Thank you for showing us the daily life of the local community I'm from GHANA 🇬🇭 so it's good to know that on the continent of Africa tradition continues the view is priceless I was cracking stones at 15yrs old 💚💚✌💯
Thank you Josey for posting ..it gives me something more to pray about and even try to donate ,if you ever have the chance please post some info on how to send funds ❤️🙏🏿...and those meatballs are nice and fresh red lol 😆
I did not hear if you said why they move those Rocks. It is very difficult to translate different languages when you don't know them. But I'm always impressed by so many people speaking even a little English there. Thank You Miss Josey.
Thank you so very much for sharing your experience with us...you are a good person, may God continue to bless you and keep you safe while you do your work.
Miss josey thanks for showing us different parts of Africa wow those women and girls and boys are strong and hard working how they do it it’s amazing 🙏
Unfortunately, Josey, Google translation is not enabled in this video, so I couldn't follow it Perhaps you can allow automatic translation so that we can understand the blog
your interpreter must get a medal for that 'she's saying nothing'.... Josey, you are the best.....your patience, wit, humour, disarming smile, hearty laughter and willpower carry you through treacherous terrains you travel. I wish you luck as you go around the world to bring us top content... .. Personally, I learn a lot from you videos..❤🧡🌹
Burundi beutifull people and great country.Miss Josey your content is on another level, I heard about you from African Tigress. I am a Luhya from Western Kenya and our language is similar to many Uganda bantu tribes, I hear a lot things you say in your luanguage, I do understand some words in Kirundi. I heard you say to a kid 'reka kwiruka" it means stop running way in Luhya
Well done Josey, it's nice to see this kind of journey documenting around Africa and see how people are doing, can you imagine these people are the back bone of the country infrastructure, at the beginning we saw small childrens and womens were breaking those stones into small pieces, then later we saw where the stone came from, wow long way to walk and very dangerous landscape. Those stones later will be the foundation of someones home or other type of buildings or road work flow, i worried for those small children's doing this kind of work, specially it worried me so much when i saw that young lady carrying small baby while working on that danger place: ruclips.net/video/aK-o6SvVhTI/видео.html i hope their life condition will get better sooner and a bright change will come to them sooner. Keep up and please Josey eat more plant based food alternative, it's healthier and more secured way of not getting diseases through the animals flesh, all the known diseases are based through the animal flesh, be careful what you eat, i jumped over the meat ball part because i eat only plants
Thank you Miss J for another incredible journey. Not sure if we got the full story on the work site but the men might be supervising and control the women and kid traffic and clearly in charge of public relations ie “she said nothing” don’t worry about it. Your guide wasn’t crazy on getting his feet wet ( I have to see my wife and kids…) but subtext “don’t want to leave you roaming around talking to these women without a chaperone” very interesting. The river itself looks like it’s drying up and wonder what all these souls will do when it finally goes. Stay safe as always xx

Inflation in North America is terrible because people refuse to take jobs if their not paid enough. It breaks my heart to see people struggle like this, but they all seem to be doing OK. I just wish no one had to struggle this hard to survive. Thank you for sharing Josey
Oh Miss Josey, Miss Josey. You certainly do give me great cause for concern - the 'heart-in-mouth' kind! Might I suggest you try and engage the services of a local guide as much as possible on your travels and escapades? I appreciate and love your derring-do, and I know you have an affable spirit, but please please please be extra vigilante on these trips to foreign lands. As usual, it's all love 💕❤️.
Mis Josey thanks again for another great video, I am big fan of yours and appreciate the work you are doing! In this particular video i felt you somehow ignored the fact that this guy was making tremendous effort to make himself understood, like when he said “ do you have your mother ” i felt so uncomfortable that you made him repeat again snd again, I felt like YOU coming from Uganda you should have immediately understood what he meant. There are so many similarities between all those great lakes region countries!
From this video it was very heart touching and so much that i read in the bible and now i see on this video i can comprehend so much and the reason why things were like they were it touch my heart in so many ways than one. And not only that but also to see how abuse effects us the same. OUR MEN HERE IN THE UNITED ISN'T TO MUCH NO DIFFERENT FROM THEIR MEN THERE. THESE PEOPLE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING AND GOD KNOWS WHY. I HAVE COMPASSION FOR THESE PEOPLE HEART FELT COMPASSION.
You looked over that first edge and my toes curled up lol I am curious what they used the rocks for, I assume it ends up being used in construction. Crazy how they can carry that much weight on their heads and walk around like that though, I would have dropped it a hundred times getting up that hill
Heartbreaking seeing all those children working so hard. Children should be in school. It's quite sad to see the children exploited like that. I understand the reality of such abject poverty, but it's still heartbreaking to see.

They got independence from Belgium but their leaders caused the problems they are facing today because of power tussle, France got nothing to do with Burundi, they colonised by German and Belgium
The translator just reminded me of the UAE's none English speakers who can happily say that "me also you" to mean something close to "likewise." Their hustle is real hard work in the stone site
I have so many questions. What river is this? Why is the River so low?, looks like it used to have more water. Is there a drought? or is there a dam up river? How do they learn English? Do they have schools? I read someone’s comments that these rocks are for building. Why do they have children doing this Labor by hand? Can’t they get some machines? Why are the children working like this? How much do they get paid? Is it enough for a decent living? Is it a fair wage? Beautiful video. The people seem very friendly.
Hello dear.i read all your questions and what you have to know is that our country is blessed by God through many talents.the government built that bridge in order to facilitate the community .as you see they are childrens who cross it in order to go school. So come to our beautiful country you will learn more. Physically we are poor but in our heart we are rich
How many hours do they work carrying these stones? This must be exhausting to do this kind of work all day long. And what about your precious pedicure in these harsh conditions? XD
@@muhanuzimark3189 it is and it isn’t. At first my husband and I were wondering the same silly thing, but then it became obvious that it’s for construction. Why would we initially be confused about this? Because we are idiots? Perhaps 🤔. But I think the reason we were both confused was ignorance and naïveté. We could not fathom that little children and women with babies would have to do such brutal labor for construction materials. In our country there are well enforced laws against child labor and we have had machines for a very long time used to procure building materials from quarries. It’s still very hard labor and underpaid, etc, but there are no children or babies on these sites, and they would have things like hard hats and safety equipment. Besides being cruel, it also almost seems absurd to see children break rocks for money. How can that be efficient?
When we think life gets hard its good to see how others live and survive. Thanks for posting.
I really appreciate that guy trying hard to practice his English 🙂
Blessings to the hard working African people
I love adventures through your lenses

The poor mind set of past leaders messed out our country to date ,but we should learn from the past mistakes ( ethnic differences and tribalism)
Love and respect to you miss Josey and all the hard working African people. From Brian in Ireland.
Such a rich continent. The exploitation kills me.
