Tobacco is more dangerous than some illegal drugs. You'd have to be either very clueless or self-destructive to use it, and "but I didn't think it was that bad" is really no excuse; it's not really comparable to a complication from a medical procedure nor an existing medical condition. Smoking is a very clearly harmful thing that some people do to their bodies because they don't understand what they are doing, or don't care, or can't stop. In the latter case, they need advice, support and help; in the other cases, they need a brain that works better. I'm tempted to say smoking due to apathy is cause for sympathy, but here's the thing: smokers don't just poison themselves, they poison everyone around them, stink up the place, and - ironically - exacerbate people's asthma. So I find it hard to say they deserve sympathy for spreading cancer-inducing stench because they haven't been taught to care... though I will say it's a shame they weren't taught that. They should have been. Through positive example. Peace~

When I was young and dating in the 80’s, finding a good woman that didn’t smoke was pretty hard but I got lucky and we,even been married for 33 years now and her skin is still amazing compared to women that smoked! Choose wisely men, women will rarely actually quit and by the time they do, the damage is already done and cancer is a ticking time bomb.
