I live in Florida and Jamaica but I have visited many smaller towns and villages in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda so bring back memories. Most Africans do not run sizable supermarkets so those business is run by Arabs, Europeans, Indian and recently Chinese. A good business person study and know what the locals want and can afford. Pointless to sell items that people cannot buy. I think most of those Chinese come doing construction of a big project but did not return on completion because they see opportunities in business. The competition in China is fierce whereas in Africa, they in a one horse race. China is the factory of the world so those people know where to get supplies and the best prices. Do not complain about inexpensive prices because that is what you want. If you want billion dollar projects like power plants, cell phone towers or a airport, they will sell you that too but you need money or loan or do without, your choice.
Africa needs to do what China did and demand to have use of patented technology in order to do business in China. This advanced Chinese industry. Africa should do the same to china., but African leaders are weak.
Why most Chinese are coming to Africa? They are coming for business, what else? Just like they do business with every country, and every continent. Duh!!! I'm half Egyptian and Moroccan-Berber. We love Chinese, Japanese, East-Indian, Central Asian and other Asian folks doing business and help the local economy. Also, I have notice most Asian folks are by far the smartest, successful, hardworking & productive people in the world. Also, Asian food are super popular and delicious, amazing on the planet. My dream is to visit in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan, etc. It's no secret Asian countries are extraordinary stunning beautiful, super clean, organize, modern and with unique rich culture.

Thanks Josey, have watched few of your video. Gives the outside world a insight of some smaller cities where you live and visit. I am surprised people do not object to you taking videos. I live in Florida and Jamaica but I have visited many smaller towns and villages in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda so bring back memories. Most Africans do not run sizable supermarkets so those business is run by Arabs, Europeans, Indian and recently Chinese. A good business person study and know what the locals want and can afford. Pointless to sell items that people cannot buy. I think most of those Chinese come doing construction of a big project but did not return on completion because they see opportunities in business. The competition in China is fierce whereas in Africa, they in a one horse race. China is the factory of the world so those people know where to get supplies and the best prices. Do not complain about inexpensive prices because that is what you want. If you want billion dollar projects like power plants, cell phone towers or a airport, they will sell you that too but you need money or loan or do without, your choice.
Africa needs to do what China did and demand to have use of patented technology in order to do business in China. This advanced Chinese industry. Africa should do the same to china., but African leaders are weak.
Why most Chinese are coming to Africa? They are coming for business, what else? Just like they do business with every country, and every continent. Duh!!! I'm half Egyptian and Moroccan-Berber.
