I love this video sm, especially how u put the name for every level in the bottom corner as it is being shown (colon does this too), so viewers can easily check it out along with how u chose some of the most visually pleasing levels in the game, but bro how did u not show any xender game levels such as White Space, Dream Flower, Ultra Violence, Shards of Siberia or The Escathon lol
You forgot the music 😭 the music is probably part of why that all the level creativity and community is even possible. If we were still stuck to the same main level songs, there wouldn't be nearly as much interest in the game, because people would get bored with the songs. As for me personally, the music is probably the part of Geometry Dash that changed my life the most. I fell in love with all the songs in all the different levels and now have been creating music for over 5 years, which I can all attribute back to finding Geometry Dash. other than the music, great vid :)

This is hands down the best Geometry Dash video I’ve ever watched, this video essay outshines every other type of Geometry Dash video there is for me, absolutely outstanding work. 43:39 Though I might add that when an obstacle is freely rotated, it can only touch the secondary player hitbox that rotates with the player, whereas if it’s not, it can only interact with the primary stationary player hitbox.
finally, THE perfect video on this subject. storytelling, accuracy, presentation and argumentation is top notch. your voice is very calming as well. i'm subbing
p.s. this video also filled me with gratitude for robtop's efforts. while he still has his flaws in designing games (including some objectively unfair features of the main levels), he was still able to attract such a massive community of people who play the game with passion, not with money in their mind (unless we're talking about waboo, fuck that guy)

This is one of the few videos that does geometry justice. And by far the best at representing the game as a whole. Loved every second of it and it exactly picks up the emotions, that make the game so special

this is one of if not the best video on youtube I have ever watched, I have watched many gd "documentaries" on races to beat levels such as silent clubstep and acheron, I have watched every top one in the history of gd, I have watched the history of gd. I think that If I watched this video with no prior knowledge of gd, I would want to buy the game, I would feel like I already know so much about it, I watched this video and it did not feel like an hour. I've never felt so good about why I have put so much time into the game, and this makes it feel like it was all justified. Phenomenal Video. It reminds me a lot of Samifying's videos and I hope you make more documentaries on GD in the future! Hope it gets nominated for best of 2024!

what the hell RUclips, this is one of the best videos about gd that ive ever watched, seeing that after 3 MONTHS it only has 3k views is really disappointing to me, its a waste of the editing skills that this guy possesses, i sure do hope the algorithm will pick up this video and show it to more people, im gonna try and bump this video as much so more people can enjoy it.

this was such a good video like first time i’ve felt the need to comment yk, i just wanted to say some parts i like cus like idk admiration venting, i really liked the “live” cataclysm part in the middle, when you slowed it down it got kinda choppy which was kinda distracting but im sure you can sync up a sound of a heartbeat with each frame to add to the atmosphere or smth so yeah i love your videos uhh hiphip hooray!!!
