This is great, i think a lot of people could really learn how easy it is to build inversions by moving some notes up or down an octave, and how you can "shape the harmony" by making it feel like it moves up or down or stays around the same level to either match or contrast the bass. Theres a lot to explore with just that concept that completepy changes the flavor of a chord progression.

Thank you so much for this! I've been trying to learn how to make something in this genre for the past year. As someone with no musical experience, this helped out immensely. Would you be willing to go over other parts of making a kawaii future bass song as well?
Also, probably one of the things that helped out as well was when you used stock instruments when you were starting. It was nice to hear you play around with both free and paid instruments. I can't justify the cost of paid instruments right now, but as I start to get better at making things in FL Studio, then I have some new options to play with that sound better x3

Here's the tips when you try to make the "kawaii" soundings like:
D# Maj, F Maj, F# Maj, G Maj, A Maj, B Maj (cheats for progressions you should try!) ☕👍🏻

It's actually a preset from Arturia Stage-73 VST, there's so much sounds you can actually use, also I use addictive keys which both of its was paid VSTs :D

Tutorial on how to make chords like the beginning? I've been trying to get that moeshop esque style for a while but never get it to sound authentic. It would help a lot :) (also full song?)
There's no full song for this chord, cause this is only for an example! :3
Also I usually using major chord with jazz progressions you can found almost everywhere, just make any combination from that progressions and you're all good!

It's Arturia Stage-73, you can find it on their website, and also it's paid ;)
How do you get the thing where your cursor becomes a speaker and it plays the chord?
You can do it by pressing alt + right click!
I get how you make the chords, its just 7ths and 9ths. -But how do you work out what your next chord is?
Combining with Diminished and Augmented also works!
You can either combine it with 7b5 or 7#5 also, make it more jazzy 🎙

Much less Serum, Sylenth1 and Vital for synthetizer and Addictive Keys for my Piano
the 3x osc is usually for Square and Triangle leads

I have a question. you turned on the scale helper but you still placed some notes that are not highlighted and therfore are not in the scale. why does it still sound good? usually, notes outside a scale sound wrong.
modal interchange. taking notes out of scale. it's used in a lot of popular genres, electronic all the way to country. it's a really underrated thing everyone should learn

It's a modal interchange, some of the notes would be not on the scale but still fits perfectly with the progressions you make!

Not taking a references, but I found it exactly similiar to.
But remember, you can't monetize/copyright a chord progressions so just be creative with the chords!
what synth are you using? i just can't find get the right sound out of my synth :(
I use DX7 and Addictive Keys for the Rhodes and Pianos

There's a setting on the piano roll views, I've not using FL for a long time and I forgot where's the settings actually now :

How dose it work when the keys go out of key but still sound good?
Adding some replacements of notes and put it on the different sound or even progressions can give it some spiciness of jazzy progressions, since jazz itself sometimes have more complex progressions than we though, hope that helps!
