The 351W fits in there nicely. I wish that Ford had offered a 351W option when the fox body Mustangs were new.

It would have been a hot rod king if they would have done it like you stated. The 5.0 blew up big time on the market even with that small engine and a 351 would have been the big dog!

The VICTOR 5.0 & 5.8 were great manifolds! With the scarcity of good efi Ford manifolds, or the astronomical prices being asked for mediocre vintage pieces I've gone LS in my Fox bodies.
However, I'm onto a new but old flavor of Kool-aid. The dual quad dual planes with port injection. Twin throttle bodies and a pair of fuel rails feeding 8 injectors like the 80's and 90's. Yet a nostalgic muscle car look of dual quads with a custom oval air cleaner.
Ah the air cleaner....the base must be custom fabbed to include long radiused venturis matched to the 4 barrel throttle bodies. A 3" tall oval filter will fit under the hood and provide sufficient air. Almost as nice as individual throttle bodies!
Now if ACCUFAB would release the 8 100mm throttle body intake for the BBF.....I'd shoe horn that in there.
I can't wait to start the next build.

@@benalamedaracing2765 well I definitely like the sound of it Mr. Ben. I've always had a good feeling about these things.
Ever since I started showing the old naysayers that 0.500"+ lift(0.575"/0.585") and 230°+(242°/252° @ 0.050") could be run on the street.
Ever since I started boring Mexican blocks out to 4.100" and running my own ported GT40's in my '93 Cobra.
In 1999 I met my instructor Terry Smith at UTI Houston and he told me, "Artie....you got something there." I love this stuff.

Awesome! I also have a 4.17 stroke 351 with well ported TF Twisted wedge heads (taken out to the 1262 Gasket) but a little less compression (10.2:1 )and cam (232/237@.050)
It’s in my 2400 pound Cobra replica and it’s a torque Monster that revs really fast and cruises on the highway at only 1900RPM
I was the very first ‘over the counter’ Coast High 427 rotating kit, and I had to do a bunch (of free R & D for them) just to get the Mopar 340 rods to clear the cam tunnel!!
What’s really impressive about these motors is the bobweight is only about 1850 grams, lighter than a stock 302 and with aluminum heads weighs about the same as the original iron head in the 289 cobras

I going to run n/a street on pump gas with tremec 3550. What kind of power can i expect with them and should i go with a 363 or 408 stroker? I like the idea of a fast reving torqey 363 if possible. Any input would be appreciated. Ty very much.
