Poor Ben, they seemed surprised when he got into the crate willingly without a fuss. The poor guy was probably so excited thinking that the crate means bye bye Hunanya!! Lol they probably could have just walked him over holding his hand as long as they promised no more Hunanya! Jeremy has such a way with these guys. It's truly awe inspiring. He makes them feel better. Visiting Monkey World is on my bucket list for sure. As well as meeting Allison (sp?), Jeremy, Mike, the list goes on and on!! I adore primates, especially orangutans. Keep up the awesome work guys!! And I'll keep telling people about orangs (and many other animals) being endangered and how everyone can help by doing little things such as avoiding products with palm oil that isn't farmed sustainably, etc. It's not much but it's better than nothing.
He wrote a book called Jeremy and Amy about his raising the orangutan Amy. Not sure how much it has to do with the park but I’m excited to get my copy and read more about Jeremy.
I just love how Jeremy is with the chimps he loves them so much and they love him as well I think they would be lost without him so would we being able to see him react with them is just amazing and so precious!
It was a foregone conclusion that once Pip died that Ben would go to the bachelor group. Best place for him. Odd that they didn’t mention Pip once in this episode. Do they think we forgot? Poor Pip. Poor Ben too, but al least he has Shameous and Turkish Çarli
I don’t know what conditions are like today because these episodes are older, but I am sure it’s just as great now, thanks to Alison and Jeremy. It is very apparent that these animals receive five star care by staff who really love them. 🥰❤️
My heart is happy, I got to see another episode of my fav ❤️. I jus love the bond that Jeremy has with these primates. It's wonderful how the care team do so much for the primates to get them livin like they should be if they were still n the wild. Isn’t Ben going through mourning due to the loss of pip being that they were so close. or does that not affect them greatly?
Animals are amazing, unlike humans they have the ability to grieve and move on faster. I’m glad they don’t wallow in it.
