It sounds like you'd like the EJ07M 'X HBB Kinda Lava' variety, which is a 'slightly re-tuned EJ07M with an adjustment to the mid-bass'. I also hope you also get to try the Z12, which has a 'a 2dB boost to the sub-bass frequencies under 50Hz [of the S12] resulting in an overall better sound presentation with richer tones and a punchy lower end'. I don't have the S12, but hope to purchase the Z12, as one reviewer (Gizaudio) felt it improved the S12 with a more balanced tuning.

@@ConvinceMeAudio I now see that the 'X HBB Kinda Lava' variety was a limited edition and is sold out. Maybe you could reach out to HBB (Bad Boy Good Audio Reviews) for some EQ settings that match your favorite target using jaakkopasanen's 'AutoEQ' project using jthedering's "Equalizer APO" along with peverbeek's "Peace Equalizer, interface Equalizer APO".

hi, how do you rate Moondrop variations against these or any other of your favorite iems? I have never heard more engaging, growly sub-bass, variations is capable of producing even better than Z1r. plz, let me know if you heard one.

how about ej07m with thieaudio oracle mk2? which one is better in sound quality because this two iem is same level price? i like vocal and bass
If you haven’t purchased either of them, I recommend searching for others. There are much better now. This is quite an old review and the market moves very quickly where monitors are concerned unfortunately

Honestly, I highly recommend saving up some money and getting the Spirit, Torino twin poles. It’s absolutely insane for the price point, but it’s a little more out of your budget unfortunately but it will cover you until $2000. It’s that good

But I genuinely love mooned drop variations in this category, insane base and nice mid range I recommend checking out the review

Unfortunately, that unit is no longer here, but it did require tremendous amount of power insane amounts, it might be okay but I can’t 100% be sure
