this point but I like what they did with him this season
Last one I care to type about being A Train, I love is his character arc and I hope they leave him be for the most part since he’s learned his lesson and moved on but is most likely dead next season
These are my thoughts and it’s 3am now and I just wanted to get this out I’d rank it the 3rd best season out of 4 not including gen V obv goodnight

I've been told for weeks 'they've decided they're going to end it' and so I thought everyone meant the series finale is this episode. Throughout the whole episode I was like, this is a joke and the worst finale for a series I've ever seen :D Only when I aggressively searched 'Season 4 finale' that I realised it's season 5 it'll end on. FFS now that I know this , that episode was so cool.

Garth Ennis had one request with the showrunners. Be faithful to Butcher. It was obvious from early in this episode that this was the episode where Butcher finally goes full bad guy. Tyler Negan Durden was the only option that he had. Butcher is gone, Ryan killed him, Hughie will finish the job.
I definitely can see Ryan and Hughie especially from The Boys being the ones who have to take down Butcher

Really had my expectations high kinda disappointed maybe because I was hoping for a s3 type finale but overall it felt like a part 1 to season 5
The way they killed off Newman was disappointing they were building her character since s2 and that’s how they kill her off no way but hopefully s5 episodes are all written to feel like finales
Supposedly they're currently writing the scripts for Season 6 so hopefully they'll see some of the feedback for the finale and factor it in there in some way
With soldierboy coming back and same being added for the final season, its really going to be a season with alot of the supernatural cast, i cant wait

I think the problem with this season its that they try reeeeally hard to make it "different" by doing "plot twists" on things that people already had an idea of where they were going but the final product by making those desicions its just bad xD sure making Ryan the good kid by using Butcher its kind of cheep but its not bad because of it...but changing that for Mallory such a great and smart character in all this seasons...dead...like that.....bruh lol its not bad just for her character but also for Ryan since this is the second time he has killed a person in that dumb way.....exactly the same goes to Victoria....i dont hate the show but this season killed the perfect run for sure.

I watched the finale recently and honestly I am really hyped for Season 5, I think they're going all in by making The Boys crew lose and returning every super hero in the previous seasons in the next one, Neuman dead, Butcher going all in just like his comic-counterpart, the release of the virus... They're really setting up big like in the comics, maybe even bigger. I'm really excited for the next two-three years. Gen V Season 2 will also be next and I wonder what else they could add to the final season of The Boys, I like your idea of The Boys crew and Gen V cast interacting in prison, I'm certain they will appear in season 2.
I thought it was going to be A-Train, but I'm really glad he didn't die this season, he's the best character in this season and he will help alongside the heroes which I'm extremely happy for his character. On another note, I'm really sad Neuman died this early, it was expected that she will die but not in this season. What's worse is that Zoey had to witness her mom dead and Edgar knowing about this. Butcher on the other hand, he became even more dangerous than his comic counterpart as he has both the parasite, Joe Kessler, and the virus. He will certainly go solo taking care of the job of every superhero, I imagine he would be on the news as some supervillain threat terrorizing supes. Similar to Ryan, I don't know where would his character go since he doesn't trust Butcher, the CIA, or even Homelander after hearing the news, I think he will possibly visit Zoey as she is his only good friend left after everything that went down. Even though I'm really mixed on how they handled Sage's plan, like it felt like a godsend as a plot device in this season by her, she really did earn the title as the smartest hero by orchestrating everything planned in this season haha. Though, she is much big of a threat as Homelander so The Boys have to take care of her quick. Ashley injecting V in her was kind of expected as an option but also surprising; her body losing control, it really reminds me and it will be funny if she turns out something like Hulk from Marvel, since her body is mutating and she's always stressed out and will lash out at everything.
Overall, I'm really excited of future seasons of The Boys universe, we only have Butcher, The Boys, Guardians of Goldolkin, A-Train, and maybe even Ashley fighting Homelander and the Supes and I really hope they do not disappoint in the final season but I know it will be a sad one🥲🫡.

Gonna be honest the whole season felt very underwhelming, I wasn’t super satisfied with it till this last episode, now the whole season felt like a interlude build up to the real big finale season 5, I do believe season 5 will be the best one
