@@mikefreitas1331 it can’t hurt but the OEM bolts don’t have any and there is enough tension on the bolts it shouldn’t be an issue.

@@jt3d867 if you have concerns with road spray your best bet is to stick with the OEM fender. No tail tidy on the market will provide road spray protection like the OEM fender will.

@jandivinagracia3659 officially we state 10-20 days depending on locations and the flow of international traffic. Recently we have found stuff going to the US to be quite quick and taking around that 10-12 day mark.

@@rayutwenty-four6753 unfortunately we have not had access to a Z650RS and as such can’t confirm whether it would fit. While styled the same, the base bikes are completely different and our suspicion is the fitment of the rear guard would not be the same between the 650 and 900.

Probably the hardest part of any install! We highly suggest letting the indicator bases sit in a mug of hot water for a while. This really helps make the install a lot easier.

@MustardBikes once I worked out the way it was easy, ensuring the acute end is set properly and can't slip out. Great kit, looks awesome thankyou for the video install!

@@pbx0087 this will depends on your local rules and regulations (and also on what your local police get upset about). We recommend you check your local laws and fit a reflector if necessary. We do sell a generic bolt on reflector solution that works well with this product.

@@pbx0087 in QLD I would say fitting a reflector is a wise idea, my understanding is QLD police will pick on anything, even bikes that are compliant!

@@fall3nones599 that depends on how you mount them and the rigidity of your L/P plate. We alllow significant clearance with the back wheel, however if you have a very flimsy L/P plate, even the stock fender won’t keep it safe from the back wheel.

That's personal opinion. We have sold plenty, so there are obviously people who find it a worthwhile modification.

Unfortunately we never got a hold of a 2017+ R6 to develop from. We did look for one, but with no luck locally.

@@Telesk1er great to hear! That is a pretty good turn around to the US!. We generally advise 10-20 days depending on your exact location (obviously remote areas can take longer hence the large difference in time).

@@lightpes4956 this is designed with Australian design rules in mind. ADR are very similar to euro rules, however you would still need to check with your local rules to see if it would be compliant.

It is slightly less than 45 degrees, which is the maximum plate angle allowed for Australian Design rules.

@@MustardBikes The stock bracket is 90 degrees and looks fine, so why change it to a 45 degree angle? I think it looks bad.

Hi there, do you mean the plate light? Or the lens colour? The brake light shines red. The plate light shines white. The lens is clear.

To make it as short as possible while retaining clearance with the back wheel. If you go too short or too low you can risk interference with the back wheel at full suspension travel. The tail tidy does not interfere with the tail light itself and there is full visibility of the tail light from behind.

@KjKase, these were fitted from the dealer and we suspect are genuine Yamaha items.

@@MustardBikes weird, I went to my dealership here in Canada and they said that Yamaha doesn't sell the side tank pads for the MT-09.

@@KjKase indeed. I do wonder if they might be from the earlier model? Or maybe they just fitted aftermarket ones. As mentioned they were fitted at the dealer, so we unfortunately don't know much about them.
