Wow what a tumble I didnt think it was ever gonna stop. I think the summit has some of the best suspension in the game plus locking diffs and multi gear transmission makes it hard to beat. Those big mud slingers are sick I have some 1.0 on mini crawlers that are awesome. The only thing I dont like about the summit is the way they have the servos set up exposed on the underbelly jus ahhhhhh nawwww
@@SidneyTripp I imagine it’ll handle pretty bad with these tires….also I don’t trust that the Mudslingers would stay on the Beadlock with the Brushless power….you could try it out and see though
The problem is those tires they are not as soft as the stock canyon tires that's why I stopped using them. The stock tire grips more since it has that low tire pressure feel.
I don’t actually have experience with the stock tires….this rc came with these ones…I do like using them though because of the added ground clearance to get over bigger obstacles
Honestly, those tires seem very stiff. The ones I have on the original tracks that I bought are extremely soft and just grip onto anything they come into contact with
Mudslingers look cool, but unfortunately they are the worst performing tires I've used on a summit. I own all the RC4WD and proline 3.8 tires plus a few more. I don't own any of the duratrax tires though.
Idk….they are helpful with the extra clearance gained….The only other experience I have on the Summit is the Proline 3.8 Rock Rage Tires which don’t seem much better the Mud Slingers in most terrains tbh
@@RCKnockout mudslingers are just too heavy and the rubber compound is hard. I own two sets of mudslingers. I cut every other lug out on one set for better performance in mud. If you want more ground clearance, I'd suggest the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. Soft compound hooks up good on rocks and they have an aggressive pattern that does good in the mud. Tall trenchers perform really good too.
@@RCKnockout yes, the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires are 40 series. They are about 8"tall. Not to be confused with the Mickey Thompson Baja Claws which are shorter.
@@llx_bishop_xll3673 they’re not really comparable….the Axial Scx10 II is a better crawler but it’s too slow to do any type of bashing unlike the Summit

😂 you made me laugh when i saw the truck roll all the way down the hill with just silence
Well at least you got a laugh outta it lol 😂
I watched it over and over. Man that was hilarious 😂
That looks like a awesome place to crawl!!
Ausome Rig to👍😀
Yeah it sure is!
cool rc and awesome run, have a great weekend brother

Yeah it’s a fun machine…..I’ve never had an issue with the servos…..they have a shield around them that helps protect them
Hey man do you still have the rc4wd mud slingers? And can u mount them on ur widemaxx for a video, please
Yeah I’ve still got them….but they’re way too big to run on a Traxxas Maxx
@@RCKnockout too big?? Dang I was want a different tire too run.
Do they rub or just too tall

You’re welcome. You too! 😉
How did you get your rc car that low geared. Is it just stock or a different mode because mine cant do that?
It’s stock gearing I believe….it’s in the first gear when I’m crawling
The summit has a hi/low gear (2 speed) transmission. you can select the gear from the transmitter.

That's a sweet summit how you like the summit Im thinking of buying one
It’s fun….it’s not fast…it’s not slow….but it’s a good dual purpose machine…..excellent for crawling with the locking diffs
Softer foams?
That might help a little bit
Honestly, those tires seem very stiff. The ones I have on the original tracks that I bought are extremely soft and just grip onto anything they come into contact with
They are definitely on the stiff side but they’re much larger than the stock tires so they can roll over much bigger obstacles
is this bushed or brushless??
This one is brushed….all stock electronics
@@RCKnockout cool

2:44 😂😂😂😂
Those tires look too hard, not near enough flex and grip.
This is where guys cut 1/2 the knobs out to allow more grab!
Yeah the tires are very thick rubber so it doesn’t allow for much flex
