Great instructional video, well done. Wish more companies did the same standard. The price of the tail tidy is fantastic also. I'm curious as to why you used the nuts as spacers when installing the new tailpiece?
Thanks Rob! In regards to the nuts, the answer is pretty simple! It's a part we already use elsewhere so have regular stock of, and it happened to be the perfect thickness. To top it off they are stainless steel so required no additional finishes. We could make specific washers for the same job but it would add more work and as such extra cost to the product.
will ya be making this tail tidy for the new s1000r. i see they have slightly different tail ends & not sure if they are the same number plate holder mount

Hi there, from what we know at this stage they are the same part. This is only from indirect reports though.
Can't you just leave the bike together and cut the wires and rejoin them be faster wouldn't it.i got to fit one weekend cheers
Taking the few extra bits of bodywork off doesn’t take that much longer, and means you don’t have any extra joins in the wiring.
