Is it really possible to make 715hp NA with a 347? Theres a channel on here "quarterhorse" that has a built 347 stroker no power adders claiming 700+ or is it a case of different dynos give different figures ?
that’s only 2hp per cube. Any reputable engine builder could do that. It’d probably turn quite hard and require expensive valve train to hold stable at higher rpm. But definitely possible by anyone knowing what they’re doing.
We tried everything to get cooler air into a buddies Vortech equipped Fox Body and saw no changes in ET. As long as you're able to keep enough fresh air flowing through the engine bay, the power loss is negligible and about the same as running a longer pipe to locate the filter elsewhere. Add in a good air to water intercooler and you really notice no difference at these power levels. On an NA car that doesn't have a supercharger making the air charge denser, feeding cooler air to the filter makes more of a difference.
