Louisiana is such a magical place.
The people of Louisiana are open, friendly and inviting.
The most hospitable, genuinely nice people you’ll ever meet. Louisianans....yes, indeed!!
We hug everybody!! 🦞🫶🏾☝🏽⚜️
I visited New Orleans in 2021. It was my favorite place I've ever been. That accent is so unique. nowhere else in the country. The food blew my mind. Absolutely my favorite food. The culture, history, and beauty are amazing.
Louisiana Creole/Cajun culture is fascinating.
Come on down and see us! I'll invite you to dinner in my family's creole kitchen! All are welcome to a meal in Louisiana
Its crazy how different their accent is so much different from anywhere else in the US
@@Seethersurge Lol i get that wherever i travel to. =) New Orleans born and raised
I love my cajun family learned how to cook from my dad want to go back to Louisiana
yes
I love the way they speak. I can listen to them all day!
MrsJimenez I went to talluha Louisiana and I heard a woman that speak like them and she was so friendly
Me too
Me too lol
It's so funny how every time they cook, the portions are huge! You never see them cook for 4, or 6. Always like, 20! HAHA
Who wants to make a bunch of food and still have their guests hungry huh?
StrongnBeautiful that’s Louisiana for ya lol
That’s usually how everyone cooks back home in Louisiana. The only difference is the food we cook is fresh and healthy. Not fast foods. I didn’t grow up eating fast foods, so I still as an adult don’t touch fast foods.
StrongnBeautiful that's called good southern cookin
Who wants to cook and not have leftovers?
I am black Irish from Boston Massachusetts and I love creole culture 🙏❤
Crazy Chick Shena is so beautiful
You are stunning ❤
Crazy Chick Shena my daughter is black and Irish. Isn’t it such a beautiful combination?
Stay in boston
Black Irish ☘️ 🤣 in (David Allen Grier voice)
I love how the youngest completely stopped eating to listen closely to the Elder. That's how it goes when you have respect for elders. You stop what you're doing so you can pay FULL attention bcuz you NEVER know when they're going to drop some knowledge or wisdom.
And if you don't you get one right across the head
Yo, I played football in high school with Dorian! I thought that was crazy seeing him on TV. And yes, he's very mild-mannered and polite.
It’s like stfu I’m trynna eat food and enjoy it not hear this bs idc if it’s fresh food I know it is dumb a ss
They need their own cooking segments on the Food Network
Love the Edgar's, very close knit family
I’m from New Iberia, Louisiana and i can smell this just by watching it. I know exactly what this smelling and tasting like
Looks scrumptious. Can't beat the fresh air....surroundings and tranquility. You're blessed
really great people, husband delivers and pick up from these good folks
Thank God for my Creole father right outside of Lafayette
There's ALWAYS that one person who has a life story or SOMETHING to talk about while you eat
That's part of the flavor😂😂
dont get much better than that thow
Loll was thinking the same thing
It’s like stfu I’m trynna eat
I love to watch this one over and over it looks so good and hearty.
My Mimi used to make this whenever my papa was mad and it would cheer him right up God bless his soul
They put some Creole people in there, FINALLY!
PNickels... I know right!
Man!! But the swamp is more known as Cajun that's why
Creole means a French person born in America. At some point black people or mixed race people were called Creole too. It seems to go hand in hand with the food traditions in the South mixing French, Spanish, African Native American etc.
TBM ....Taste Buds Matter
@Right Cha The Acadian French escaping from Canada (Cajun) used Creole to tell the difference between themselves and local French/Spanish. This was in French territory, Louisiana so makes sense. I think the root word is Portuguese and could be used to describe any different group. As far as first I have not read that and I know what the dictionary says. I read into the deeper history.
Love the background music and the looks of that food
I'm glad I from Louisiana 🤘🏻
What you see in the pot at first is what we call the trinity. Celery, onions and bell pepper.
Got to love a man that catches dinner and cooks It!!!
I'm a Virginian & my dreams of coming to Louisiana get stronger every day, I LOVE LOVE the accent, the culture & especially the food! Being a cook I have always dreamed of tasting AUTHENTIC Creole & Cajun food. It's so beautiful there as well! WOW! My heart melts❤❤
My grandma’s in town and she showed me how to make it but, she had me fry the fish just a little so it won’t break up once it’s in the sauce. I’m making it again today and yes, this is an expensive dish and can’t wait to put it in our restaurant we’ll be opening in Atlanta.
Mine too. My grandmother always fried fish before adding it to something else. Kept it together and add nice flavor and crisp.
They remind me of my Grandpa's side of the family. Country and creole!!! Would go out and hunt or fish, come back clean it, put it on the stove and serve it for dinner. Nothing like freshly caught food. Especially when it's cooked by an old school creole. You can just taste the country in the food. Lol
I envy them I live in California and everyone here is into kale diets and me as a Mexican American admire there way of cooking
California does have many Creoles restaurants, since many people from Louisanna migrated here for some time.
3 generations sittin there
Omg that looks delicious! I love catfish and shrimp. I never had them together but I would definitely try it! I love Cajun & Creole food! I would like to go Lousiana someday.
You are always welcomed to Louisiana 👍⚜️
I tried this recipe with Louisiana Fish Fry Shrimp Creole base, 1 can of tomato sauce, holy trinity veggies, 2 catfish fillets cut up and some Jumbo shrimp in the slow cooker. Talk about good eating. Thanks for the recipe.
Don't forget a good amount of tonys
Creole culture is something. Like a blind of French, African & Native American blood gets you this great cooking. I want me a creole woman now😍😍. Lol
It’s just black people
Only thing missing is some day old French bread.
Love and Support from the Philippines ♡
Thank you all the way from North Carolina that look tasty!
What is crackin me up is the subtitles like we don’t know what they saying😂😂
I can translate for you...!! KMSL WE REALLY DON'T TALK DAT BAD 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I loved Creole and Cajuns Cooking!
Whew! Hottest thing in that swamp isn’t the creole spices - it’s the creole men. 😘
The south is heaven on earth.
Besides the unbearable humidity, mosquitoes and swamps.
@john thonig I'm more worried about the mosquitoes.
john thonig and inbreeding

Creole food is the best in the world to me. I’ve had a lot of food but hands down that Louisiana creole food is straight from the gods.
Its funny how people who don't know what its like in Louisiana there is some of the greatest in world who live in Louisiana and some of the best cooking everything from Cajun to oriental to Hispanic , really people from all over the world that added great taste to our Louisiana cuisine!!! God bless Louisiana
You're living in a fantasy world. Lol!!! The delicious food in Louisiana is because of us indigenous Black-LaLwizyànan cookers here in Louisiana.❤🔱🖤
That's real good eating right there. I love to see our history passed down from generation to generation
I've always been absolutely infatuated with Louisiana cooking ever since I was a kid hearing my dad talk of their cooking in such high regard when we walked by a Cajun restuarant one night.
I gotta say. I swear these people were gifted their culinary ability from God himself.
The holy trinity is by far the most amazing smell to ever fill my kitchen when I made gumbo for the first time.
The grandpa is right too. I swear, after a long day at work and some good hard training at my mma gym, I made gumbo for dinner and, woke up the next day completely recovered with loads of energy.
Gotta love cajun cooking and the people from the dirty south . God bless america🇺🇸🇺🇸💪
ronin samurai that’s creole not Cajun
That's Creole, not Cajun. Big difference.
Jeffrey Woodruff shut up
ronin samurai the Bible says do not eat any fish that does not have scales or fins and we're not suppose ti eat any she'll fish
Michael Johnson NO
I live in Iowa but I'm born and raised in New Orleans we grew up around all that seafood that a lot of us never learned to catch. I wish I was taught to hunt and fish when I was a kid. But I gotta say I can cook that Louisiana food pretty good.
This is so cool. I love how everyone adds something to the pot.
That looks INCREDIBLE!!! 😍
That looked amazing, my mouth started watering😁

I really wish i lived down south. I would love to live of the land like all these guys do. I'm from Minnesota and i have Minnesota nice in my blood. I love to help people out. And i know people like Troy does a lot. And I've been working on my cooking skills. I'd love to make a big meal like this. Yummy
Come on down from Georgia.
the dude that didnt say nothing is gorgeous!!
He knows better to say a word they dnt put up with there kind down there love it down there!
Thank you
Yesssss he is😍😍😍
John Smith I’m assuming you didn’t put much attention to the video because if you did you would’ve known that he’s the son of the one who’s cooking the catfish. Anyways not everyone in the south is a racist and bigot such as yourself.
Wtf his kind? That's not nice to say. There are a lot Creole people in LA.
Having fun and cooking with good people
Why am I drooling watching this lol
That man couldn’t be quiet the food was so good. He like I would’ve paid $75 for this meal
I need to try this. Good southern food
Protecting that recipe. We got onion, bell peppers, looked like 3 cups of water, 2 cans tomato sauce and a healthy dash Tony Chachere's, shrimp and fish. I feel something else is there because of that color.
is that tony cachere's creole seasoning? what can I use for substitute if I don't have one?
Tomato paste maybe. Roux maybe? Kitchen bouquet?
ruuoxi Salt, pepper, cayenne, onion powder, garlic powder, celery powder. Or some Slap Ya Mama.
@@14akilah no way about an hour that shrimp cooks in 5 minutes and the catfish wouldve disintegrated in an hour looks like paprika and chilipowder for the color
Roux
Looks so good!
Looks fantastic!
Dis catfish coubion be wondamus, I gar-an-tee!
The meal looks delish and so does silent Bob 😍😍 didn't say a word but was so pleasing to look at . I bet that's his daddy sitting next to him.
That’s his uncle and grandpa
The beautiful young man is Dorien Edgar. The one cooking is his dad and the man with glasses is his dad's dad. Both Dorien and his dad play/played collage football.
He's gorgeous.
Yes gorgeous with an amazing body.
Yes very handsome but the man cooking is his Uncle, please watch the show
sheila spaulding i want him to be my creole husband

Bring on the heartburn. That looks really good. 😎
Love swamp people
Our regional Black-LaLwizyànan ethnic group's Jambalaya rice dish of Louisiana derives from Jollof rice of the Senegambia region from the Wolof ethnic group of Senegal, West Afraka. It doesn't have anything to do with no Cajun food culture. It's a 100% Black-LaLwizyànan created Jambalaya rice dish.❤🔱🖤
Swamp people u rock love u guys
Mouth watering!!!
I made this for the first time this weekend!!! It was delicious!!
Hey Jason I have ppl out there with the same name as you
A meal like that would make me feel so sluggish ! Lol
Seeing this makes me so happy. Man I miss my mom and all her Creole cooking. For some reason the potion look the same. Why do we cook so such for so few people. 😂😂😂
