Never had a Malteser in Hand but it looks as if they are about 1 / 1,5cm in diameter which would mean you are telling the policemen you where going 500 / 750 cm/s = 5 / 7,5 m/s = 18 / 25,2 km/h = 11,2 / 15,7 mph (for the americans)
So unless Im in a traffic jam i would never actually go that slow :D

Well, there are places where you are not allowed to go that fast. The lowest speed limit I know is 5 km/h (and 15 km/h speed limit also exists).

These two are some of the very few youtubers that actually work hard each video for us to enjoy instead of holding a £300 point and shoot camera at there face for a few minutes each day and getting millions of dollars for it. That is why i instantly press like on every single one of there videos regardless. That and the fact they are fellow Brits, and are great lads!

I'm not sure who you are referring to with the point and shoot camera RUclipsrs but most of the top RUclipsrs, especially those who post daily vids, like gamers and vlogers spend many hours per day editing videos. This is one of my favorite channels so I'm not trying to dis your comment, just trying to correct a possible misperception

This makes me wonder how much damage just the air would do.
I think it would be good if you put the objects being hit, further away from the end of the cannons barrel, so that raw air pressure wouldn't influence the outcome of the Malteser .....love the video guys and as always love the channel

*Pressure. You could use any gas so long as it's compressed, i advise avoiding combustibles, unless you're going to film it. :-D

Pondus Berggren It's cheaper to buy in bulk. We don't eat the whole bucket at once, just a handful. So we save money. Also, you can buy just the small bag if you want. We have different size options depending on how many you need, like if you're having a party, the bucket is good option. So we have more options at better prices. Not sure where the criticism is coming from.

I love the sound effect during the slow mo shots, always one of my favorite little things you dont always notice
i love that they made a candy super fast, just to prove that mass isnt everything/size. SPEED IS KEY
When you do things with paint, you should put a few canvasses around it and see if some cool paintings come out of it and maybe do a give away each time

The lights in that room were 60hz (USA) and we shot this at 25fps (UK) which is why the lights are banding down the screen like that. I noticed it and turned them off eventually. Sorry for messing with your eyes, chaps.

I distinctly saw an indentation in the ping pong paddle before the Malteser hit, as if it already had a hole and was re-covered.
Initially I thought that as well but then I figured that we're dealing with a lot of air pressure and there is some amount of pressure proceeding the Malteser causing a deformation in the soft rubber covering the paddle.
In the end I don't think these folks need to fake results to entertain us. Failures are an option!

Most passenger planes do approximately 850 feet per second. So if the malteser did 900 feet per second, then it actually might well be the worlds fastest ever! I am genuinely amazed at how much damage it did! I half expected the malterser to just turn to mush under the initial pressure.

Should have placed the targets a little further away from the barrel. Looks like lot of the damage/displacement was caused by the pressure of the excess gas, as opposed to the impact pressure of the Maltesers.
Still, pretty awesome!

All rough estimations:
(Assumption: diameter of pineapple = 15 cm):
Length of streak = 2/3 Pineapple = 10 cm
Shutterspeed = 1/3000 s
=> velocity [m/s] = 0.1 m / 333 µs = 100'000 m / 333 s = 300 m/s
=> velocity [km/h] = (3600/1000) * 300 m/s = 1080 kmh/
=> And for you american goofballs: velocity [mph] = 671 mph
