These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance is holding down the bass in the back, Tim adding some deeper bass notes & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won in 2013 & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song.
Home Free won me over 10 years ago when I watched/heard them win the Sing Off TV a cappella competition. I later discovered the groups, PTS and VP, and have grown to appreciate their immense talents, but I always come back to Home Free. In this one, Rob's fantastic performance proves his talent, skill and passion. All 5 of these men just simply love to sing, and will constantly surprise you at what they'll come up with next. Not surprising that they consider Rob the best singer. Rob,'s professors at college urged him toward a career in opera, but he chose a different career path. His performance here is outstanding, but he is only showing about a tenth of his talent. Not only can he sing opera but he can whistle and rap outstandingly.
I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob who nailed it. What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads, fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline and the inhuman vocal percussion that makes it complete. The best A-Cappella group for me!!

I was the opposite of you. I was introduced to Home Free before Pentatonics or Voiceplay and refuse to get into them! They remind me of the extra groups in Pitch Perfect that dont realize they're not cool!😂 Anyway, Home Free does most genres, even OPERA! Their sense of humor is unmatched especially with the 80's remakes!

Home Free is always respectful of the original version of a song, while not merely making a pallid imitation of it! Both of the main singers: Rob (glasses) & Austin (curly hair) are classically trained and have a video together of "Nessun Dorma" (on Austin Brown's channel).
