Now I do need to be one of the first ones to comment haha. So a cool tip is that when you put the basket in the dolphin, you don’t need to hold the handle down and then close the lid. It’s a self closing so you just close the lid and it’ll automatically put down the handle. Nothing too like for purpose but just so you know.

Hi thanks for your helpful videos I watch yours the most, 2nd year owning my pool, still learning as I go! I bought the Dolphin robot cleaner to us this year because last summer, all I did was scrub and vacuum every time I had a day off instead of enjoying my pool. My question is this, when I was reading directions for the product and the warning label it says do not use an extension cord for any reason what so ever. But, I have to use an extension cord or my robot will not reach my pool it’s away from the house a bit and the plug in is to. I don’t want to send it back but what do you think I should do. I have a very good and expensive outdoor extension cord from Lowes that’s top of line safety code and a outdoor surge protector as well. Do you think that would be ok?

The filter basket is it the same one that come with the unit, do you recommend buying the ultra fine filter basket to pick up all the dirt?

How does it do with fine particles like dirt and sand? My pump vacuum just doesn’t do a good job. Been eyeballing these vacuums but like you said it’s kinda pricey.

Do you run your pump and filter while your dolphin is vacuuming your pool? And if so do you run it on the filter setting?
I run the Dolphin with my main filter on and off I do not worry about it. Thanks for watching
had it for 3 years it picks up small stuff fairly well sometimes but struggle with leaves would not recommend...........stevie mobile,al I noticed he has the screen filter while i bought the fine filter option it might do a little better suction with his screen than what they sale extra as a small partical filter just not enough suction

Just got mine today and need to wait on chlorine level to go down to start using.
Says it's new but there were no plastic stuff to remove on wheel! Is that normal?
The serial number was not on good..hope I got a new one!

I take care of my pool and i have that vaccum and i spend 3 to 4 hours a day on vaccuming i asked for robot but they sad its expensive so im saving for that one

Is there any possibility, how to tighten the belts?I am using this cleaner for longer time , and now i can see from time to time , that the belts are turning pretty fast ,but the cleaner is not moving...is that ok?

Sorry I can not really say I have never had an algae problem. It does have a fine filter

How many times should I vacuum my pool with the robotic vacuum?
I depends on how dirty your pool is. If people swim in it a lot you probably won’t have to use it as much. I use mine maybe once a week.
My robot vacuum is an S 50
How long is the electrical cor
The electrical cord that goes to the power box is about 5 ft 10 inches and the cord the goes from the power box to the pool Vac is about 37 ft. Sorry to get back to you so late.

We have had ours for years and this year we had to replace the cord on it, have never had any other problem with it. Great investment!
