After 4 years of ownership....I love this car more even more. Better tires than those crap P Zeros to cure tramming, and a good chassis alignment and the car is transformed. The 4Cs have proven to be pretty much bullet proof. Mine has been dead reliable....no issues ever. And every time I see it I realize what a great bit of art that body is.
@@chrisrichmond403 Chris....I went to Michelin Super Sports in 215/245 sizes and same aspect ratio as stock. Totally transforms the car. No tramming, better ride and better on track. Also should be longer tire life from what others in the AROC 4C Forum say. I know why ALFA went with the P Zeros (Italian company) but I think that was a mistake in the car. Another highly rated tire is the Bridgestones which are a bit stickier so are very popular for autocrossing as they built heat quickly...but that makes them not as good for tracking.. Not as good for tire life though. Michelin is gradually replacing the SS with MP4 and MP4S. When I looked though they hadn't yet come out with a tire smaller than 225 which is too large for the front 7" wide wheels for best performance but are OK as a "B" fit choice. Continental also has a good tire choice that some have had good luck with. By the way....if you have a 4C I highly recommend joining the ALFA 4C Forum on line. Great bunch of owners from all over the world. I am one of the three Super MOderators on it.
Astro Bob Ahh ok thanks Bob .. I have not purchased a 4C yet but it’s on my wish list .. I am a big Alfisti .. I currently own a 156 2.0JTS and have previously owned 5 other 156’s & a singular 159 since 2006. I have also previously worked on contract for Fiat / Alfa now Fiat / Chrysler for a company called Walon now BCA at Portbury Docks Near Bristol where all new Alfa’s come into the uk and then after various processes put on transporters to UK dealers .. I drove the cars down there.. I did see a line up of 5 4C’s but never got my hands on one ....
+MroStudios German cars are always the best. Italian cars is so-called romantic bullshit. Except for Lamborghini because thats guess what, managed by German.
This car gives you more feedback than any car I have ever driven. I absolutely love these things. I drove it on Saturday and my head is still all buzzy and jittery.
As much as I want to love the 4C, I wish it had a manual so bad! Alfa went on and on about how the car was suppose to be pure, which is why is has no power steering and what not, but then never offered it with a manual!
+Brian Steele Not really...they are both 2-seater, mid engined, closed roof sports cars. The Exige would be fine to add (if Lotus still makes it?), but I think most people considering this would be wise to cross shop a Cayman (and a Corvette).
Nice, an Alfa 4C review. Huh, a girl? Vicki was spot on and I like the car even more and she likes to go fast. Did anyone get a load of the license plate, lol?!
+Mladen Milić Yes and the whole car flexed like a mule while cornering. Less weight? what are you talking about, The golf... weight 940 kilogram. This Alfa 4C weighs 895, but it has a turbo, intercooler, bigger radiator, more coolant. The Alfa looks a lot better, has bigger brakes(=heavy), is a lot safer(=stronger=heavier)
Yep....Once you understand how an Alfa DEMANDS that you drive it, only then will it show you who it truly is. It requires your commitment to drive it ITS way...then when you do, it just says "Lets go".
Im after getting a mg zs 180 to strip out and up the power a bit am going for 200bhp per ton its only going to be a budget build so we shall see if i can do it :-)
I sat in the car it has the classic Italian upright close to the steering wheel seating position. Very good for close track work horrible for commuting.
fatboy19831 well that you're opinion, i think its very comfortable at my height, which i can see why you dislike it at yours but at an average height is is similar feeling to a older corvette, and i really enjoy the fun factor which it brings even in trafic
Vicky describes two route to making a sports car... the first route she describes sounds like a GT to me (and they show GTs in the clip to validate this), not a sports car xD
+Phillguy....when you drive this, you'll know it's all ALFA........Engaging, twitchy, sonorous....to her credit, she captures the focus required to drive this car vs any other bloated Bavarian pigmobile....
paul hunter Lotus use Toyota motors not Hondas. Do some research before you post a comment. I’d take the 2zz in my Elise over this Alfa motor any day. NA and revs to 8k. The V6 in the Exige and Evora is all aluminum 24 valve and sounds great. So no, not crap. And Honda don’t make crap motors either.
@@paulhunter123 anyone who thinks honda make crap engines knows fuck all about cars. And then they prove they know bothing when they claim Lotus use Honda engines....
Another "almost". If only Alfa could license the hydraulic suspension system from McLaren, or the Chevrolet magnetic dampers, you could actually take this some places besides the track and canyon blasts.
Look, except for the sheild grille and maybe the Alfa badge, it just looks like a better version of an Elise. Don't be taken in by what the journalists say.
Another car that has good performance but no substance. It just came out and already looks dated. The interior is a joke. All hard plastic, the Korean cars look better than this junk.

I have heard from some reviewers the steering is not that direct
Still looks gorgeous. Is it not annoying being an automatic sports car?
You'll be able to tell the sex of the roadkill you just ran over is one of the best lines I have heard ever
Definitely 😂
I can't find a single reason to go for the Cayman. This thing is simply one of the most beautiful piece of car out there.
+MroStudios Interior is way nicer in cayman
And a caymen is german.
töttöröö kökköröö Interior? Come on...
Kamika-zz And the Alfa is Italian. Some say italians know how to do cars.

The back of this car is AMAZING
Hey guys, I hope people noticed...the photography on this episode was beautiful...almost every single frame. Very nice work.
One of the best 4c reviews👍
This car gives you more feedback than any car I have ever driven. I absolutely love these things. I drove it on Saturday and my head is still all buzzy and jittery.
Looks and sounds absolutely gorgeous! The car's not bad either...
This car is awesome. I drive one around the south of France and it always makes me smile.
Alfa's marketing campaign is wonderful. When a person can drive an Alfa in the manner of a musical instrument. Three pedals are important!
Good bye Vicki. We will miss you. Cheers from a Canadian fan
One of greatest car reviews ever. .!
Fantastic Report !
I don't know what is more beautiful. The Welsh countryside, the car or Vicki....
TwoWheelWarrior I'd take Vicky!!!
TwoWheelWarrior hahaha are you for real ?
TwoWheelWarrior I love Vicki, but that Alfa is one of the most beautiful cars ever made man. Hard choice..
+Cade Tickle Vicki needs to drop about 30 lbs......The Alfa is already lightweight.....
+Dino Pappous she had just had a baby (her 2nd) before this was filmed. I'd cut her some slack.

Just get a T.50 bruh
@@aaronwalker1549 just get a formula one car bruh
sounds total fun. not like those boring computer controlled, thousands of dollars hyper cars
Love the Alfa ❤️
Watching this sat in traffic in my 4C.. I love this car.. it’s fabulous
You're lovely, Vickie!
Car's great too!
Love her so much fun

Do guys suddenly go blind when a woman happens to be able to drive? She's not ugly, but beautiful? I don't understand you guys. She looks so regular.
+Jip W /// True!
Citizen Kane Jr. You don't understand people being different to you? The mind is not designed to be that narrow...
+Citizen Kane Jr. I wish every "regular" woman looked like her.
ryvoltz Haha... they do
It would be good to see a comparison between this and a Lotus rather than a Cayman. The latter is a very different kind of car.
+Brian Steele Not really...they are both 2-seater, mid engined, closed roof sports cars. The Exige would be fine to add (if Lotus still makes it?), but I think most people considering this would be wise to cross shop a Cayman (and a Corvette).
God I want that car....
And still better than all of new top gear
2 Dislikes? Must be from those rear tires Vicki just smeared on to that wet tarmac
Nice, an Alfa 4C review. Huh, a girl? Vicki was spot on and I like the car even more and she likes to go fast. Did anyone get a load of the license plate, lol?!
Gosh vicky you look beyond cool on that car, i imagine if it's your real car. You're a roxxstar
Golf MK2 GTI had 1.8l engine , room for 5 , big boot and yet it had less weight .

She bends well. In fact, she bent the driver’s seat when she climbed in.
Unfortunately at 6.5 feet tall I cant fit. Even those that can fit the driving position is for race track use only. A true no compromise sports car.
no not true.. although it would be way fun to drive on the track its meant to be a road car not a track car
I sat in the car it has the classic Italian upright close to the steering wheel seating position. Very good for close track work horrible for commuting.

I wish I could agree with you but at 6.5 feet tall I can not drive the car safely. How tall are you? I fit in all Corvettes except the C7.
im 6' 0" so i have a good amount of head space
and to think vw almost made a mini R8 and decided against it
Great video. I am one of the few. It is the perfect toy.
That´s right, my perfect toydream 🤣
Was actually shocked to hear that a Porsche is cheaper.
+Finch Gould it is not in fact
+Antonio Talarico It is in fact, the 4c cost around 63000€ whereas the cayman cost 54000€.
+Dipierox nah
schhh... 10k euros less, a luxurious interior and the glorious noise of a flat 6.... ;)
Dipierox to each its own - the porsche is anonymous

+Guy Bramwells ....BMW = Big Money Waste......
S1000RR 25k. 308Kph top speed...sounds cheap to me.
900+ kg!!! How did they make it weigh that much, an Elise is like 700+ and it doesn't have a ludicrously expensive carbon tub.
How much Cost?

Gorgeous car! Nice Review!
Anyway, I just thought that this is the erotic fictions when I leave the computer monitor and listen to the review. LOL

Racing gocart for the road.
I love the looks of the 8C, but somehow they messed up the front of this one.
porsche no chance...alfa all the way
Fastest gran on 4 wheels.
ummmmmmmmm let me call my credit union
y no power starring
Weight
And more feel
hmm seems like vicki weighs more than the alfa remoe 4C
creative planet agreed.
Both in a diet would look even better..!!
God, what has happened to Vicki Butler Whatsername ? she looks like she weighs two tons now...
So much effort Alfa made to reduce weight, even no power steering steering..then she comes along
azor ahai whadaya mean?
Yo that’s my dads car 😹😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
So to conclude, the 4C is not for overweight middle-aged women. Great, i'll have one then.
I hate white cars! But this one may even come in white 😍😉
SHE SAYS 900+ KG.... BUT ON USA TV THEY SAID 2400 POUNDS.... WHICH IS 200-300KG MORE THAN ALFA LIES.//
US spec cars weigh more, due to more reinforced bumpers, air cond, etc.
Euro spec cars are lighter, and the figure is accurate.
My km/h is 364 on nitro in Asphalt 8
Would have been a great car 20 years ago.
That car needs 450 hp for me to even consider buying.
