You Will Be Found, Dear Evan Hansen, San Mateo High Mateo Motion Dance - by Alyssa Sims

Choreographed by Alyssa Sims (grade 12). This dance was inspired by the Broadway musical "Dear Evan Hansen." Through this piece, I hope to instill hope for those even in their darkest times as the dance follows the story of a teenager and his brush with loneliness and suicide. I was inspired to create this piece in February on a dance trip to NYC, where I participated in workshops with Broadway performers and attended several musicals. I am the soloist in the beginning of the number. The amazing performers are from Ms. Tribuzi's 7th period dance class. Video by Alyssa Royce.

Wow. What an awesome performance! I have never like ballet/ dance really. But I stumbled over this video. And w o w is all I can say! W o w. The last few moves of the performance are simply amazing. So I guess you have taught me what it means to have a story come through dance. Simply amazing. Thank you!

Beautiful dance!!! I love these costumes/ dresses. I am a dancer getting ready to do a lyrical this spring and I've been searching everywhere for a blue costume. I haven't been able to find any that i liked until i saw yours. I love it! What company did they come from?
