That's basically the same reason I sold my KL version because I just knew I wasn't getting the intended sound.. It drove me crazy.

Hi Paul I always respect your reviews together with your friend Michael Bruce I have the EJ07M and really enjoy it.
My large family have over 150 IEMS between us.
Last week we received the SOUND RHYME SR-05 in my opinion it is as good as the EJ07M at a fraction of the price it’s fantastic.

It is expensive but it can be less expensive during sale periods when most people will purchase it. This set was bought used at a great price so keep an eye out on Head-fi classifieds also.
Vocals have a good amount of thickness for both females and males without being overly thick or thin.
Nice review! Also got mine reshelled and retuned to Kind of Lava, and perhaps because my ej07m was lacking a touch of midbass to start with, at least to my hears, I think the KL is more balanced, and I love it.
I tried to contact them about this and have not heard anything :/
@@ItsJustChase you can try pinging Joseph from Letshuoer at the hifiguides forums. He may take a little time to come back to you, busy guy, but he usually does, and Letshuoer's support is fairly good in my experience.

With the EJ07M reshelled, the price nearly get to the same price like the EJ07, how does it compared the OG Paul? Thanks in advance
Im not sure Paul has an OG EJ, but I can tell you its nearly the same IEM but 07m resin has that bit of extra details and spice the OG doesn't have.. and more midbass. So maybe slightly more V shaped but it's not V shaped overall.
There is a solution for that. Ear tips. Double flange with a long tube. I tried and it worked fine

Actually no as it still has the M bass shelf and the treble. But how those two work on resin is slightly different than the metal shell. The difference is still not the same as the 07.
@@PaulWasabii huh interesting. I have the ej07m kinda lava and the original ej07. Love them both, wonder how different a resin ej07m would be but then again I never the original metal shell either.. lol
